《Origin of death》Chapter 3: Order and Nature

In a different galaxy on a planet named earth exists a not very known bar named 'oracle'.
There are not many clients coming, but it's enough to make the owner in a pretty good financial situation.
Behind the counter is the only employee and also the owner of the establishment. His name is Delfyne.
He is a tall man with long golden hair wearing a suit and sunglasses. Many people do not know why he is wearing them since there are no blinding lights inside a bar but after some thought, they assume that it is some kind of a dress code.
Little did they know that a man himself is wearing them only to hide his eyes. He has snake-like vertical golden pupils which are completely different from humans of this world.
In fact, he is not a human, he is a giant snake which is thousands of years old. And also a greek god Delphyne, a guardian of the Temida oracle.
At least that was who he was years ago before he became 'fallen'.
'Fallen' are gods who lost their home, worshippers and power. Because of that, they were forced to fall into a mortal realm where mortals live.
In his case, he lost in a battle against numerous enemy gods from different pantheons and they killed the person he swore to protect even at the cost of his life.
Destroyed by grief and guilt he fell and spend his first few thousands of years in mortal realm wandering without purpose. After that, he swore that if he ever regains his home he wouldn't make the same mistake ever again.
Gods on earth have never known about the existence of creators or other worlds. The reason is simple they are just too weak. Because of the limited amount of essence on this planet, they are unable to become strong enough to leave earth and meet gods from other worlds.

In the meantime, he decided to open a bar and live peacefully for the time being.
He stops thinking about a past and starts checking a stock making sure that every single bottle of alcohol is in place. After making sure that everything is in the right place he goes to the door and changes sign form 'closed' to 'open' and gets back behind the counter.
After a few minutes, a door opens and he sees that a beautiful brown-haired woman walks in. She is wearing a green shirt and dark jeans.
Delphyne smiles, he knows this woman.
She just like him is a 'fallen'. Aranjani, Vedic goddess of forests.
She never told him how did she fall, but whenever she talked about her fall look on her face told him that it is a tragic story.
She walks in and sits near a counter and starts talking.
"Hello. How's business?"
"Hi. I'm not rich but I have enough money to keep this place in good condition. Something to drink?" Delphyne replied.
She smiled widely.
"The usual."
"Sure" Delphyne replied. He turns and starts creating a drink mixing various alcohols from different bottles.
If someone saw him doing it they would think he is making a drink using random bootles but it is not true. He has years of experience... hundreds if not even thousands of years.
While mixing he asks a question.
"How are you doing?"
Her smile immediately disappears.
"Not bad but not good either"
Delphyne knows that something is not right. He finishes mixing a drink, turns around and gives it to her.
"What is it?"
She sighs and explains.
"Those mortals are destroying forests and nature. I and a few others started creating organizations that are trying to stop them. It's not going well."

Her friend starts looking depressed and looks behind a window. After a few minutes of staring, he finally talks.
"No matter which era, how many years passed or wars happened the never learn. After a tragedy, they create countermeasures. Unfortunately, after some time passes they forget about that, or should I say they do not care anymore and think it does not apply to them"
He grabs a random bottle and takes a big sip from it. At which Aranjani raises a brow.
"Drinking at work? Bad habit"
Delphyne just smiles and talks to her.
"I am the boss here. And I only drink in good company."
Aranjani starts grinning again.
"Nice one."
Then she remembers something that happened a few days ago.
"Are they still causing troubles?"
"Unfortunately" The man answers her shortly.
They are talking about a local criminal group which a few days ago started harassing clients and asking for money for 'protection'.
Delphyne thinks of them as 'scum that break the rules'. In other words as the worst type of person that exists.
After that, they talked for a little while and Aranjani gone home.
At the end of the day, Delphyne closed the door of the bar and starts walking to his apartment.
Suddenly he heard a loud sound of something exploding.
He turns around only to see his totally obliterated bar.
He clearly knows who is responsible. The ones that are causing problems for him and his clients.
He calmly takes out his phone and starts writing someone's number.
Delphyne might look calm, but inside of him, there was a volcano erupting.
'How dare those mortals to do something so disgusting like that' he thought.
In a short span of a few seconds, a call connected. He hears a deep male voice which clearly does not belong to a human.
"Oh. Delphyne my friend. What's up?"
Delphyne grins with a creepy and sadistic smile while answering.
"Hello Jorm. Here is the thing..."
Let's just say that a whole criminal organisation mysteriously 'disappeared' overnight.
Today Delphyne and Aranjani are staying still before a destroyed bar and talk to each other.
"What to do now?" Aranjani asks.
Unknowingly to her, he is thinking about his past.
"If only I could be given another chance or a new place to protect. I would never allow anyone to destroy it. In the past, I was careless, naive and stupid. I am not the same person anymore. Too bad that I corrected myself when it was too late..."
Suddenly the world around them gets completely black.
They find themselves inside a boundless void.
Before they can voice out they confusion a golden glowing figure appears before them.
"Hello there" figure speaks.
Aranjani is too scared by a great pressure that being emits, but it didn't stop Delphyne from talking.
"General..." He stops not knowing the name of this being.
The golden figure starts laughing and after a while talks again.
"...Spark. Well, I have a proposition for you two."
