After the order disconnected, Amirel decided to ask system for details.
"System. How to make a champion?"
Hearing this question, the system explains to the best of her abilities.
There are several requirements. First, it must be a child under 10 years old, because at that age they get assigned their first class. Secondly, at least one of the child's parents must be your or your subordinate's worshipper. It's also possible when this child is worshipping you. Thirdly, you must spend 5 thousand points…
Hearing the cost Amirel gets confused and interrupts her explanations.
"I don't have that much!"
Easy. The first champion is for free.
System clears his doubts and Amirel prompts her to continue the explanation.
"How does this entire champion thing work?"
When the child turns 10, he or she is assigned a class. This class is under your control, which means you are the one who gives spells, skills, etc. Besides, people who are champions gain statistics much faster than other people. And when a champion dies or somehow stops being one you gain divine energy depending on the level and achievements of that champion.
"Let's do this."
Hearing this Amirel decides to start without delay. With the system's help, he uses his divine senses to search for a perfect candidate.
Meanwhile in one of the encampments in the mortal plane. Standing in front of the covered entrance of one of the biggest tents in the camp is a man. From his pale skin and black pupils, you can conclude that he is undead.
This man's name is Oron. He is one of the four chiefs of the camp
'My baby is being born. I hope everything will be in order. Ah! I am so anxious!'
The fact that he and his wife are both undead only adds to his fears, because of their racial characteristics. Their race has an unlimited lifespan, but they pay for it with a low chance of having offspring.

While he was walking around anxiously and trying to think about something else the elven woman walks out of the tent.
Elves are a race with a grey complexion and usually black hair. Legends say that the creator of elves, Origin of Power also has this hair colour.
She is a friend of his wife, Arien. When she was young she has fallen ill Arien resued her and from that time they become close to each other.
"You can enter, I will get a priest."
After entering he sees his wife lying on the bed covered with a quilt. She has a gentle smile on her face while looking at a newborn in her hands.
The father of a child comes nearby a bed and sits down also staring at his child.
"What name shall we give him?"
Oron asked his wife. According to tradition it's the women's job to think of a name for the child.
"Talnar"
Half an hour later two men enter a tent. One is a middle-aged elf with black hair and a short beard. The other one of them is young, apparently only learning his role as a priest. Both are dressed in white and grey robes symbolizing their faith in the supreme of death.
They came here to perform a traditional ceremony that consists of a simple prayer right after birth.
This ritual is deemed necessary for a soul to enter the realm of the dead. Of course, it doesn't matter, souls will always enter it, but mortals do not know about it. This way even if parents of the said child are worshipping a different god the undead priests are always present during or right after childbirth.
Both priests got closer to the pair and said.
"Mrs Arien, Mr Oron, congratulations."

"Thank you."
Both husband and wife duo answered without even looking at them.
The priests did not get angry at their action, because they both understand those parents must be extremely happy at this moment.
After about ten minutes, the priests start the ceremony The Father of the child holds his son high above his head while priests are praying.
When they finished a figure appeared behind them.
Priests and parents get startled by a sudden appearance of an outsider.
This being looked ghostly with only outlines visible. It's extremely huge with four eyes with which it stares right at a child.
"Who are you?"
Shouts the older priest and Oron at the same time while Arien is trying to shield her baby with her own body.
Unfortunately, only the head of the church knows the appearance of Amirel. If they knew they would instead be kneeling on the ground right now.
The intruder didn't care about them and only said with its terrifying voice.
"Found you"
After saying that the figure changes into a cloud of smoke and entered the child's body.
Right then a guard rushes into a tent.
"Chief! What happened?"
"We need to tell this to the head priest!"
While shouting that both priests run out of the tent. Seeing that Oron narrows his eyes and gives commands to the guard.
"Stay here and guard my wife. I will go with them"
And runs after those two men.
They run through half of the encampment until they get to the head priest.
They met him on their way when he was taking a walk.
The head priest is a tall skeleton wearing the same robe as the two men. Apparently, the head of a church is a lich.
"Why are you running?"
Tells lich, sounding amused.
"Head! Something terrible happened during a ceremony to the chief's child!"
Hearing this, skeleton immediately gets serious and asks for details.
They started recounting the details of the accident When they described how the being looked the head priest started laughing.
"hahaha. That's great, amazing!"
All of them were stupefied at his outburst and asked.
"What's so funny your excellency?"
lich stops and calmly said.
"We have another champion."

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
