Well , I’ll keep it short ... At this point , except Andel , all my characters have a paper like existence . The beginning of this arc is my attempt to start changing that . I don’t know if I’ll manage it , but I’ll do my best .

Divine War Arc: Disguise

[Hecate’s POV]

A tender ray of light falls upon my closed eyelids . Slowly my consciousness awakens while all the senses in my body start working one more time . Slowly I open my eyes and raise from the ground . My lips curl upwards involuntary ...

Today is the day . After seven months , I’m finally back . Arachnea , my home , can be seen in the distance . I might have quite a few bad memories regarding this place , but this doesn’t change the fact that it’s my home .

Looking around I start realising just how perfect of a day this is to return home . The sun just starts rising spreading a golden brilliance over the whole world , a faint rainbow can be seen in the distance , the song of the birds resound in the forest , the mountain that blocked last night the view towards Arachnea is no more , a blind pirate with a long red beard stands looking in the distance , the breeze carry the fragrance of mother nature while cooling the atmosphere ...

“Truly a perfect day !” [Hecate]

I turn around and head towards where Andel is sleeping . I take a few steps when ...

“... Uh ... There is something wrong here ...”[Hecate]

Turning again , I take a closer look at the red-bearded pirate ... Holly mother of god ...

Getting near him, to the point where he is less than a step away from me , my mind has only one question ...

“Andel ... ” [Hecate]

He turns his head towards me and , with a slight smile on his face , takes one more step . Now we are less than a palm away from each other . My breasts touch his chest while I can feel his calm breathing . My cheeks turn slightly red ... Slowly , his head comes closer to me until , finally , our lips touches ...

‘Uhhh ... It’s been already over twenty seconds ... It’s not that I don’t like it , it’s just that ... Well ... ’

“Hey, Hecate !” [Andel]

After almost one minute , he finally stops allowing me to catch my breath ... That was an interesting experience that I don’t want to repeat too soon ... Mainly because ...

“Andel , If you don’t shave that monster off your face , you can say farewell to kissing or sleeping with me ! ” [Yra]

Yap ... That’s why . It looks like Yra and Balcifer woke up as well as they stand a little further away from the two of us .

At Yra’s reply , Andel looks a little dejected , but soon enough his carefree manner takes over him .

“Oh come one Yra . It might tickle a little , but at least it looks cool !” [Andel]

“Shave or I’ll personally shave it for you ... With my rapier” [Yra]

“Andel , if you want to break up with any of us ... Just tell us . You don’t have to go that far to make us run away from you !” [Balcifer]

“Not even you Balcifer ... Anyway , Hecate loves it so it stays !” [Andel]

Uhhh ... Andel , please take the hint already ... No woman would love that monster ... But how am I supposed to tell him this ? What if his feelings get hurt because of me ? What if this would create a small seed of hatred in his heart ? I couldn’t live knowing that Andel hates me ...

‘No ! Calm down Hecate ! He would never hate you ! ‘

I bend my head a little downwards and , with a shaking tone , I try to tell him what I really feel ...

“Andel ... I ... Don’t ... Really ... Like ... It ... Either ... ” [Hecate]

Pfew ... That was harder than I thought ... Raising my head , our eyes meet again ... Sad ... He is sad ... Fast ! Think about something fast !

“Uhhh ... Andel , it’s not like that . If this is your choice I am sure that I can learn to like it . Actually , I think that you look quite amazing with a beard ... I said this only because I am used with your old look and ... ” [Andel]

He puts his finger over my lips and with the other hand takes off his beard .

“Calm down Hecate ... It’s fake !” [Andel]

“Thank god !” [Hecate]

“Thank god !” [Yra]

“Thank god !” [Balcifer]

“Oh come on ... It couldn’t be THAT bad !” [Andel]

“Anyway ... What is with that pirate uniform , Andel ” [Balcifer]

I think that is the main question , isn’t it ? Although I know that Andel can be quite strange at some points , this is the first time I’ve seen him wearing something like that .

“Well ... We are kinda responsible for starting a divine war and the enemy knows our faces ... So a disguise is needed !” [Andel]

I can’t believe that I forgot about that ... That is true . We are in the middle of a war... We can’t just walk around like nothing happened . Disguising ourselves is quite an amazing idea ! But wait , if I think about it now , doesn’t this mean that ...

“Andel , I’m sorry for interrupting , but the enemy knows how I look and that I was with you ... Doesn’t this mean that once I return to my Clan , they will know where we are ? ”

He looks at me and his smirk goes wider . A faint light can be seen in his eyes right now !

“Don’t worry , that is easy to solve . For an unknown reason, they are not after me , but after Andelion . In this conditions, we can just say that we were kidnapped by him and , during the encounter with their army , we managed to escape somehow .

Furthermore , I already sent those three idiots to run around creating trouble here and there , making sure that we won’t be disturbed with our job here . ” [Andel]

Oh ... That is right ... We can do that ... Andel is truly amazing to be able to think about something like this !

“Andel , are they truly going to be OK ? I mean they are quite strong , but they could at the most fight against two or three top gods from this world at once , but against a whole army, they would easily be killed ... ” [Balcifer]

I don’t know how powerful those three truly are , but I doubt Andel would send them without any plan ...

“If they die , that means they were unlucky ... I can always find other three idiots to take as my disciples !” [Andel]

Uhhh ... Andel , how could you be so heartless ? I saw how those three looks at you and I know that they are good being ... And you just sent them on a mission that might get them killed ? This is too cruel ...

“Hahh ... Let me guess ... You sent Exodus to take care of them , right ? ”[Yra]

“Oh ... Yeah, I did that ... I think ! Te he !” [Andel]

... Now I feel horrible because I thought you were a heartless bastard ... It looks like I still have so much more to learn about you Andel before I’ll understand you as well as Yra does ... But I’ll do my best !

“Well anyway ... Balcifer , Yra this are your uniforms . Hecate doesn’t need one as this is her clan ... ” [Andel]

“This ... ” [Hecate]

“NO FREAKING WAY !” [Balcifer]

“Are you serious right now ? ” [Yra]

Like this , about two hours later , a golden royal blood Arachne , a red-bearded blind pirate , a beautiful silver haired lycan maid and a full skin tight leather uniform mercenary with red eyes , an eye patch and a huge , bloody scythe start marching towards a certain city in the distance !
