Hey, guys ... If you have one minute, please read what I have to say here :D
First of all, this is the first chapter where I’ll try to use the correct punctuation rules... There might be a few mistakes left, but it should be slightly better than before.
Second... Last chapter I talked about my second book Maou: Ascension... Well, to put it bluntly, I decided to try something a little more daring. This is why I changed everything, the plot, the characters, basically the whole book.
I swear to god that this is going to be either a genius move or my complete and utter downfall... Well, I hope that it is going to be ok because what I created is exactly the type of book I would love to read in my free time.
I guess we will wait and see.
Well, without further ado, please enjoy!
P.S. The new book is called Beyond Eternity; I will post here the status so that everyone can see it. Chapter 1: Done!
Divine War Arc: Divine CC Pill #1
[Divine Temple of the Arachne Clan: Ancient Priestess Eluria Elania de Ga]
For thousands of years, I’ve been protecting our clan. For thousands of years, no enemy dared to challenge us. But now, this might be our downfall.
The Golden Goddess Arachne that has been protecting our clan for tens of thousands of years has fallen. We don’t know how, but a thing is certain. She died in fight twelve years ago. Soon enough, news of her death started spreading around and five years ago the Emerald Dragon Clan, for an unknown reason, declared war.
In the end, we somehow managed to get the protection of the Great Naga Clan by marrying Hecate, the first princess of our clan to their third prince Krar’en.
To be honest, at that time I thought that this was quite a good thing. I never even considered the possibility that Krar’en could be a bloodthirsty monster that treats everyone around him like stepping stones and are not worth not even an iron coin in his eyes.

Seven months ago, princess Hecate ran away and Krar’en took residence in the clan. In the last seven months, he has killed no less than five thousand young girls and over twenty thousand normal civilians.
Even I, the Priestess of the Divine Temple had to offer my body to him. He didn’t kill me but, at the same time, I lost all my dignity. This is the first time in my life that I hate the fact that I am forever young.
While thinking about this kind of things, a subordinate comes in, kneels before me and with a dignified voice presents his message.
“Princess Hecate entered the town !” [Anon #1]
Huh? Why? Why did you return? That idiot! No, think slowly! Maybe it’s not too late. If I act now maybe I can get to her before Krar’en and help her take shelter. This is my duty!
“That idiot!” [Eluria Elania de Ga]
Rising to my feet while ignoring the steel kneeling subordinate I rush towards Princess Hecate’s location.
---------------------------------
“It’s too late!” [Eluria Elania de Ga]
Before me, at about twenty feet or so, I can see Krar’en rushing towards Princess Hecate that can be seen in the distance.
I walk behind Krar’en at a distance that will not make him suspicious... Maybe I can still do something here...
Looking towards Hecate , my eyes turns into saucers... Uhhh... I have no words... It looks like she is not alone as there three more persons with her.
On her right stands a blind young man in a strange uniform with a long red beard. On her left, there is a classical maid. Still, it looks like she not one of the Arachne Clan shown by her wolf-like ears.
Let’s say that those two are still in the range of normality. The might stand out a little, but still, they look slightly normal. Furthermore, their aura is perfectly normal and they seem just like some ordinary people that she met in the last seven months.

But there is one more person. Although I can’t guarantee she is a person. In the moment that my eyes lay on her both Krar’en reached a distance of less than one foot from Hecate. He extends his hand towards her but stops petrified in place when he sees the person behind them.
He retracts his hand and takes to steps behind. Countless Divine Symbols starts circling through his armour and a killing aura fills everything in a three hundred meters radius. He looks to be ready to fight, or to flee, at any given time. Well, this time, I can’t blame him.
Behind Hecate, a small cute girl stands looking around bored not even looking at Krar’en that has released all his power. I might say that she is cute, but when I look at her that is not the word that pops into my mind.
She is terrifying! Holly Goddess Hecate please protect us! I don’t even know if she is alive.
That little girl, that cute person behind Princess Hecate, she is the definition of the Reaper.
A black eye patch decorated with magical symbols, one red eye that could stare into your soul, a pitch black leather uniform that looks to be made from the skin of her enemies, a huge scythe with dried blood on its blade and an aura that could slaughter demons and slay gods. If that is not the definition of the Reaper, then I don’t know what it is.
“Krar’en ... It’s a pleasure to meet you again!” [Hecate]
Miss Hecate says in a dignified while looking at Krar’en directly in his eyes. From her attitude, she doesn’t seem to be afraid in the slightest. This is most likely because of that monster that stands behind her.
“Hecate ... What is this? Did you come here to kill me using that ... Thing?” [Krar’en]
“What are you talking about? Are you not my fiancé? I wouldn’t dare to hurt you! Furthermore, Cif over here is just my bodyguard. As long as I am safe she is not going to touch anyone so you don’t have to worry. ” [Hecate]
Krar’en seems slightly more relaxed now, but looking closely cold sweat can be seen on his forehead. I bet that that beast has been dreaming of this encounter, of him pushing down Miss Hecate and raping her day and night. But now, with that monster protecting her, he can’t even touch a thread of hair on her head without putting his life on the line.
Even so... Why did you return Miss Hecate? Why? That person might be powerful but I doubt she is stronger than a god... The Great Naga Clan has no one but three gods under their banner. As the third prince, he can summon one of those gods to kill anyone that threatens his life.
No matter how you look at it, this was a wrong move. Furthermore, we can’t kill Krar’en no matter how much we want to. If he dies then both the Emerald Dragon Clan and the Great Naga Clan would go on a rampage against us. It would be the end of our legacy.
“Ha ha ha! So you are Krar’en. My name is Lite. I am the Greatest Alchemist of heaven and earth. Pills like mine can’t be found anywhere else! ” [Lite]
