Unexpected Guest

He gathered dry wood around the beach for his survival.

Abel turned around and saw a hologram in front of him.

Finally, my area detection skill comes from research. How do I activate this?

“Area Detection Activated!”

Abel screamed and posed as he awakened something inside.

Huh? Why is it not working? Do I have to pay God for my Internet Network?

Abel flinched as he sensed something. He turned his head around.

“Ah!!!”

Abel fell and crawled back from a giant crab cyborg.

“Good morning. Welcome to Hero Island.”

An echo robotic voice coming from the crab.

“What is that weird shit!” Abel shouted

“I am Crabot.” The crab bows down and introduces itself.

Ahhh!!! It’s going to eat me alive!

Abel ignores the introduction and tries to run but he is too scared to move. He already experienced this feeling when the gangster met him, but a giant cyborg eating him alive is much more terrifying.

“I am here to help you.” The crab spoke with an echo robotic voice.

It’s tricking me to have a painful death! Abel thought to himself

Abel listens this time except he sees it the other way.

“Do you want me to guide you to the lab?” The crab asked

It is tricking me!!! He thought to himself

“Do you want me to guide you to the lab?” The crab repeats the question thinking the boy hasn't heard the question yet.

Calm down me~! Calm down me~! Before that shit experiment on me~! Abel sings himself.

“U-Ummm… Y-you’re not going to k-kill me are you?” Abel asked

“Negative. Do you want me to guide you to the lab?” The crab asked again

It wants to experiment on my body! Abel thought in his mind

“Y-yes” he replied to the crab

Abel slowly stood up.

“Don’t worry, I am taking you to my Master’s lab.” the crab said

Master!? Does that mean it won’t do experiments on me! Abel exclaimed

Abel suddenly turns his sadness into happiness knowing someone is here and can help him get out of this island.

“O-ok! Lead the way!” Abel told the crab

The crab turns around and walks to the forest.

While Abel followed Crabot in a forest he saw a cute kitty drinking the water in the lake. The kitty got eaten by a big crocodile-like creature.

“I-is this place safe?” Abel asked with a frightened face

“NEGATIVE, but the lab is safe,” Crabot replied

“I know we are going to the lab, but how far is it?” Abel asked

“There.”The crab points at the mountain far away. Abel sighs. Patience is truly the key in this world.

…

It’s nighttime. Abel is tired. Really tired.

“Can we take a rest?” Abel requested. The crab stopped and turned around.

“I apologize. I forget humans get tired.” Crabot replied.

‘‘Finally.’ Abel sits under the tree.

“May I know your name?” Crabot asked

Shit, what should I say?! I can’t let him know my name from this era. I’m gonna have another name.

He thought to himself.

“Jake. My name's Jake.” He replied to Crabot.

“Excuse me sir Jake I have to shut down for a recharge.” The crab shuts down while it’s standing.

I need to work on my skills, how do I activate them? Abel looked at the crab to see if it’s shut down.

“Ok time to put my research skill to work.” He started gathering plants and rocks.

Hours have passed.

The crab starts to activate itself. It made Abel flinch.

“Good morning sir Jake. I apologize, for making you wait for so long”

Jake realizes it’s daytime already.

“W-what?! t-that was quick!” He said in shock.

“Does something matter, sir Jake?” Crabot asked.

“N-nothing. Let’s go!” He replied.
