The boy now goes by the name Tensei, living under the roof of 6 which he could call a family and a home. A day has passed and begins anew for Tensei. The family gives Tensei a nickname which is Ten for short.

(Hayashi) Everyone it’s time for breakfast!

Everyone gets ups for breakfast as Tensei slowly enters the dinning room, looking cautious as ever. Hayashi calls out to Tensei to come over to eat breakfast. Everyone on the table was happy to have a new member to their family.

(Hayashi) Ten, no need to be shy come over and eat your breakfast before it gets cold.

(IKKI) Come on Ten.

Tensei smiles and runs to the table where they have an open seat for him. Everyone begins to eat but stops as Tensei prays for the wonderful food and his new family despite being a mute. Everyone on the table starts to follow up Ten’s prayer. Afterward, they all began eating as the time flies by and Tensei having a wonderful life experience.

(Ume) Um... Ten you wanna play with me?

Ten nods a yes at Ume as she was excited to have a friend who isn’t a female and was the same age. They both went out to play tag as Ume falls down and accidentally scrapes her knee. Tensei immediately tries to aid Ume but then she stops him from going any further. She reaches out her hand toward her wound and a sudden light appears under her palm. Ume lifts her hand up off her wound and the scrape disappears like magic. Ten was surprised and confused of what she did but he knows that Ume is alright now. Ume still shy as ever tells Ten to keep it a secret of what he saw.

(Ume) Ten could you promise me to keep this a secret.

Ten looks at Ume in the face and sees how desperate she is with this ability. Ten nods a yes toward Ume as they quickly got back to playing tag. Sunset appears, they decided to call it a day as they head back home. Just a mile away from home a sudden storm of ice and fire came out of nowhere right in front of them. Ten covers Ume as the mysterious storm closes in but then stops. Ten looks closely to see and appear to be the twins fighting each other. Ten was confused of what’s happening in this situation then looks behind him to see if Ume is okay.

(Ume) I’m alright Ten... um um your hand.

Ten notices he was grabbing Ume hand tightly and quickly lets her go. She immediately turns red like a rose as she tries to thank Ten for protecting her.

(Ume) um T-thank you... Ten.

Ten nods and smiles at Ume as she covers her face from behind him. Things were quite awkward at the moment but back to reality after the twins crashing against each other.

(Haru) HAHA! Not too bad Aki but today is the day we settle this.

(Aki) Correction sister. Over our 689 battles to see whose stronger we still ended up a draw so what’s different?

(Haru) HAW! Because I had a vision that you will fall and me rising to the top!

(Aki) As usual sis... you and wild fantasies that builds your stupid confidence.

Aki smiling like she’s about laugh at Haru.

(Haru) WHAT YOU SAY!? YOU’RE ONE TO TALK AKI, WE’RE BASICALLY THE SAME DESPITE BEING TWINS AND ALL! HOW DARE YOU! IM GONNA SMASH THAT SMILE OFF YOUR PRETTY FACE RIGHT HERE AND NOW!!!!

(Aki) Bring it sis!

Flames engulfed onto Haru as she charges in toward Aki. Aki immediately charges back at her but with ice around her body. Ten covers Ume again for safety as the twins were about to do one final crash but their storms were stop by Hayashi. She looked really different then before. Hayashi had white hair, dark blue skin and eyes of pure fire. She grabs the twins and smacks them both on the heads. Hayashi lectures the twins for almost killing Ten and Ume.

(Hayashi) HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO KEEP TELLING YOU TWO TO DO THIS AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND YOU GUYS ALMOST KILLED YOUR 2 YOUNGER SIBLINGS IN THE PROCESS!

Hayashi smacked the hell out of Aki and Haru on the head as they begin apologizing to the others.

(Aki and Haru) We’re sorry.

The four went back inside the house like nothing happen or just a daily thing. As things went back to normal, Ten sees a cat roaming around but then immediately transforms into IKKI as she was sighing at the twins like a daily routine. Ten was confused with the whole situation as IKKI noticed him beside her.

(IKKI) SIGH~... they’re at it again. Hm. Oh, Ten I didn’t see you there. Look confused huh... about this I mean. Well to put it simple, we’re not called normal to say... extraordinary no not the right word. Um...

She then explains what he was seeing and what they truly are in her own description.

(IKKI) Supernatural is the word. The gist of this is... Hayashi is a Yaksha, Aki is a yuki-onna, Haru is a furaribi, Ume is a witch, Hiroko is a shinigami and I’m a bakeneko. Did you catch all that Ten?

Ten still questions her explanation but nods a yes anyways. IKKI got done with explaining to him of what they are and went back inside. Ten tries to remember what IKKI said to him as he sees Hiroko standing alone in the destroyed field created by the twins. He goes to check on Hiroko if everything was alright with her. She immediately notices Ten approaching her as she tells him to stop.

(Hiroko) Stop... I wouldn’t take another step if I were you.

Confusion from Ten as he look everywhere around the field but then he looks down. A sudden trench appear out of nowhere but it was obviously from the destruction with the twins. Ten steps back as he got shock at the moment from just one more step and it would be death doors. Hiroko looks at Ten with cold eyes like a deep depression of solitude.

(Hiroko) I told you before didn’t I, Ten?...I said be careful from now on. I don’t want my curse to infect you as well so it’s better to keep your distances away from me.

She goes back to the house and Ten starting to understand the whole situation now. Later he went back inside and eats dinner with them.

[It all came clear that day... I wasn’t living under a normal family instead I live under myths who treat me like I’m one of their own. Honestly, it made me happy to have people who cared a lot. I treasured them as they do for me.]

After dinner, Hayashi announces to everyone at the table that they’re going on a special trip tomorrow. The others knew except for Ten and he was of course... curious of what they’re talking about.

(Hayashi) Well guys, get some rest because tomorrow is a special day so get to it.

Everyone went to bed as Ten was thinking about this special day coming tomorrow. Ten immediately falls right to sleep but with a smile in his face.
