《Subordination system》Outside

[logging out of WOW]
From the capsule emerged a man covered sweat. Jason got out, grabbed a towel, and headed straight for the showers. Hygiene was something his mother taught him ever since he was young and just smelling his sweat covered body disgusted him.
It was also night time in reality. But for some reason he wasn't tired maybe because of the adrenaline inducing events that happened that day. After pacing around the house for a bit he decided to go outside for some fresh air.
He put on a black hoody and headed out.
When he got outside a gust of cold wind gushed into his face. Strangely it felt comforting to Jason making him feel alive, he started heading down the street being absorbed into his own thoughts.
He had been busy preparing for the game and didn't really have time to think about anything. Everything was about work and using his time advantage but he never had time to rest. He was originally a shy introvert too ,no, he still was a shy introvert and had trouble communicating. But he was working on it.
Jason was the type to over worry about how others thought about him, and with his very vivid imagination, sometimes his thoughts would go a bit overboard.
Jason continued on the road which lead him past the school. He was now following a large river about 30 yards wide.
Jason continued down the road but was attracted to the riverside. He walked down the steep banks and reached the small shore of the river. It had a bit of sand but was mostly covered grass and small delicate yellow flowers that Jason could barely see.
Jason sat down at the shore being careful to not make any of his clothes dirty and gazed at the river. The current and the never-ending passage of the waters.

Jason didn't say anything, he didn't move a muscle. But he seemed like he was in harmony with the dark shadows and slowly moving riverbank.
Jason gazed at the nature in front of him, sitting here just resting and thinking deeps thoughts was one of the things he did to get rid of stress. His gaze was fixed on the occasional car that passed by or the sudden rustle of the plants next to him.
This was the time where Jason reviewed everything that happened to him. His past, the present, and now his future. He stared at the currents flowed sinking even deeper into thought than before. He wasn't suited to be a leader, he was quiet couldn't express his thoughts well and couldn't read the situation.
Jason kept on looking at himself wondering for what reason he had the subordination system of all things. Heck his other friend Jackson had the potential to change the world with magic and Lize had a system that built on her strength human interaction.
Everyone around him had a goal, his fellow system users wanted to be the best there was. The tall cats wanted to be pro gamers. Jones was on a path of knowledge and now had discovered the power of comradeship. Even his siblings that he left behind in his old world had clear goals.
It was just him, he was a leader without a goal, of course, he needed to be influential and all that but, Jason really didn't desire it. He was willing to do it but it was never going to be his first and foremost passion.
He grinned and laughed at himself
"ha, I'm actually questioning myself huh"
The surrounding place's peacefulness was broken by Jason's words. He stood up ready to head home.
*CRASH*
Jason's head snapped in the direction of the sound his hand was on the wooden sword he had just summoned. He didn't advance (because that would be stupid) but stood in place analyzing all of his surroundings. He didn't see anything on the map which meant the thing or person that made the sound was either out of the maps range or was somehow able to hide from the map's detection.

A few minutes passed and it seemed that the thing or person that made the crashing sound had left, or was not going to do anything to Jason.
Jason with nothing else to do started to head home while keeping a careful eye on his surroundings.
He passed the end of the river and then the school. When he reached the house he could see the lights turned on. When he opened the door he saw Arjuna and Perseus dressed in heavy jackets and holding heavy-duty flashlights. They were planning to look for Jason even when Boops tried to tell them that he was fine.
Both of them when they saw he was safe reacted differently,
Perseus threw his hands up in the air and yelled "I'm so done, going to sleep"
Arjuna asked Jason what happened and where he was and then directly crashed on the sofa in the living room out of sheer exhaustion after making sure that Jason was okay.
Jason also headed to bed closing his eyes while letting out a small smile on his face as he drifted off into dreamland.
