The person who was screaming this time wasn't Jason but Boops
Jason couldn't see Boops as he resided in his subconsciousness but he could tell that the pain was bad. Fortunately, the yelling stopped a few minutes later and Boops calmed down. He said in a breathless voice
'holy frick, that hurt, I didn't think that I would feel the same pain you felt when you get a new skill'
Jason who was extremely worried when Boops was screaming asked Boops
"Boops are you actually okay?"
Boops quickly answered
'Yeah I'm fine, I was just surprised, it's interesting how I didn't feel any pain from the loyalty subsystem but whatever'
"okay if you say so"
Jason started to look through the benefits of the new subsystem the talents were graded in an easy way. Through the letter scale of F-S S being a prodigy and F being a normal person.
With the talent seeking subsystem Jason's shop was updated with all sorts of things that could cultivate talent and make them grow. A good addition to Jason's subordination system.
The attraction aura skill was sent to Arjuna with him knowing of course and he promised that he would use it to its full potential and pay Jason back for his gift.
Jason had rested enough and headed back out to the house. He was tempted to go down the forest path but refrained and set it aside for the next time he went back to the riverbank.
When he got home the sun was already setting so he made some food and went to sleep.

Jones watched as the last rabbit in front of him sizzled on the ground. He had just finished testing out his new skills after getting through the mage training center.

Jones had realized the trial for the training center was meant for people who were at least level 10 and that the first few levels of the game were meant for the players to train the basics without relying on their skills.
The mage training test did not require strength or brawn since a mage's best weapon would be his knowledge and Jones passed the test with flying colors while the rest of the mage candidates had to level up and put their stat points into intelligence. The skills that Jones had gotten were fireball, chanting speed, and wind blade.
[fireball level 1: shoots a fireball]
[active skill: 30 mana]
[chanting speed level 1: faster-chanting speed]
[passive: no cooldown]
[windblade: shoots a blade of wind]
[active skill:20 mana]
Jones was at level 3 already due to the smart usage of his skills and he decided to return back to the starting village to turn in some of his rabbit fur for a quest reward.
He walked past the field of rabbits that were being swarmed by players and entered the village. Jones walked to one of the merchants who had given him the quest. Jones had taken multiple quests from the NPC already so the NPC greeted Jones with a smile
"Hello, dear benefactor do you need anything?"
Jones responded with the same politeness he was given
"yes sir, I have come to deliver the rabbit fur you have requested"
"Ah yes thank you you are very kind, here is your reward"
[quest complete]
[+5 bronze coins +50 EXP +1 affinity with George the merchant]
Jones was about to ask for more quests when a familiar voice came from behind him
"Hey George, its been a while, I have the stuff you want"
George the merchant turned to the owner of the voice and let our a smile that was never shown to Jones it was a smile of delight almost like he was looking at his long time friend who had come home from war.

Jones turned around mildly infuriated but stopped when he saw the person talking to George so informally
It was Najimi, the Najimi who was nicknamed the social monster by Jason and the rest, the master of communication, Najimi. He was dressed in a thief's garb and had two daggers hanging his belt.
Najimi quickly finished talking to George while getting a quest that gave his 2 times more EXP then Jones's quest. He turned to Jones and his face brightened
"Jones! it been a while how have you been?"
Jones sighed and didn't say anything since he knew what was going to happen next
"How was the break? How's your cat? How's your sister? What did you think about the funny video I sent you? It's funny how you said this game wasn't going to be good, How bout Jason and the rest have you heard from them? Oh! you're a mage I'm a thief we should become a party! yeah, let's do that! come on I just got a good quest follow me I know a good hunting spot!"
After rattling off a few sentences Najimi grabbed Jones by the arm and dragged him out of the small shop after saying goodbye to George the merchant.
Jones just let himself be dragged as he had gotten used to Najimi's spontaneous actions by now.
From the outside people saw a cheerful boy dragging an emotionless black-haired kid around the village chatting endlessly.
Eventually, they headed out to the forest and started hunting rabbits together. They didn't even have to look for any of them they were just naturally attracted to Najimi's endless chatter and noise. It took all Jones had to fight off the seemingly endless hoard of rabbits. When it seemed like they were about to be overrun in a desperate attempt Jones grabbed a large leaf from a tree branch and stuffed it into Najimi's mouth effectively sealing his mouth for a bit letting Jones wipe out the rest of the normal rabbits in the vicinity.
Najimi then ripped out the leaf and continued talking making even more rabbits attack them. Luck from the gods must have blessed them as no rabbit guards came to investigate them. And when Najimi started to fight while talking their levels started to skyrocket.
