《Beyond The Worlds[BTW]》Ch 39: Renovated home and digital media

Shin spent some time negotiating the value of R&T, but it worked out in the end.
"Master, what will you do now?" Haze asked.
"I'm going to start making digital media apps." Digital media in Shin's world wasn't very advanced yet, so he decided to take his first step.
"Master, you better start your game business as soon as possible." Shin's games could make a lot of money, so she figured he needed to start a game company as soon as possible.
"Don't worry, I'll do it later." Shin was in no hurry.
"Master, you are appearing on various news channels right now." Haze commented.
"Haha, it feels weird in a way." Shin had never received so much attention before.
"The house will be ready today, so I'll take a look." Akira was going home tomorrow, so he decided to do some setup around the house.
-
Akira was sitting on the couch with Aka beside her. They had become very close and were friends now.
"Your house will be ready tomorrow. Can I visit you?" Aka asked.
"Fine; however, I need to talk to my brother first." Akira replied.
"Good." Aka was already going into withdrawal due to lack of tapping, so she decided to visit Shin as soon as possible. Akira took the remote and turned on the television; however, the news so shocked her that she nearly spilled most of her drink on the floor.
"W-What?!" Akira looked at the photo of her brother that was on the cover of the news.
"Young man makes 500 million dollars in a single day." That was the headline of the news.
"Your brother is awesome too." Aka commented with a smile.
Akira puffed out her cheeks and said, "Of course he is!" Even though she was shocked at first, she already knew her brother was pretty amazing.

"I'm looking forward to seeing you." Aka said.
"You…" Akira was a little on her guard when she heard Aka's words. She thought she should be more careful with this girl.
-
"It's a good makeover." Shin looked at his house. Shin's house had grown a lot in size, but it wasn't terribly big.
'It just needs to be comfortable.' He had increased the number and size of bedrooms, bathrooms, halls, and so on.
"It's a beautiful house, master." Even though Shin's house was not a mansion, it was extremely beautiful.
"I'll set up the magical arrays of protection." Shin used his mana and created wards around and inside the house. He also set up matrices that conveyed a sense of well-being.
"Master, magic is really useful." Haze commented.
"How about you learn after you gain a body?" Shin asked curiously.
"That would be interesting, master; however, your decision could harm you. You should act more carefully, master." Haze said. Shin had no control over her, so if she learned magic, she might try to rebel against Shin. Haze acted only on logic and calculations, so she was just giving advice.
"You will not betray me." Shin said.
"Master, how can you be so sure of this?"
Shin just smiled and didn't answer her question.
"I have finished." Shin finished setting up the arrays.
"Master, you've done enough protection." Haze commented.
"Not even atomic bombs are going to destroy this place. The house also has matrix defenses against invaders."
"Master, even if it doesn't look like it, you are a very protective brother."
"Well, it's the least I can do for her." Shin said with a smile.
"I'll build the first app for us to publish later."

"Master, is it done?" Haze asked.
"I'm done. We can post our first app; however, I want to start a company before that." Shin decided to create his own company solely focused on social media.
"Can you handle this, Haze?"
"Immediately." Haze went to fulfill his request.
'it's much easier to get things done when you have an artificial intelligence that can control the world'
-
Shin went back to his dorm. He was going to open his Social Media company tomorrow, so he was thinking of a name.
"Sky-Media." Shin would make several apps, so he would have to use a broad name. He could also create branches for games, movies, etc.
"Sky" would be the key word for his companies.
"Master, tomorrow you will pick up your sister from school, so go to sleep." Haze said.
"Okay, okay. Good night, Haze."
"Good night, master."
-
Hisoka was looking at the current news with a thoughtful expression. He didn't think much about the newcomer who had come to school; however, it looked like he had to be careful with it.
'He can team up with those twins…' Hisoka knew that Shin didn't like the Student Council members, so he didn't even try to invite him; however, Hisoka felt that Shin could team up with the twins in exchange for some benefits.
"Maybe it's better to take care of him now."

The Legend of Rayola the Deathless [Dead]
[This story is Discontinued] Another story based on the lore, which has been expanded and with far more details and hopefully better writing shall be released later on. To top it all off, she has no memory of who she is and there's an incredibly suspiscious, snarky voice in her head making quips about her life choices. Even worse was the inability to sleep. At first, she thought that maybe she was just an overly messed up zombie or even a vampire! But she was proven wrong time and time agian... there were too many inconsistencies and it made her uneasy. The final straw was the issue with her own identity. At first she was okay with being her own brand-new person, but as more and more ghosts of her past started to slowly catch up, she had no choice but to set off on a journey... A journey to discover who she once was, and to find out what had happened to her. It was for no noble cause but merely one for personal salvation. Yet, her actions left behind a legend in her wake.

Savage Hunters
Giant monsters roam the land Civilization is frozen in a savage age. For the beast slayer Alden, power and survival are one and the same. The ancient evil that once ravaged his village and murdered his ancestors has returned. At the same time, politics hurls Alden and his crew into gladiator pit battles for control of the throne. When Alden takes possession of a cursed sword promising untold power, the hunter is determined to save his people by slaying every giant monster standing between him and the throne. But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.

Voidsong (A NaNoWriMo 2018 winner)
Synopsys: The Empire thought humanity died, and forgot all about it. The Empire is mistaken. A Note From the Author: This story was written as a National Novel Writing Month 2018 entrant. As such, its entire 50,000+ word length was written between November 1, 2018 and November 31, 2018. Overall, I would consider this no more than a polished draft. In that vein, the chapters have no names, only numbers. Special thanks to Chronus on youtube for answering my questions on NATO radio procedures! My Apologies to the Finnish Language, which I have abused in (probably) unforgivable ways to create Twisted Empire names. If anyone is interested, break the names up by commas and toss them into your favorite translation program (I used Google Translate, and tried to avoid umlauts and other accents) for some semi bilingual boni. If I got something wrong (and I know I did… somewhere…) let me know over on reddit and I will see what I can do to fix the mistake. Lyrics, where included, are cited in footnotes.
