4 Days after the explosion - Pub

The prince got near Guisu's table and when the prince was near him, he tap his shoulder to grab his attention

"Are you guisu?"(prince)

"Who is asking"(Guisu?) a little wary

"A friend of the old man"(prince)

"Are you really?"(Guisu?) still wary

"you know that if I say that and the old man found out I was lying and using his name he would kill me"(prince)

"Fine, I am guisu"(guisu)

"Can i sit"(prince)put 5 gold coins on the table

"Sure"(guisu) signal a chair for him to sit

"So, what do you want"(Guisu)

The prince thought really hard on how to approach this question, and decided to play the fool, it turns out he was even better than he thought at it.

"I went to the old man and found out really rare materials being sold at a cheap price (meaning they were stolen of course) so I asked if it was possible to "get" more and he said he didn't know. Since I was afraid someone else may steal the opportunity to found this and maybe even more rare materials, I persuade him to give me his sellers name, meaning you"(Prince)Lied

"Why the extreme interest in this stuff?"(Guisu) really wary, looking around and with a look like he was ready to run at any moment

"Simple, I an alchemist and one of the main providers of the old man, specially the sleeping powder. That stuff would help me a lot on my researches"

"It's that true?"(guisu) a little more relaxed but still wary

"Yep, that's why I wanted to know if it was possible to get more or if you had more stuff that you still haven't sold"(Prince)keep the lies rolling

"Sorry, even if you know the old man,i don't want to get involved with that stuff"(Guisu)

"Why not"(prince) putting 5 more gold coins on the table

"I don't want to say it"(guisu)looking at the gold coins a little

"Please"(prince) adding 10 more

"You are getting really persistent for just a couple of materials you know"(Guisu) a little more wary but still looking at the gold coins

"They were really rare and useful materials, I would be a fool if I don't try at least this hard"(prince) looking determinate and adding 10 more g coins

Guisu looked at the coins, then at the prince then close his eyes and thought for a second. After thinking for a while, he open them again and look at the prince.

"Look if you pay me a 100g plus what it's on the table, I can tell you how I got them, but I keep the money even if you don't like the anser,ok?"(Guisu)

"sure, 50 now and 50 more if you are not lying"(prince)out 50g on the table

"I found them hidden all over town by chance"(guisu)

"That didn't anser the question, how did you know it was there?"(prince)keeping the extra 50g

"It was by chance, didn't I just say so?"(guisu) a little worried

"You also said all over town, are you telling me you found it by chance multiple times?"(prince) pressing the matter

"ehh"(guisu)getting more nervous by the second

"What are you afraid of, tell me!?"(prince) Not letting him time to think

"I can't!!"(guisu) almost screaming

"WHY NOT!!"(prince)Yelling and punching the table

"THEY WILL KILL ME LIKE THE GIRL!!!"(Guisu)compleatly white and trying to pull away from the table

The prince was shock by the statement and call down for a second. Since the tavern was pretty loud and they were in a corner, no one paid attention to them, but the prince didn't want to cause a disturbance and grab their attention so he put the 50g on the table and took another 100g and show it to guisu

"calm down and tell me every thing from the start"(prince)

It look like the prince was throwing away money like water, but for most people, even 1 gold coin was a lot of money. A normal person could only got that amount after working for a month. That is why every time the prince keeps increasing the amount, guisu coudn't just give it up, even if it was dangerous for him

"fine, I will tell you every thing but only if you promise to give me all the gold on the table plus those 100g in the end"(guisu) greed won over his caution in the end

"I promise"(prince)glad that he finally was getting to the good part

Guisu POV

The day the explosion in the temple happen, It was around midnight when i saw a young maid with a big bag walking around. I Found it suspicious so I got close to her without her noticing and I follow her. She went into a deserted house so I went around and enter the house through a window. I found her in what it should have being the living room moving around and really nervous. I found a good hiding spot and waited to see what was she doing there

Half an hour later, 3 bald guys arrived and for the look on her face, I notice she was expecting them, but she still was nervous.

"Where you follow?"(bald A) He had a scar on his left eye and looked like the leader of the grup

"Of course not, I was really careful"(Maid)Acting a little offended, but still nervous

"Are you alone?"(bald A)Showing no emotion like he didn't give a sh*t

"You told me to come alone so i came alone"(maid)

"Did you bring the stuff and without drawing attention?"(leader?)

"Yes, I went through the hole in the wall like they told me and took the papers and everything that looked valuable in this bag. I gave the bag to the guard they told me and he gave it back when I talk to him later outside. I can I get the money now?"(Maid)

"Snake pay the woman"(leader?)

One of the bald guys, probably snake, got close to the maid and in a flash he cut her throat. The poor girl put a hand in her throat with an expression of disbelief and fall to the ground dead.

The leader grab the bag from the dead maid and started to look inside. He took what it looked like some papers and some items and he put them in a smaller bag. He handed the big bag to the other bald guy

"Rat,clean the blood and dispose of this items around town and burn the bag. Snake dispose of the girl body. We will reunite with the other team in the hideout and leave town tomorrow"(Leader)

"Yes sir"(snake and rat)salute the leader

The team leader left first, snake put the body in a big bag and lift it like it was nothing. After the leader gave him the ok signal, he went outside. Rat stayed to clean up the blood and went he finish, he grabbed the bag and left.

I follow after him(after giving the poor girl a small pry) and shadow him really careful around town. He always make shure no one was around when he left an item in a hidden place and then keep going. I memorize each hidden place and when he finish, i went to each one and grabbed the items.

The prince was really shock about all that happen, it didn't anser who was behind it but it showed that it was someone powerful and with resources. Besides if he looked around the maid and the guard he may find something. He also wanted to check that "hole" in the wall.

"Thank you for the information, I guess I wont be getting more items it seems"(prince) handing him the last 100g he promise

"Yeah, sorry about that, but as you can see, you don't want to mess with those guys"(Guisu)

"I can see that, you should also be carefull to who you tel that story, this guys look connected"(prince)

"Don't worry, i can tell who is good and who isn't, and you don't have a killer look"(Guisu)

"Still, be carefull, if you end up dead the old man may blame me"(prince) a little worry someone may killl him later to shut him up

"No problem, whit the money I got for this, I can easily lay low for a year, so i will take it easy for a while"(guisu)

"Good luck then"(prince)

The prince said his good bye to the thief and decided to pay a visit to the old man before returning to the castle. If one of the bad guys find out he was selling the stolen stuff, he may end up dead.

Note: The only reason the thief's had that much money in the side story is because those nobles didn't know the value of money(and they did manage to steal a couple of coins from them)
