6 days after the explosion – The palace
Arias mood had improved since she had being made a slave by the "cheating" prince. At the beginning she was in a state of utter shock since not only was she beaten twice by the greatest failure of the royal family, something impossible to accept as someone who searched for the greatest level of strength.
It was like being a championship chess player and being suddenly beaten by a beginner 10 years old that never played before. And because of that, for the safety of her sanity, she brainwashed herself into believing that the prince only won because he cheated(it also helped that she was a muscle brain idiot)
Her becoming his slave also didn't help to her mood, since not only have she being beaten by a cheater, she now was force to become his slave for an unknown amount of time and she couldn't relay in anyone to get her out of it. It was thanks to his fiancé that constantly beat him and his cute niece that was a joy to spent time with that she could bear the job. As for Susan, it helped to have another person to shear the burden of guarding the cheater, but since Susan didn't say much, Aria didn't pay much attention to her.
When she was order to become the prince body guard, the general gave her specific instructions to not only make sure that the prince was safe, but to also to tell him of any suspicious activities that happen around him, since he wanted to know if someone was plotting against him preferable before they acted. Sadly, Aria wasn't skillful in reading people or dealing with the common back stabbing of the noble world, since all she did was train all day and night with out interacting with the politics of the noble world.

In the end, on her 4 day of work as a bodyguard she was already skipping. So far she didn't see any suspicious activities or danger to the prince life, so when she heard that the prince was going to spend all day going around the mansion for a routine investigation, she chose to spend her time training instead of pointlessly follow him around a complete safe place when he already had a body guard following him.
Of course she asked the prince if she could go train instead of demanding it since she still knew it wasn't really up to her if the prince insisted, but since the prince didn't care, he allow her to skip work. She went away before the prince change his mind and started her normal training.
Even at the start of her body guard job, she did her regular training every day to keep her sense sharp and to not dull her skills, but since she needed to guard the prince, she didn't have the time to further develop her own ability, something she would try to do every second of free time she had.
Late in the evening when she was taking a break she heard a commotion starting. Aria saw through a window that some guards were chasing after one guard around the palace, and since she thought it was strange, she chose to follow them and see what was going on.
She jumped from the window and started to follow them. Since she wasn't to far behind one of the slower guards, she manage to catch up to him and ask
"Whats going on?"(Aria)talking while running
"He stabbed the prince fiancé on the heart and we are trying to catch him before he run away"(guard) A little surprised for the sudden appearance but still answering

Aria was shock at the sudden information and after processing it, she got really mad at the guy and started to sprint at full speed. She forgot to ask if she was ok, but right now in her mind was to catch the guy that hurt or even kill one of the few people who treated her nicely here.
The speed of her sprint was inhuman, even for a warrior, but if you consider she was an expert, with years of constant training and in a mad rage, it was understandable. Still, all the guards that saw her run were stun for a second not only for her speed, but the crazy eye she was giving(they even felt fear down their spine and send a small pry for the poor soul that piss her off)
The criminal was near the gate when he heard the noise Aria sprint was making and when he turned his head and saw a demons running at full speed in his direction, he use all his inner mana to go at his maximum speed, even if he wouldn't be able to move after 10 minutes.
He did manage to slip up the guards at the gate and reach the city, but the demon was right behind him so he did his best to slip in to the crowd. sadly for him, Aria jumped to a building and as soon as she saw him, she jumped again and landed in front of him. Before he could do something she just kick him in the b*ll, killing all his future descendants for eternity and beyond....
Aria didn't want to kill him yet, she wanted to make sure he suffered for what he did, and they probably needed to ask him a couple of questions, so she broke both his legs and started to carry him back to the castle by grabbing the back of his neck and dragging him thought the ground.
Every one around her was utterly shock of her brutality, but no one dare to say a word and even moving aside to let her pass.
She carry the criminal all the way back and handed him to some guards so they can do whatever they need to do with him. The guards were a little afraid of her, but took the criminal gladly, well at least they did until he took a look at him. One of them kept looking at the body while the otehr went to talk to aria
"Did you had to be so rough on him?"(Guard b)
"HE STABBED ELENA, I SAY HE GOT AWAY WITH TOO LITTLE"(Aria) While glaring at him
"Sorry sorry, it was just a comment"(guard b)afraid of her rage, especially after what he saw her do
"-sigh- after what he did, he can't complain for that level of injury"(Aria)shurgging but still glaring at the guard
"Still, It would have being better if you catch him alive at least"(Guard b) shaking his head in disapointment
"WHAT!!!"(Aria) Couldn't belive what she just heard
She moed aside the guard and went to take a closer inspection at the body. The guard inspecting the body also moved to let her have a look and she found out that his throat had being cut and his face was purple, meaning that even posing had being applied. Someone really wanted this guy dead.

Haven in a Dangerous World (Old)
Devin McMullen. Female. 18. Single dad. Dead mom. Good in fights and little else. No friends. Or, at least, that's what she's always been. Now, she's not sure exactly what she is. She's never been one for reading fiction, or anything for that matter, but this feels like something straight out of a fantasy. Her newly acquired instincts, however, scream dungeon core. Whatever that is. Unlike most dungeon cores, though, she's missing something very important. A dungeon. Stuck out in the open, above ground where she's definitely not supposed to be, with not a cave in sight, or any other land form besides miles and miles of ice and snow, Devin's not sure if she can survive. Update: Big caveate, though, just so you know. Started with this one idea and ran with it as far as I could. Characters and plot suffer from it, but I'm proud that I wrote as much as I did. I will rewrite this at some point and make it so it actually has plot. Check out my wordpress © [koallary] and [Haven in a Dangerous World], [2017]. Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?
