Day 0 - city

I didn't really get it, but in the end, we got taken to the barracks after Liza talked with the guards a little bit. Good, because I was worried they would all attack me at the same time after bringing the dragon to town like it was nothing

They asked me to take the dragon there, and after leaving it at the designated spot, some soldiers took me to a room where some guy asked a lot of questions

I can even say I spend more time answering questions about what happened than the time I spend doing the stuff I was asked about

Hell, more than half my memories are answering questions of the other half

When will this end!!??

Day 1 - Hotel room

No more interrogations, please!!

I was finally released at midnight and barely managed to get a room after getting some money from Liza

They said that if they had more questions, they will come looking for us, so we can't leave town for a couple of days....

And by us I mean me Liza and Zodiac the dwarf

Met the guy in the barracks, but it turned out he was one of the guys on Liza's group, and the only survivor, besides her of course

And, to be honest, I don't know if they are in good terms or bad terms

Basically, every time I saw them in the barracks, they were fighting about how much of the profit each deserved

By the way, they were even discussing my share, even without my consent

Not like I cared. Money would be good, but it isn't my greatest concern right now, and if I tried to ask for a reward or sell the dragon, I am sure I will get scammed since I don't know the marked price, or how to do it properly

They are even discussing it while we are having breakfast together

"I say 20 20 30 30 is pretty fair" (zodiac)

"For what? Running away and getting eaten? I say 5 5 for each is pretty good deal, and I am only offering because I feel generous"(Liza)

The discussion on how to deal with the original investigation request went pretty fast, and it ended four ways including me, this two and a widow from one of the group. Since the last guy in the party of four didn't have a family, he didn't get anything

As for why it ended like that, I get why they gave one part to the widow, but I have no idea why I got some of it

And how long are you guys going to keep doing this!?

"5 5 45 45 with some meat if you want"(Liza)

Why do I get the feeling they are going to keep at it for a looong time now

Day 2 - widows house

It ended 10 10 40 40, so after getting the reward from the finding and killing of the dragon, we went to the widow's house the next day to give her the dead guy share of the reward and a better explanation of what happened

A Nice woman I must say, she didn't blame us for his death and was even thanks full for getting so much gold. We even told her that it was still missing the share from selling the dragons parts

I also offered to give her his husband helmet(that I was wearing because of my red skin) but she say it was better for me to have it, since I needed it more, and as a thanks for killing the dragon that took her husband

So all in all, it ended up pretty well in my opinion

Day 5 - guild

Finally, I can get out-of-town. The barracks send a message saying I wasn't needed for questioning anymore so I finally could move freely

Not like I have a place to go or a clue to where I came from, but it was good to know I could leave if I wanted too

And I finally could do guild request

Since I was bored, I registered as a warrior under the name of ned at the guild, but I couldn't leave town so I couldn't do a request

But I now can! yay! :)

Sadly, I can only do lower rank request. Even though I have shown my strength, a rank is more than just strength, but also the trust the guild had on you. Still, since I did a service to the town, I went to D rank instantly, with a few extra points. So basically, I only needed to do a few request, and they would give me C-rank

After there, it was the standard, but it was still pretty good treatment

If I have to complain a little, it is the ID card. I mean, I was expecting something metallic with my name on it or something, but it was a simple piece of paper that said D-rank, with my and someone from the guild sign

They also explained to me the rules, but they were pretty standard. Basically, don't get caught doing Illegal things, complete the request properly and don't cause problems

I am a little worry on the don't get caught instead of don't do it, but I won't pry

Anyway, I decided to do a little goblins subjugation since it is easy and it would help me increase my rank. Liza and Zodiac even said they would give me a hand since they didn't have to worry about money for a while and wanted to help me as thanks for everything I did

Since I didn't know who I was, and for the complaints they constantly did, I lacked common sense, so I was glad for their help

Day 15 - guild

B-rank baby!

Wasn't easy. 200 goblins, 16 ogres, 50 wolfs, a griffon, some monsters I don't even know the name, and does the dragon count? I guess it does since it took me to D-rank

Well, the hardest part wasn't killing the monsters but watching my companions reactions. I mean, I already got yelled a lot after jumping into a goblins den and killed everything inside. Liza got mad at me when I told her that the goblins attack was so weak, it didn't matter how many they were

Was she worry about my safety?

When I said the same thing with the ogres and the wolf, she also got mad at me, but I think she gave up when the griffon came up

She was even cheering for the griffon and hoping that I at least bleed a little

As for Zodiac, he was laughing his a-s off every time he saw me fight or heard my tales

Come on! I am not that weird, right?

I hope not

Day 20 - another city

We moved to a different city since they weren't any more interesting request. Besides, I wanted to find out if someone knew me or had any information about me and checking different places increased the odds

Well, having a completely red body didn't help (or wearing a helmet to hide it). When I asked at the guild or bars, no one seemed to know or be looking for someone with my description

Being a tall hairless warrior should be pretty rare, so the only reason I can think no one is looking for me is that they either think I am dead or nobody cares :(

Well, there is also the option that I wasn't hairless, and I lost it somewhere, but even with hair, there is no one looking for someone with a description similar to mine

The only exception would be the first or third prince, but there is no way I am either. Besides, my first memory was the same day of the explosion and was around 1000 km away from there. So there is no way anyone could travel that much distance that fast

And even if I could, the odds of me been the prince are almost null. Think about it, how could a delicate and pampered prince blow a dragon's head off with a punch?

Day 45 - a city's guild

We have been going all around the place while taking missions and searching for clues about my past. One went great and the other not

If I say I am already Rank A, I hope I don't have to explain which went well and which didn't

Well, the missions went well, but I fell something is wrong in my party. Is is normal to bet before doing missions?

I mean, every time we reach a new time, Liza and Zodiac make bets on how fast we can fulfill a request, with everyone in the guild saying "no way" and accepting the bet

The problem is, we really do it and they say it is impossible and want a rematch saying we cheated. Then, we do it again, and again, until they follow us and then they act like they saw something unbelievable and gave up

Then we move to a new town and repeat

I feel like there is something wrong in the process, but I am not sure what it is. Is it that weird?

There is also the problem that they act completely carefree, and cheer for the enemy while leaving all the hard work to me

Shouldn't they act a little more professional? I am a noob so it is understandable that I lack tension or fear, but they act like nothing could go wrong. why must the noob be the one that worries!!!????

And to make it worst, the two of then always manage to put me in the most unreasonable situations and bet how fast I can get out of them......

I can't complain about the money or their skills, but can't they treat me a little nicer?

If I have to explain how a mission normally goes, it would be something like this

First, Zodiac and Liza gathers information of the different request and how to fulfill them. Then they chose one and bet with the other guild mates. We follow Zodiac to the quest area, then we follow Liza with her nose, so she can guide us to the pray, and then I kill it. Zodiac then collects the parts and then we go back to collect the reward and bets

Then repeat

The only variations are when they sometimes take unreasonable request or found a prey in an unreasonable place, and force me to do it anyways while doing bets on the side

Since they do most of the legwork, I don't complain that we split the reward 3 ways, but can't they at least don't make my part more difficult!?

I can even see an evil smile while they talk with the guild representative about the next mission

"Hey sleepy head, we found a new request?"(Liza)

Yeah yeah, Why do I get the feeling I am not going to like it?

"What is it this time? another dragon, 2 griffons, or something new like a hydra?"(me)

"Nononono, it is something especial this time. Since we have got quite a bit of reputation, we got a nice deal in the next request"(Liza)

"So? what is it?"(me)

"We were hired as mercenaries, so we are going to war!"(Liza) said with a smile

See!!?? they are nuts!!!!!

Don't act so carefree with something like that!!!!!
