《Ghost Girl, Ghost Girl. She Gonna Take Your Soul!》Chapter 11: A wild --- appeared!

Ghost Girl was heading towards Chara’a apartment about mass killings. If they were some desperate ghosts for souls, wouldn’t there be some rampages of killer ghosts? She wondered if that was possible, there’s like a prison of black souls laying outside of her town.
Ghost Girl had only 3 CS and she be damned working here for meager pay. She was walking through a park as a shortcut to the other side of town. She was near the midsection of the park where a large fountain laid and she froze with only her heel on the ground.
She stared wide eyed at something sitting on a bench.
White, fluffy pair of wings. Golden Halo. Blue hair and eyes. Regular clothing? Brown slacks, black sandals, and a white, short sleeve V-shirt. The V was kinda low that you can see her cleavage!
Ghost Girl zoomed behind a tree and watched the ‘angel’ like a creeper, no a stalker, no an observer of a strange animal.
There were other passerby that didn’t care about her. Was she the crazy one that was freaking out? Are other people blind? Or maybe it’s a fake angel? Chara said you can change your appearance to anything. But the golden halo that shines like the sun… You can’t fake that. Or was this an illusion?
Shit! Ghost Ghost was confused. This could be her only chance to capture and study it, uh… talking to one. Nothing like the present! Ghost Girl gathered up the courage to walk towards the angel and sat in the empty spot on the same bench.
The angel was continuing reading her book and sipping coffee. Ghost Girl kept stealing glances at the angel’s direction.
“What do you want ghost?” A smooth, clear voice came out of the angel’s mouth. Even though there was a hint of annoyance.

“Uh, who? Me? You know just trying to relax and wow! It’s hot isn’t it?” Ghost Girl wiped her non-existent sweat off her forehead and her insides were chaotic. That’s such a lame excuse ME!
Ghost Girl twirled the end of hair with her right index finger. She laid her back and stretched her arms, trying to act cool as a cucumber.
The angel finally turned her head to look at Ghost Girl and she had a model’s face with an icy expression.
The angel sighed and said, “If you have any questions, speak now.” The angel closed her book and put it in her shoulder bag and took another sip of her coffee.
Ghost Girl straighten her back and grasped the angel’s free hand, not letting her go. The angel was quite taken back from this lunatic.
“Are you a real angel?”
“Yes.”
“Is that your natural hair color and eyes?”
“No.”
“Are you under orders of a god or something?”
“No.”
“How can I become an angel?”
That was the question that many ghosts sought after. The information on how to be one had always been aloof to many, coming up with insane methods. Sacrificing the innocents, killing a 1000 demons, or reach the edges this realm and pray.
Actually, the answer could be easily found at the government building that centered in the city of apartment complex. The real reason there was not a lot of angels was because the fatality rate was high! Ghost Girl will soon find out.
The angel sighed and sent a shock through Ghost Girls hand.
“Ow! What gives?” Ghost Girl rubbed her hands at each other.
“You sure you want to know.” The angel gave a solemn look.
Ghost Girl replied with a nod.

The angel sighed again and spoke. “Have you ever taken any souls besides black?”
Ghost Girl shook her side to side.
“Step one passed.” The angel crossed her legs.
Ghost Girl was grateful that she killed people that was most likely black! Even if there was a person who was grey, would she kill him/her? If she were to kill those students who defiled her shrine at school, did that act warrant a black or grey soul? Thank goodness she wasn’t a deranged killer!
The angel continued on.
The reason why there wasn’t an angel option on the board along with demons and devils was because it didn’t need souls to become one. You need to pass series of tasks and a trail.
1. Do not kill people who didn’t possess a black soul.
2. Help a soul or ghost to pass on peacefully (you can’t buy it from the store).
3. Help a mortal with a problem.
So far, so good. Ghost Girl thought she had to climb a mountain or something. But, the next words from the angel stopped her thoughts and flipped it down off a cliff.
“Finally… You go to the world of Felmos. A world of smoke and fire. There is a pillar of fire called Yula xo Pufi. You toss yourself in it and be burned to cinders. Think of it as a cleansing of sorts and you will be reborn.”
Ghost Girl shivered. “Will it hurt?”
“Yes, very much. Forget about the beasts and demons that dwelled in Felmos and the possibility of being tortured for centuries or devoured. The fire will turn you into ashes bit by bit. It may take hours or days, depending on the person.”
“Uggghhhhhh… Is there any benefits to being an angel?”
“Other than being able to join the living in physical form, you can also perform small miracles. But there’s always a cost to everything. Look at me.”
Ghost Girl saw that she was beautiful but taking a look into her eyes, they were hollow.
“Do you know how many years that. I. Exist?” The angel said in a monotone voice.
Ghost Girl didn’t respond and the angel leaved on her own accord, in silence.
Just only a few feet away, she spoke without turning her head. “Think carefully on what you want. There’s always time.”

Remorse
I have killed many people over my long life. Men, women, children. None have escaped the shadows that I control. It was only one tiny mistake that I made that changed my life forever. I underestimated her, and I would pay for my hubris. “For every death you have given, you will feel their pain.” What? “For every person you have killed, you will feel regret.” Wait, wait… “For every murder you have commited, you will know what you have done.” I don’t think this is going to be pretty. The power leaves her voice as she continues in a softer tone. “I will give you back what you have lost, you will feel empathy again.” Her power releases me and I fall to the ground. Diana. That was her name. I will remember it. ******** This story starts out somewhat dark, but it will lighten up after the first chapter. I tend to not enjoy the psychological tag too much since stories with the tag tend to be a little insane for my liking, but I feel that I would be remiss not putting it on this story, since a lot of it is about the psychology of the main character. All the content warnings are checked since I want to leave my options open to me for the future. I hope you enjoy.
