《Wish-Fulfilling System》Chapter 11: Orphan House and Promiscuous Woman

Antonio: “What was your name again?”
Lian: “Oh, haha! I totally forgot to mention it. You can call me Diego.”
Antonio: “No problem! It’s nice to meet you Diego. I’m just going to get you set-up in a room, then I’ll give you a tour of the place.”
After walking upstairs, they reached a small room; large enough to fit a pillow and some covers, and leave a little bit of moving space.
Antonio: “I know that you’re a city guy but this is honestly one of the bigger rooms that could be found in the house. Hopefully, this doesn’t bother you.”
Lian appreciated Antonio’s kindness. He also felt guilty for not being as grateful for his already amazing situation back at home.
Lian: “No, no what are you saying! This is perfect!”
After exchanging a few pleasantries, and with Lian pretending to care about the location of the shared washroom area, they started having a more detailed conversation.
Apparently, this house belonged to either orphans or adults who lived on their own. As such, even though it wasn’t completely the case, people named it the “Orphan House”.
All of the residents were male and most of them were in their early 20s to late 30s. Antonio was in his late 20s and he happened to be living away from home. Lian decided not to probe too much.
Afterwards, Antonio began introducing Lian to his roommates.
Antonio: “This guy over here is called 3-balls. Believe it or not, he was actually born with a third testicle! And this guy…”
“What the fuck are these introductions? I can’t lie though, they’re quite funny…”
Lian introduced himself to the residents and continued touring the house.
Besides the kitchen which was an open space, all floors including the basement and upstairs were cramped with rooms and hallways.

During the introductions in the basement, one of the residents named Francisco gave him a dirty look and completely ignored him.
Antonio: “Don’t bother with him. He just hates guys from the city!”
Lian rolled his eyes.
“Is this supposed to be the start of some shitty conflict? Fuck!”
After exploring the house, Antonio led Lian to tour the rest of the farm. They first explored the barn and tree area along the way; followed by some of the storage facilities.
Inside, some rooms could be found for storing fruits and vegetables. Trucks would regularly transport this food to the city. A few large silos were also close-by; in charge of holding large quantities of rice grains.
Parked beside were a few trucks, a plethora of varying tractors, along with combine harvesters and a few other vehicles. From his skill, Lian had some general knowledge on how to manage these machines but knew that his level was still a bit low to put them to their best use.
Passing by a storage room filled with gardening tools, Lian noticed a mature-looking woman writing down some information onto a clip-board. She was a beautiful, slightly tan, and curvaceous brunette with sunglasses, jeans, and a short shirt stopping at her belly button.
Detecting his sneaky gaze, she giggled then continued writing.
Antonio: “That lady over there is called Catalina Fernanda. She’s in charge of management and inventory and tends to move back and forth from the city.”
Antonio: “If you have any thoughts, it’s best that you let them go right now. We say that she’s the type we can look at but can never touch. She’s actually known around the area to be a bit promiscuous, but she only gets with men from the city…”
Antonio: “…But then again you’re not from here, so who knows, you might have a chance…”

Continuing to casually tease Lian, they continued along the fields. Lian appreciated beauty, but he didn’t care for now because he was too focused on exp.
Regardless, due to past experiences and a slightly skewed mentality in terms of relationships, for a long time it would probably be difficult for him to develop a real emotional attachment to a woman.
Besides, his first sexual experience with women left a bitter taste in his mouth. Maybe once the quest over, he would make a move before leaving to help him get over it.
Once they arrived at the vegetable fields, Lian received a new notification. He had been given a new task. Not showing any change expression, he continued the tour until they returned to the house.
Only around two hours had passed since they left, and it was still around 11 in the morning.
Antonio: “Alright Diego! Hopefully, this tour gave you a better idea of what the farm is like and how everything works around here.”
Antonio: “I’m heading to the fields to work, so feel free to have today off and just make sure to sleep early tonight in light of the long days ahead. Any last questions before I leave?”
Lian: “Yeah… if you don’t mind, would it be cool if I headed over to the vegetable fields? I actually have some experience working in that field and I’d like to get some fresh air.”
Antonio: “Uhhh…yeah that’s no problem! Just make sure to ask around if you get lost and try not to disturb people too much.”
Lian patted his chest and assured to cause no trouble. Once Antonio left, instead of heading over to kitchen, Lian pulled a water bottle from his storage to rehydrate from the heat and took off to the vegetable fields.
“Damn, this task is going to be rough…”

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

Earth's Army In Another World
As the god's battleground starts to turn into anarchy with justice and prosperity disappearing and instead being replaced by pain and suffering, the goddess of Justice and Prosperity has to do something that no other god or goddess has done. Call upon the forces of a godless planet. She wanted the strongest, and got the strongest. She got armies from three separate countries, and has forced upon them a mission of no return. Literally. Like they can't return to earth unless they complete it. Without any governments, the armies are left to fend for themselves with a large amount of bullets, tanks, planes, and ships. This story will have a large amount of characterization and slice of life moments. I did an insane amount of research for this and poured so much time in, not just militarily, but other basic necessity things as well. Fights will be bloody, magic will be rampant, and the slice of life moments will just warm you to the core. (actual kingdom building)
