《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 11- Fisherman!

When they arrived in the hall, all of the regulars who passed the test yesterday were present. Liu Guanyi recognized some of them, the tall guy, Roy, and his petite girlfriend, Lily, and the green spearman he met in the beginning.
They joined them as they were all silent waiting for the test administrator to explain about this "Position Test". Not long after, the door opened as Novec entered the hall carrying a paper in his hands, and as usual, he directly explained without any pleasantries.
"I'll explain it shortly so perk up your ears and listen closely!"
"Positions are important in climbing the tower! They will have and serve their own specific purposes in a team to complement each other. There are many of them but the most important are, Fisherman, Spear-bearer, Scout, Light-bearer, and Wave Controller."
"You will learn more these more in your respective position's class so I won't explain them." Novec gave his reason, but of course, he simply didn't want to waste more breath to explain something that would just be taught later in the class. He wanted them to go out on their own to seek and learn, not babysit them.
"Now, based on your previous tests. I will appoint your respective position that will determine the entirety of the position test!" He began to call out their names and designated their positions.
"Roy Evans, Spear-bearer!"
"Lily Walt, Light-bearer!"
It lasted for a while until it came to their turn.
"Tu Perie Xin, Scout!"
And finally…
"Liu Guanyi, Fisherman!" He spoke out the last name on the paper.
"Now, as my farewell and last test. You lot could find your own way to your respective classroom, however, keep in mind that it will start in a few hours, so make it quick! Treat it as an observation test, goodbye kids!" Novec said with a smirk as he waved his hand and casually strolled away like he had no care in the world.
"Damn, that Ranker sure does whatever he wants!" A regular cursed.

"Well, he can exactly do that because he is a Ranker in the first place." Roy, the tall man replied.
"Hey, guys! Let's split up here so we can cover more ground and find each position's classroom if one of us finds it then we can tell each other via pockets." One of them suggested.
As the regulars discussed things among themselves, Liu Guanyi didn't want to mingle and socialize with them since they were worthless to befriend and simply a waste of time, and just spoke to Xin.
"We also should split up, Xin. Oh yea, the test administrator was right. You should treat it as a training, furthermore, you are a scout, right? I am sure you can do it!" He encouraged him.
"W-well, if you say so." He nervously replied, still lacking confidence in himself.
"Anyway, let's meet later!" Liu Guanyi said his farewell and went out of the hall casually.
To find the classrooms, especially the fisherman's one in this huge place was indeed a bit problematic. Without any knowledge other than yesterday's experience and only a few hours of time, it was almost impossible to find it unless one could view it from a bird's eye perspective.
That regular who suggested splitting up and contacting each other through pockets was correct since it would give them much higher chances and was pretty feasible. However, it was too narrow-minded and inefficient, Liu Guanyi considered.
There was the quickest and simplest way to actually get it right. Just ask the personnel of this floor to tell him the way, simple right?
Although it seemed there was no staff other than the test administrator, they were actually here though only of a few of them. For example, the octopus cook in the cafeteria.
That's why he was now heading toward the cafeteria. When he arrived, he quickly asked the octopus hybrid cook the quickest way to get to the fisherman's classroom.
"Oh? The fisherman class huh… just head west for two kilometers and then turned to the north for five hundred meters, and you will find it without problems." Said the cook.

After thanking the cook, Liu Guanyi quickly walked out heading toward the direction he was told. He didn't get far from the cafeteria when he saw Xin running toward it.
'This child… is indeed a talented seed, he had both brains and brawn. If those idiots from the ten great families threw away their children just because they didn't make it in their "standards", I will happily accept them.' Liu Guanyi thought.
Free talented children were always welcome since they were mostly a blank slate. As long as he showed them a kind grandpa's smile and gave them the care and worth they had never obtained in their families, they would become his loyal subordinates who would be willing to throw away their lives for him.
Liu Guanyi had a smile on his face as he continued walking carefreely.
. . . . . .
In a big, regal, and luxurious brown room, a youthful and handsome tall man could be seen sitting behind a large mahogany desk.
He had brown hair, a long scar that stretched across his face. Draped in a white and brown-colored neat tuxedo, his figure looked very prim and pleasing to the eyes.
He was reading some papers while sipping a hot cup of coffee when someone barged into the room. "Milord, this is Novec's report regarding the chosen regulars' tests in this batch No. 1 testing district." A tall man reported and handed in the document.
"Hmm? Didn't I tell you to take care of them yourself?" He questioned.
"I am sorry milord, but there is an interesting detail there that you might want to see." He apologized as he bowed his head.
"Interesting detail? Let's see…" The man in white tuxedo stopped his work to look at the report paper.
"A monster with very high Shinsu resistance appeared? And Novec put him in the same class with "her"? Interesting. This batch might not be boring after all…" He said as a grin morphed on his face.
. . . . . .
Finally, Liu Guanyi arrived in the fisherman class. It was decently large with a few rows of long chairs and tables. He saw that many unfamiliar regulars, probably from other testing places, he thought, were already sitting on their own spots on the chairs.
It seemed that most of them were heatedly talking about a certain topic.
"Hey I heard that a princess of Zahard is climbing the tower in our batch, and most importantly, she is a fisherman!"
"Really? Where did you get that information?"
"That's right! My friend from another testing district said that he saw her with his own eyes, she is very beautiful, he said!"
"Oh yea, how beautiful is she?"
"Extremely so, she is a princess of Zahard, after all."
"Oh! About her, I also heard some rumors that she is extremely talented as well."
The classroom was very noisy and lively as they were having a discussion about a "Princess" as Liu Guanyi listened attentively.
If this was true, then it was a big deal as according to the information he got from Xin, no matter how great they were, the ten great families were still in the end only, nobles. Hence, their daughters couldn't ever take the title of "Princess".
So, there was only one possibility. Whoever she was from these regulars' descriptions, she was extremely likely came from it… the Zahard Empire's royal family!
That meant her authority and importance in the tower were immense, and if he could befriend her, the benefits would be… massive.
"Okay, be quiet regulars!" A muscular man with ox's horns walked in front of the class.
"I am Borc, the tower's Ranker and your teacher responsible for the fisherman's position." He introduced.
"Now, let's start the class with..."
The Ranker stopped as the door suddenly opened, interrupting his speech.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Here we go, it's time for some princess. I know some you guys already asked about this repeatedly and I know that without them, it won't be fun. So, let's see what will happen, shall we?

The Girl Named Rino
Oh. Hello. I didn't see you come in. No, don't worry. I don't need to hear your name. I already know what it is. I also knew that you'd come up at around this time. But, at the same time, I also didn't know. It's very hard to put into words - but that's what happens when you become the Chaos God. Your psyche gets messed up, big time. That's even more so for me, who was already warped enough to confuse reality with imagination - and, even make the rest of the universe believe that it was so. But, enough about me. Let's talk about you. You seem to come from a very far away land. It's faint, but your presence is there - in a relatively primitive planet. No wonder, no one wanted to stay in, or conquer your region of the universe - there's nothing worth controlling there. Your existence, much like your entire solar system, also seems to be pretty insignificant. Tell me, is your race capable of destroying your own world? Oh, you're already well along the way? Global Warming? Pollution? Overpopulation? Nuclear weapons? Wow... it's been many millenia since I'd last heard of such ancient concepts from someone who is actually living through it. Still, good job getting that far. That means that your world is now, at least, worth considering as a possible place to install a World System. If I find the time, I'll try surveying it. You can just thank me, later. Oh wait! What kind of person am I, not even offering my guest any hospitality. I'm ashamed. Please, take a seat. What would you like? I have everything the multiverse has to offer, whatever it is you want - I can get. Ah! After we talk, would you mind, if I asked you to do me a tiny favor? There's this girl, I want to keep tabs on. She's in one of the Worlds that I preside over, it's called Aiarthe. But, for some reason, I can't see her - not directly, at least. All I need you to do, is check up on her from time to time. Whether you do it as a pure spectator or through someone else's eyes, is entirely up to you. Really!? You would!? Wow! Thanks! You really did me, a huge solid there! For agreeing so quickly, how about I get started on surveying that planet of yours, right now!? You can help yourself, to anything in the fridge! Well, see ya!
