《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 31- Shinsu Training

Liu Guanyi and Xin stood on a grassy training ground as the sunlight shined on the horizon. The training ground wasn't large nor small, it was decent-sized with a diameter of around one hundred meters.
There were several wooden scarecrows placed in the middle of the training ground as they were facing toward them.
"While my friend would teach Princess Adori the Arie sword style, I won't teach you any kind of special abilities and whatnot. However, what I am going to teach you is what's considered equally important, at least for you, normal regulars." The horned Ranker, standing on the side, explained.
"Do you know what's the most important substance and energy in the tower? Yes, everyone can easily find the answer… shinsu. Shinsu gives us everything, from oxygen to live, energy to harness, longevity, to powerful and dangerous abilities that we can use freely as we see fit."
"The guardians are considered as godly being is mainly because of their absolute control over Shinsu. To successfully climb the tower and become Rankers, you have to master Shinsu and control it. Even after you finished your climb and become Rankers, you will have to train your Shinsu control harder."
"This is why shinsu is extremely important. Of course, you can rely on your skills and work as a team to climb the tower without decent shinsu control. However, you will be forced to train it anyway after becoming Rankers, this happened to a lot of regulars."
"So, I want to make you realize the importance of shinsu control and train it seriously to have an edge against your competitors in your climbing." The horned Ranker wrapped up his explanation.
The horned Ranker, Locke, turned around and pointed to the wooden scarecrows. "Those are the targets you need to hit. Now, try to create as many bangs as possible."

Liu Guanyi closed his eyes and focused all of his senses on both of his hands as he imagined the world itself was within his hands.
Shinsu began to flow from the environment toward his hands, gathered in a point, and formed a small transparent ball in each of his hands.
However, just as he formed them, one of the balls began to shake, turned more translucent, and quickly disappeared. Liu Guanyi failed to create and maintain two bangs of Shinsu even after three years of training, though he focused more on his physical aspect.
Since Liu Guanyi didn't join the wave controller class on the 2nd floor, he didn't learn how to control Shinsu properly from the Rankers. He had managed to learn it so far mainly by asking Xin and Adori and then trained it by himself.
According to Adori, he was considered decent for managing to create a bang after two years or so, yet, when he asked her how much time she took to form her first one, it was discouraging at best and heart-wrenching at worst.
"It was quite difficult so it took me three months to form my first bang." That was what she said.
It seemed that Liu Guanyi wasn't quite gifted in controlling Shinsu compared to Adori. However, when he talked about this to Xin, he said that his result was better since he only managed to form it after five years, the usual standard for a branch member of the ten great families like him.
Fortunately, there was someone who would teach him willingly. It looked like having a princess of a great empire as a friend worked wonders even in this place, just like how it was in his world.
Although Liu Guanyi believed it was more because of her sword talent than her position since the Arie Ranker had indicated so.

'Hopefully, he will give me much more comprehensive understanding than merely creating a bang and body enhancement.' Liu Guanyi thought deeply.
"Hmm, it seems that your limit is a single bang and your limit is two bangs? Not too bad yet it is not good either." Locke rubbed his chin as he spoke.
"Now, aim it on all of their heads, consider them your real enemies and you have to target their vitals to inflict maximum damage. I'll give you ten seconds to do it." He gave them some instructions.
Liu Guanyi quickly pushed his hand, launching his small bang at the head of one of the scarecrows, it pierced its' head precisely. As it successfully pierced the scarecrow, without wasting time, he created another bang and threw it to another target.
Xin wasn't idle and quickly followed suit. He launched two bangs and managed to break two of the scarecrow's heads directly. They continued doing that until the given time passed, yet some scarecrows were still standing there perfectly fine.
"Well, looking at your result, it seems that you have to train this intensively. I know that you are not wave controllers, but still, you need to improve this without neglecting your roles as a fisherman and scout, especially since you seem to have knacks in it." The Ranker said calmly.
The ranker clicked his fingers as suddenly, many new wooden scarecrows popped out and filled the training ground.
"I am not a wave controller just like you, however, with dedicated training for more than hundreds of years even with little to no talent as a shinsu user, I managed to achieve something noteworthy even in the level of Rankers."
"Let me show you that talent is not the end of the result." Locke said as he walked closer to the scarecrows.
The Ranker simply stood there without moving any parts of his body as tens of bangs, a lot bigger than what Liu Guanyi and Xin showed before, formed around his body.
He merely glanced at the scarecrows as the bangs flew forward at a breakneck speed, piercing all of their heads perfectly in a single breath!
"Incredible!" Xin exclaimed in amazement, he had never seen something like this since he was an outcast in the family.
Indeed, it was pretty amazing. Even, Liu Guanyi had to admit it. Shinsu control wasn't just about creating more and more bangs, no. It was also about maintaining those bangs to work as they were supposed to. His limit was only a single bang but theoretically, he could already create two bangs.
Liu Guanyi was simply unable to maintain them to work properly. However, only maintaining them wasn't enough, he had to direct those bangs to a target that he aimed and control them so they would hit the exact target he wanted.
