《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 84- The Demon Style and The Creator

The scene was horrifying, to say the least. The figure of the Mirotic guardian had been completely erased and wiped off under the rapid barrages of attacks.
Liu Guanyi had only stopped attacking after the guardian was only little bits and pieces of red splattering on the ground.
His attacks were so precise that he didn't even make a dent on the ground despite each of his punches being extremely fast with a power that could pulverize the guardian into a mess of red pieces, showing his extensive and inhuman body control.
What Liu Guanyi used was only his Martial Art without any shinsu enhancement and the result was already quite satisfying considering that he didn't even use any Martial Technique to complement and empower his ability.
It was natural though. The demon style was known as the one with the greatest offensive power. It was incredibly deadly for both its user and its target, making it one of the hardest martial styles to be used for martial warriors.
For Liu Guanyi, however. It was one of his personal favorites as it always been very effective in dealing deadly blows even to creatures that were much powerful and superior to him.
And since the surge of inner energy was massive, it was also hard to control, making Liu Guanyi continue to polish his control of the inner energy if he didn't want to destroy his own body.
With both combinations, it allowed him the opportunities to immerse himself in many thrilling life and death battles against powerful beings, when every attack could potentially determine the entirety of the battle.
As a martial warrior, life and death battles were very important to boost and accelerate his growth.
Without them, it was impossible to advance the stages fast enough before his lifespan ran out.

At least this was the case in his previous world.
As for in the tower?
It seemed that he didn't need to do that anymore since shinsu was already quickened his progress exponentially even without the temperance of life and death battles.
Not only that, but shinsu also greatly lengthened his lifespan so there wasn't any problem even if his progress had hit a bottleneck for a long time.
Having life and death battles in the tower was much riskier and far more dangerous. Liu Guanyi still didn't have a lot of knowledge about it even after living inside it for more than one and a half decades.
He was still a novice in controlling shinsu let alone talking about the other unique roles, and especially the secret and bizarre things like spells.
Liu Guanyi couldn't expose his secrets at all.
If he did, he better make sure nobody was there to spy on him since he didn't know what those top dogs would do in response, especially the ten great family leaders and the king as irregulars themselves.
Would they secretly dispose of him since he could be a potentially dangerous threat to their rule?
Or just murder him outright even if he was inside the regulars' areas, violating the guardians' law, though it seemed to be impossible?
Whatever it was, it was an extremely bad and unfavorable outcome for Liu Guanyi even if they didn't take any aggressive action toward him.
It was simple, it would put him instantly in the spotlight as the next irregular that came to the tower.
By being in the spotlight, he would lose the advantage of being hidden and the chance to secretly grow his own forces in the future.
He would always be under the surveillance of the irregulars, and when they plotted something and schemed against him, he wouldn't be able to know with the power disparity and their deep-rooted foundation in the tower after more than ten thousand years.

This was the importance of being hidden!
It was so important that even the first guardian that Liu Guanyi met had told him about it himself.
Thinking about it, he guessed that Headon had a deeper intention for telling him that information, but Liu Guanyi was still thankful about it nonetheless.
Considering all the signs and situation, even the so-called almighty guardian didn't find that scheming was beneath him or was there another hidden reasoning?
Liu Guanyi guessed that it was because the guardians couldn't act directly themselves. He didn't know why yet, but it looked like they were made to guide the regulars and irregulars to climb the tower.
However, the question was, who made them?
Or what should be more shocking, who made the tower and all of its systems and laws?
Yes, Liu Guanyi guessed that the tower was created for a purpose.
He was confident about this finding since he believed that such powerful and wise beings like the guardians wouldn't bother to lower themselves to serve and humor far weaker and insignificant creatures like humans and those hybrids all their lives.
It was the natural course of things.
No beings would want to serve lesser creatures, even those mindless animals could understand this let alone the immortal guardians even if they had no pride or similar sentiments to prevent them from serving those weaker creatures.
According to what Liu Guanyi gathered until now and what Headon's said, there was something that could fulfill any wishes at the top of the tower.
However, since nobody had ever reached the top, nobody really knew whether it truly existed or not, but Liu Guanyi was more inclined to believe that it was very likely to really exist.
Because if it didn't exist, why would the one who created the tower had assigned the guardians to guide and tempt the regulars to climb the tower?
However, this didn't mean that it was completely true either. Whatever in the top could just be nothing or maybe just half the truth of what the guardian said.
While it could fulfill wishes, it couldn't fulfill any wishes, for example a wish to become a god that could destroy the tower itself with ease.
Or maybe these all were merely lies to keep the people going up the tower and the guardians simply did what their creator told them to keep the lies for his personal amusement.
Whatever the truth was, Liu Guanyi would continue to walk until he would finally figure it.
