《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 59- Workshop Battle Part 7

The inner energy flowed to his hips, legs, and feet as it coursed and empowered every muscle in those organs. His legs exploded with incredible explosive energy as he ran straight across the tunnel, creating a loud footsteps noise as if there were many horses galloping on the ground.
Using this Martial Style, Liu Guanyi could run with more than twice his usual speed over a long distance!
After running for a short time, he had finally reached the end of the tunnel as he was presented with three more tunnels that led to other unknown directions.
'Another one, as expected… looks like this fish tank was made to be really complicated. It's impossible to find the correct tunnels within just an hour.'
'Does the Workshop really make such a hard test to make all the regulars fail?' Liu Guanyi wondered inwardly.
'No, it will backfire to harm their reputation if they made such a test. The regulars will just assume that the Workshop scams them with the prizes but doesn't actually want to give those to them. So there must be some clue that I've overlooked and missed.'
As Liu Guanyi pondered deeply about the issue and was about to go into the middle tunnel-
'Hmm?' he stopped as he felt a slight vibration on his boots from the ground.
After a few seconds, the vibrations kept coming as he perked up his sharp ears to listen more carefully, he caught a noise that was coming from the right tunnel.
'Is there a commotion? The tunnels are generally quite long, even with my full speed I need to take around a minute to traverse a tunnel so it must be quite big for the vibration and noise to travel till here, as even I can only catch it slightly with my keen sense.' Liu Guanyi calculated and evaluated.

'Let's check it, hopefully, it will provide some clue to unravel the test.' Liu Guanyi quickly made up his mind and went to the right tunnel as he started running at full speed, not wanting to lose this opportunity to grasp any leads to finish the test as fast as possible.
The closer he got to the source of the commotion, the clearer he felt the vibrations and heard the noise. After running for a while, he finally saw what the cause of the commotion truly was.
There, he saw two people, a muscular short black-haired man and a tall man with two fangs protruding from his mouth with a leopard on his side. There were many cracks on the ground which suggested that they were fighting quite intensely.
As they heard his footsteps, both of them reactively stopped their fight to look and sense at the one who had intruded on their fight.
However, the black-haired man seemed to have faked his reaction as he exploited the fanged man's split-second off-guard to deliver a powerful shinsu powered straight punch on his jaw.
Being caught off guard, he received the full brunt damage as he stepped back instinctively to mitigate the force. However, the black-haired man quickly gave a chase to press the advantage.
The leopard didn't simply watch its master being pummeled to death as it pounced on his back and bit his unguarded neck as the black-haired man was busy chasing its master.
Crunch!
A loud crunching sound echoed in the tunnel. However, he merely looked back and smashed hard his elbow on its belly as the leopard was sent flying off his back and rolled on the ground in pain.
The black-haired simply shrugged off the bite as there was no blood flowing from his bitten neck unlike what was expected as only some scratch appeared on his skin.

Without the annoying leopard, he quickly approached the fanged man again as he had managed to recover from the attack with the brief time the leopard gave him.
He engaged and counter-attacked the black-haired as they battled in hand-to-hand combat.
The fanged man used his sharp claws and longer reach to his advantage as he dodged every punch that the black-haired man sent in his way and swiped his claws every time he seized a chance.
The scuffle lasted for a few seconds as the fanged man managed to successfully land many strikes to his opponent without getting any hits.
Unfortunately, his sharp claws weren't that effective as they only created some light bleeding on his body at best and meaningless scratches at worst.
When he was about to attack, the fanged man was stunned for a moment as the previous blow suddenly rocked his brain as it had affected his nerves and he couldn't move his leg.
The black-haired man saw this and quickly tackled him to the ground.
He didn't waste this chance and sent a barrage of punches at his face, ribs, and chest. The fanged man tried to put up his best guard as he raised his arms to block all of his attacks.
However, his strength and resilience was far cry from his attacker as he was instantly overpowered as the black-haired man broke his arms, ribs, and disfigured his face.
And soon, he was finally dead with broken bones all over his body and blood flying all around the place, creating a gory scene.
The leopard, seeing its master dead, was freed of its binding restraint, simply turned around and walked away limping because of the previous blow.
There was no reason for it to avenge its master, after all. Animas didn't have to befriend their shinheuh to actually make them work for them.
They only had to defeat them and bind them to their will to tame them. Since it was basically forced against its will to obey its master, it didn't even have a tiny bit of desire to fight a dangerous enemy for him, let alone to avenge him.
Looking at the black-haired man who was getting up after finishing his foe, Liu Guanyi spoke casually unbothered by the gore. "Are you a member of the Ha family from the top team among E-ranked regulars?"
The black-haired man didn't bother to answer as he ran toward Liu Guanyi and threw a sharp, heavy, straight punch aimed at his chest.
Seeing this, Liu Guanyi merely smiled as his left foot stepped forward and his left forearm moved outward ninety degrees, pushing away his punch with ease.
The black-haired man's eyes grew wide as he couldn't hide his surprise. His powerful and fast, right straight punch was deflected just like that!
