《Judah Judas Adventures》Prologue

I will never forget the day I was born. I did not have a normal birth like any child of the Romanian Kingdom. I was born because of a mother who ate an enchanted apple of a wizard, who is in a way, my father. He planted me in that apple using his blood, a spell to make me chicken in that apple, and gave it to a poor woman who wanted a baby but couldn't because no one wanted to marry her because everyone loved her. she considers it ugly and lazy. My mother took a bite of that apple, after which she woke up the next day with a big belly. Her mother panicked that day, went to the doctors of the Kingdom, and they told her that she was pregnant, which she could not believe that that trick worked.
The next day, my mother gave birth to me in her house on her own because she has no family around her or a neighbour to help her because of her ugliness and the fact that she behaves like an arrogant woman. When my mother gave birth to me, she cut her cord using a knife she had on the table. Just as it was time to cut the cord, something strange happened, the cord began to tear itself to pieces. I didn't realize how it broke because then we were babies I couldn't see, but I could cry like any newborn baby.
That's all my mother could tell me before she died, because she passed away in the next three years. The reason is not known, but I can assume that Apple had some kind of side effect. At her funeral, only I was present, a boy without a name because my mother did not give me any name in these three years. The reason she did that was that she was ashamed to go to the Castle to make those papers that would make me a citizen of this Kingdom. She didn't give me a name, but she always said, "My dear boy!" or "Son." Given her appearance, she was a good person at heart and with children, from what I heard from my Aunt after I leave the Orphanage.

After my mother's funeral, it didn't take long for someone to realize that I no longer had a mother or a house and I was taken to an orphanage. I lived there for six happy years with the ladies who were taking care of me and a few colleagues. Those ladies who took care of me asked about my name, where my mother was, or if I still had family members. How could I know this stuff if as long as my mother lived she would go to the forest every day without me? The reason she was going to the forest was probably to talk to the animals. It sounds like a lie, but this is the truth I'm ashamed of.
While I was at the orphanage, the ladies there named me Judas and registered me as a person of the Roman Kingdom. Being now a person of that Kingdom, I must follow, to make money to live here. In this Kingdom, there is a law that must be strictly followed because the punishment is executed by the guillotine in front of the whole Kingdom. That law is to pay about a hundred coins every week to live in this kingdom. For some, it is not much, but for a little boy who was expelled from the Orphanage at the age of ten and without parents it is a lot.
How was I expelled from the Orphanage? If you are ten years old, you have nothing to look for in the Orphanage because that is the age when you can work as a squire or work as an apprentice in a blacksmith shop, as a cook, or as a worker in agriculture. And I chose probably the hardest job, that of squire because my scout is a female knight, Fiona.

Fiona is a female warrior who is six years older than me and owns a fine house. He has a shining silver armour, and behind that armour is a sheath in which he holds his sword that weighs more than a pig. He does not wear a helmet like any other knight because he prefers to have a better view and sharper senses. Without a helmet, her long blond hair was cut many times because she explained to me one day when she and I had to kill some wolves that invaded the forest near the kingdom. The house where she lives was made by her father who is one of the best masons in this kingdom. Fiona became a knight at the age of fifteen because that is the age at which you can work as a knight after working as an apprentice or squire for five years. The salary of such a knight is at least four hundred coins a month, and that of an apprentice is about ninety yellows every three weeks. But the best part, a knight and his scout don't have to spend one hundred coins every week.
Later, while I was working for Fiona, I found out a strange thing, she doesn't work entirely for the Kingdom, she also works for a kind of group. How did I find out? I noticed her one day when I was taking home the purchases made from the Square, entering a kind of Tavern with a muscular guy. At first, I thought he was going there to have a beer, but it wasn't like that. My curiosity knew no bounds and I decided to go in there to take a look.
And what I discovered in that tavern made me a completely different person in the future.
