'With this I should be able to deal with enemies much faster now, I did not get a red name, thats weird' Scout was confused on why he did not get a red name.

Usually in Square One you get a red name or a Player Killer mark on you when you kill another person. It will not apply if it was self defense, like if a person attacks you and you fight back, you are clear from the red name. For Scouts case however, it was a quest for him to protect the noble. Another instance where it will not apply is for a war to break out between kingdoms or faction, it only applies to participants though.

The other player was still busy trying to kill off the bunnies that he did not notice his partner missing. So he was still fighting off the bunnies. Scout took this chance to use his new skill backstab. He stabbed his dagger into the back of the neck and it instantly killed the player. He then fought off the 2 remaining bunnies that the 2 players left behind. Since the bunnies were on low health, Scout just jumped forward and slashed one bunny, while stabbing the other and they both instantly died. He then got a notification.

Level Up!

"wow I only killed 2 bunnies and I leveled up? oh wait, I guess by killing those 2 players I got plenty of exp" Scout was right, killing players yielded more exp. He then allocated his stat points, same as before, 2 in strength, 2 in agility and 1 in luck.

'Not bad' Scout thought. He then looted the drops, he got a total of 80 coppers from killing the bunnies. He did not have to worry about the meat and fur that he had picked up because loot like that will stack up to 250.

Scout then went ahead and checked on the noble, as he had guessed he was safe and was approaching the cottage when suddenly the noble looked at the spot where Scout was hiding.

"You can come out now boy, I'm pretty sure I'm safe now" the noble said with a grin

". . ."

"Don't worry boy, you won't fail your quest, because I was the one that posted that quest."

Scout then slowly walked towards the noble with a dumbfounded face and asked "Why?"

"Because I'm here looking for interesting people like you."

"For what exactly?" Scout asked with a still dumbfounded face

"So that people like you can get a unique class, of course whatever you do from now on will still weigh on what class that you will get."

Scout snapped out of his daze and asked "So, what kind of class will I get?"

"Cant tell you, its not like I can't, it is just that i don't know yet, but seeing your actions probably along the lines of a thief, maybe an assassin, I don't know, depends on what you do from now on."

"But something as easy as that and I get a higher chance for a unique class?"

"Well the thing that you 'easily' did wasn't as easy as you think. Especially when those 2 players that came for me, usually i only get 1 person from that quest board."

"Wait, you were the one that hired those 2 players as well?" Scout was now even more confused.

The noble simply nodded and said "Yeah, I hire people so that your challenge would have been more challenging"

"I see, but did I fail my quest?" Scout asked worrying he won't gain any rewards.

"Nope, like I told you, you did a good job, not many people manage to do this quest, not only is it because its hard, it is also because I rarely do this quest. You were lucky that you had stumbled upon it. Well I have to go"

"Wait!" Scout shouted

"Hmmm?"

"What about the package and the cottage?"

"Oh, theres nothing in the package, its just an empty box, and this cottage? its empty" The noble then just walked off and laughed.

Scout let out a sigh and put his palm in his face. All that trouble just for that. He then got a notification that made him smile.

Quest Complete: Not only did you finish this hard quest, you also now have a higher chance of getting a unique class depending on what you do from now on.

Rewards:10 copper, 10% experience, Higher chance of unique class

'At least I got my rewards' Scout then started to head back to the beginner town. While on the way there he saw a peculiar sight. He saw 3 players what seemed to be attempted robbery.

"Hey Joe, this guy says he 'only' has 50 copper." A guy said.

"Thats a lot already James. Jack over there is hungry, and we need to buy him bread anyways" another guy said

"Yeah James." Another guy said.

"Well, steal his money so that we can start killing him already" James said.

And so they did, they started kicking and stabbing the poor guy with their swords. Scout could only look because if he came out now, no doubt he would die next. But he won't just let it go, they were in a thick forest, which means this would give Scout a huge advantage.

"OH YEAH, I got a level, finally level 2" Jack shouted.

"Me too!" James and Joe replied in unison

"We should kill more people more often, they give way more exp than those stupid bunnies" Jack told them. James and Joe just nodded their heads.

Joe then said to his two partners "Lets leave before someone sees us. lets start killing more bunnies so that our red names disappear."

As they were walking outside their crime area, Jack stopped suddenly and said to his partners "Hey guys, my satiety bar is getting low, I only have 1 loaf left. You guys go ahead ill eat it here and rest while you guys kill those damn bunnies."

"Alright, hurry up though, we don't want to wait for you" James told Jack.

So James and Joe started looking for bunnies farther away from Jack, and Jack sat down in a tree stump while eating his bread.

Scout took this chance to slowly approach Jack. Scout was now in striking distance when a bunny appeared right in front of Jack, which startled Jack. Scout then quickly stabbed Jack in the back, Backstab was activated and Jack died in one hit. Jack did not even now what hit him. All he knew was that he was dead.

Scout was pleased he then got a notification that said.

For killing a Player Killer you gain +100 fame

Scout was now more happy than ever, until he heard someone approaching them, so Scout hid behind a tree and hoped that it was one of the player killers. But there was a slight problem it wasn't just one, it was 2 of them.

Joe then suddenly shouted. "WHAT THE HECK! what happened here?!"

"I don't know, look around, the killer might still be here." James replied

'Well i guess its time to leave, I can't deal with both of them at the same time' Scout was about to leave, and his first step made him kick a pebble onto the next tree. 'COME ON!' Scout shouted on his mind.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!, Joe go check it out."

Joe simply nodded and slowly approached where the sound came from.

'No choice, I guess ill try to fight them. I guess ill try to backstab the guy thats approaching me and ill just kill the other guy one on one' That was Scout plan. As Joe was approaching the tree next to Scout, Scout jumped out and backstabbed Joe, which instantly killed him. James was shocked, he saw his comrade not only dead but one shotted.

"Who are you?! Why are you killing my friends?!" James screamed in a scared voice.

"Me? Im no one, and besides you guys killed that poor fellow over there, and I'm here to I guess, how do I say this? Uhm, retaliate? Scout said with a grim. Scout then slowly approached James with his dual daggers wielded, his pace sped up when suddenly James drew his sword and attacked Scout with a slice. Scout just stepped to the side and stabbed James, Scout expected James to be dead, because all his other player kills were 1 hit KO

'Thought he would be dead, guess not since it wasn't a backstab.'

Scout jumped back, and started approaching James, and so their melee started. After 30 seconds of fighting, James finally fell down dead.

Scout satisfied with his work, he got another level and also got another extra 200 fame for killing James and Joe. He then started walking back to the beginner town where he look for more stuff to do.
