Scout got back to the town. He immediately went to the town hall where the village chief was. As he got there, he was welcomed with utmost respect. The chief walked up to him and asked.

"Is the deed done? Have you killed the wolf?"

"I have regained your honor by killing the wolf" Scout replied

"Wonderful, I can sleep at ease knowing that the wolf king is dead. Thank you very much " The town chief told scout while crying.

"It was not a problem, it was for the sake of the people, I did it not just for you, but did for everyone that had been terrorized by that wolf king."

"Here is your reward, it is not much, but I hope you accept it."

Scout left the town with a satisfied face, he got a good amount of gold, he also got 2 levels. Scout quickly took out his new ring and inspected it.

Scout now left the town hall with a bigger smile on his face. The most important thing for him was speed, and with this ring, he can now move faster than ever. Once he equipped it, Scout could feel the difference, it's as if his whole body had gotten lighter.

Scout went over to the leather working shop in order to get new armors made out of the elite wolf hides that he got. He approached the old lady and said.

"Excuse me, can I get some armor made out of these materials?" Scout grabbed the white elite wolf hides and placed them on the counter.

"Oh wow, these are pretty good quality leather you got here young man, but I'm sorry, with my skills, these would be wasted in my hands." The old lady replied with a sad face.

"I see, do you happen to know where I can find an alternative leather worker?"

"If I am not mistaken, there should be a decent leather worker at the city closest to here, Hoelbrak City, about a days worth of travel by foot."

"Thank you very much" Scout bowed his head and left.

Scout went to the store and sold of the loot that he had picked up on the wolf's den. He then went to the market and sold the brown and black hides from the elite wolves. He kept the white ones for himself.

"Come and buy these good quality wolf hides! level 45-50 material here folks, buy them now and make craft them into armor! You won't be disappointed, Limited stock!" Scout shouted

A crowd formed around Scout and was amazed at the wolf hides that Scout had gotten.

"How much for the hide?" A person asked

"50 silver each for the brown hides and 75 silver for the black ones" Scout retorted

"Thats a bit too much don't you think?" The person asked again.

"Considering that these hides are from elite wolves and not regular ones, they are pretty cheap, and besides, you should be able to get green tier equipment out of these hides. Most people don't get green tier equipment until they reach their first city. Imagine having green tiered equipment at a beginner village, you'll have a good start."

"That does make sense, all right, give me 10 of each." the person said.

Scout handed over 20 hides and received his money.

"Thank you ver much" Scout said

"Hey ill buy 10" One person said

"Me too" another one shouted

"Can I have 2 black ones please?"

"6 Brown ones please"

It did not take 10 minutes for Scouts hide to sell out. He had gained 125 gold. He could have gotten more if he raised the price, but he was in a hurry to get to Hoelbrak City.

Scout planned on walking on foot, but he got some information at the adventurers guild that a person can take a carriage to take you to major cities and towns.

Scout started running towards the gate, carriages appear every 3 hours. Scout got to the gate and barely catches the carriage, it was about to leave when Scout yelled.

"WAIT!"

The carriage stopped and the driver turned to Scout and asked.

"What do you want?"

"Can I get a ride? you're headed to Hoelbrak right?"

"Yeah, hop on kid, but its gonna cost you 5 gold."

Scout handed over 5 gold and sat at the back of the carriage where a couple more adventurers were.

After an hour of their ride, A bandit group had started running towards the carriage, it wasn't rare for bandits to strike carriages, they often carry supplies.

"BANDITS! YOU ADVENTURERS TAKE CARE OF THEM!" the carriage driver shouted.

"Good, I was bored anyway, about 50 bandits? ill handle this, you guys sit back and enjoy the show" A broad muscular guy said and stood up holding a giant broadsword. The sword was taller than the man himself.

"Don't be crazy, I don't want my carriage to be damaged, all of you go!" The driver shouted once again.

"Fine fine" Another person stood up but this time it was an elegant elf with a bow.

They both jumped out of the carriage.

"You guys coming or what?" The elf said.

"Im a healer, so I'm just gonna stay back here" A human female said.

"I guess I have no choice, ill tank them, I'm a knight." Another person said.

"Fine" Scout said with sigh

Scout stood up and jumped off the carriage along with the other people. Scout didnt need to waste his mana on low level bandits, they were about level 30 bandits, and the group on the carriage were at least level 50. So Scout decided to fight along side the group.

The knight would get the attention of the bandits by using its skill "Aggro" Which forces monsters/NPC's to attack them. The healer would of course heal the knight since he was the one taking the most damage. The elf would just shoot her arrows from afar.

But whats most amazing about this is the guy with the huge sword, every swing he took, he instantly kills 2 or 3 bandits.

Scout just confronted the bandits head on.

Scout ran deep through the enemy lines while slashing any bandits he goes through. He slashes one in the neck with his dagger while he stabs one in the back. He just went through them like they were paper. Every step he took, death followed. He was so fast that the bandits didnt even have time to react. They died one by one. The only thing the bandits see before they die is Scouts face right in front of them. Others would not even see. By the time they try to attack, they were already dead.

It only took about 10 minutes to finish of all the bandits. Then they got into the carriage and continued on with their trip.

"Hey kid, you did better than I expected, I even thought you were gonna die hahaha" The guy with a sword said while laughing.

"Heh, thanks, it wasn't much" Scout replied

"Why don't you join us?" The guy with the big sword said.

"Join you for what?" Scout asked back

"Were actually planning to make a guild"

Scout lifted up his sleeve and showed his wing, his guild mark.

"Im already in one" Scout said

"Thats too bad" The big guy with a sword said.

The carriage came to a full stop when the big guy said something to Scout.

"Well my name is Wolf, the elf with the bow is Nera, the timid girl with the staff over there is Scarlet, and that more than average looking guy over there is Gus."

Scout pulled down his mask revealing his entire face and said.

"My name is Scout, if you guys ever need help, the guild that I am on is a mercenary guild, we will help you . . . With a fee of course" Scout said while letting out a small laugh.

"Alright, nice meeting you Scout, before I forget, let me add you to my friends list" Wolf said

"Add me too man" Gus said too

"Might as well add me too" Nera said

"Me too please" Scarlet said

Scout added them all into his friends lists and they went their own separate ways.

Scout had gotten inside the city, it was way different than the town. The streets were paved, the streets were cleaner, and the city was way more livelier, there were shops of all kinds, bread shop, meat shop, skill book shops and many more. Imagine what the capital holds.

Scout directly went towards the leather working shop so that he can his new armor. He approached the store keeper, it was a big guy about mid 40's he looked like a blacksmith so Scout was not sure if he had come to the right place. Scout approached the counter and said.

"Excuse me"

"Ah, yes? How can I help you today? The store keeper asked.

"Can you please make armor out of these?" Scout said while pulling out a huge amount of white wolf hide.

"Oh wow these are good quality stuff you got there. Yeah, someone like me should be able to make something for you."

"Ah, thank you very much, how much would it cost me for a full set?" Scout asked worried

"30 gold should be enough" The store owner said

"I see, is it possible to dye it black?" Scout asked

"Yeah, it should be possible, it is gonna cost you an extra five gold though. But why would you want to change this beautiful white into black?"

"I don't want to stand out you see." Scout replied and handed over 35 gold and enough white wolf hide.

"I see, ill get right on it."

"By the way, do you want to buy the rest of the hides?" Scout asked

"You have more of these things?!" The storeowner asked almost falling to the ground.

Scout handed enough to make 3 more sets.

"OMG, ill take them, ill buy the whole lot for 100g"

"Okay, thank you very much. And how long will the armor take?" Scout asked

"About a day, you can pick them up tommorow."

"I see, then I will be back tomorrow"

Scout left the store and logged off.

NOTE: First of all, I changed the location of the guild mark, it was at the back of their palms at first, but now I changed it to the arm. Makes it way bigger and cooler :D

Well thats it, not much happening in this chapter. At least he met some new friends. They will play a role not he story further on.

Sorry if it was a boring chapter. I had to get Scout new armor, cause his old armor is like level 15 or something like that, and he is level 52 now, so he needs new armor :D
