Watching Edward taming the beast makes them feel enviable.
He reached his hand out and petted Torchic.
"The little guy is only a newborn."
Edward was being gentle. Torchic enjoyed his touch and continued to ask for more of the delicious food.
Of course, Edward won't be stingy with the food. He grabbed a handful and placed it in front of Torchic.
When it saw the food again, it cried happily and immediately gobbled it all up.
"Chic!"
Torchic was excited. It has never tasted such delicious food.
After eating, it quickly went back to Edward jumping happily. In its excitement, Torchic spewed out a small flame from its mouth.

The flames came to Edward's face, and he could smell his eyebrows burning.
He backed away and quickly poured the water on his body.
"Edward, are you okay?"
Rosa asked. She was standing a bit further away from them with Silcoon.
She panicked when she saw Edward almost get burned by the flame breathed by the small beast.
"Damn, I'm fine for now. The fire isn't that hot."
He replied while touching his burnt eyebrows.
Luckily, its fire ability is not strong because Torchic is still young.
If it's slightly stronger, then he can say goodbye to his handsome face.
"Chic."
Torchic was stunned and looked down on the ground feeling guilty for hurting Edward.
"It's fine."
He patted Torchic's head.
Edward was not upset. He knows Torchic didn't mean to hurt him. Although he might get injured, he knows the berries that they had picked up can heal him up in no time.
He squatted down in front of Torchic and told it not to breathe flame without his explicit permission. It tilted his head in confusion but quickly understood Edward's order.

Maybe after it evolves at level 10, he can proceed to train it in combat.
Right now, it is only at level 8. It should be able to evolve in a few days.

Edward stretched his waist and looked at Rosa, who was looking at him amazingly.

Rosa looked at him dumbfoundedly.
"Don't you know how much sensation you caused in the live stream?"
As if nothing had happened, Edward took a bite of the fruit he picked up from the box.
"And?"
"When we picked up Silcoon before, everyone felt we got lucky. But this chick just breathed fire on you, don't you feel scared?"
"Not really. It's just a small burn."
He replied.
Edward didn't hear the notification on his navigear because of Torchic just now.
He switched on the small screen while resting on the ground.
As Rosa said, the viewers are going crazy in the live commentaries.

[Fuck! The beast literally burned his eyebrows. And he acted like he didn't care.]
