《My Life As A Creator》S11: Incident

Back on his feet, Yè threw his fists forward, launching his Augmentation at me. I was able to avoid one of them, but the other grazed my shoulder, making a shallow cut. Charging me once again, ice forming around his fists, with them raised, but this time I was ready for him. Bringing his fists down, I pushed them away, immediately he pushed himself away from the ground with a knee to my abdomen. Clenching his teeth with a deep breath, he followed up with a solid headbutt. It knocked me back and down to a knee and hand, everything was a bit dizzy from the blow for a bit. He's gotten stronger for sure. I can't keep up with his hand-to-hand abilities, he certainly didn't have this level of close quarters combat when I left. Quickly standing up, I rose the ground beneath him entombing him within and crashing back into the ground at a distance away. The case exploded with chunks of dirt and stone flying in all directions. Ice spears quickly following the destruction in my direction. Grazing me more, I hurled more rock and ground at him. I wanted to use my metal, flame, anything. But I didn't want to kill him nor hurt him, the only thing I could think to do during this was to use slabs of dirt and rock to try and incapacitate him.
"Why Beixi?!" Yè cried out, his ice Augmentation melting into steam. Grabbing one of the rocks, he Augmented Shaped it into fists once again, this time much bigger, punching the rest of the rocks with such force that they shattered to pieces. Slamming his fists on the ground, causing a rift in my direction. Jumping to the side and out of the way, yelling again. "Why do they call you the HuntedAugmentor then?! If you’re the same Beixi, then why?!!" I could feel the entire ground starting to quiver. So, that's who that was. That mysterious Shaji must have been an Agent. That would explain how Yè found me.

"I only did what I had to! My research hasn't even finished! I haven't be able to-"
"Is that why you came out to such a barren place?! To break laws?!"
I was stunned, he wasn't wrong, but he wasn't right either. "Yes! That's why I'm out here! I didn't want to test on Shaji from the start without knowing the effects it would have!"
"A Third of my life is gone because of this!" What? What did he mean by this? "Do you understand the pain I went through for these past thirty years?!" He closed his eyes, hands on his head, shaking. The Augmentation Shaping falling from his arms.
"I-"
"No!" Ice crystals spiking up from the ground in all directions around Yè. "Of course not! How would you understand when your mind has only been set on this one thing?!"
"Yè. Please. Let me-" Taking a step forward. The terrain was shifting.
"I never wanted to see you go! What kind of life did you have planned for me?! Did our time together mean nothing to you?!" The Ishu in the area was becoming wild, fluctuating. He was about to erupt. There are small incidents like this, a Shaji's emotions getting out of control to such an extreme degree that the environment around them starts to disrupt and cause irregularities.
"Of course it meant something to me Yè!" Sparks in the air, puffs of flame sparking in and out.
"Did you ever love me Beixi?!" Yè jumped forward to me, tears streaming down his cheeks. Anger in his expression.
Before I could answer, a beam of energy shot past me and through Yè's side. I looked on in horror. The one person I cared the most for in life. The one I loved. Shot down before I could settle down with him.

"Y-"
"YÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈ!!!"
"YÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈ!!!!!!!"
"THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!! YÈÈÈÈÈÈÈ!!!"
Everything became a bit hazy, I watched on as Yè's body fell to the ground, no movement to catch himself. Running to him, nearly tripping over myself.
"Yè... Please... This can't happen... Not to you..." I fell next to him, turning him over, looking at his freshly made hole. There was too much damage. His lower rib, lower part of his lung, half of his stomach, half of his elbow and part of forearm, it was all incinerated. He had suffered too much damage. I couldn't save him. I couldn't even Shape even if I wanted to. Holding his hand, my other hand under his head. I couldn't hold it in anymore. He had trouble breathing and couldn't move his arm. "Yè.. I loved you. I have for a long time. I did so much for you. I wanted you to live a comfortable life while I was gone. I'm sorry it took me so long.. Yè please.. Yè... It can't end like this.." Pained in expression, Yè tried his best to smile. He couldn't say anything back. "Please don't die.. Please let this be a dream.. an illusion.. anything.. I- I can't lose you Yè.." Curling up to him, I didn't want to move him as best as I could, but I wanted him close to me. I could feel his spirit starting to dissipate. This wasn't how I wanted our last day to be. I wanted to Shape his spirit still. I wanted to grab onto him. I didn't want him to leave me. Not like this. But I didn't want him to suffer any more than he already was. I could feel another presence near me. I could tell it was Niki, asking me what had happened. I couldn't say anything to her, but she could feel what was going on. She laid her head on Yè's chest. I couldn't keep this inside anymore. I cried out.
"YÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈÈ!!!!!!!!!!"
