Terin and Copy managed to both enroll. His part was to give them information and in exchange they will help him graduate. It was time for him to do his part.

“How much do you know about this world?” - Copy just shrugged her shoulders and Terin remained silent. - “So, nothing. Well let’s start with geography. There are multiple worlds and not just this one. This school prepares you to go to a world which we call “Casual”. Here you learn how to accumulate a large number of fans quickly. Once you manage to graduate you will be able to gather millions and millions of fans who will treat you like a god. And maintaining that will be really simple. The Casual world also has many subworlds. You should decide which one you want to be in. My suggestion would be TouTu:b:e, dabbing is the most popular there.”

Terin was confident that the Casual world dean mentioned meant the same world they came from and now he was certain. This place probably teaches how to approach the biggest audience and pander to the largest amount of people while being as generic as possible. These people always appeared out of nowhere and were always popular. They were often called “NPC”. Now Terin finally realised where they come from.

“The classes are all optional, but if you plan on graduating I suggest you to attend them. Only the top 10 strongest are suitable to graduate, and only one of them will graduate. The graduation is basically a tournament and the winner is eligible for the theoretical test. If you graduate you will be sent to the Casual world and be treated as a god.” - Terin was thinking that if it’s as difficult as the entrance exam then it shouldn’t be a problem.

“But we should give up on graduating this year. Titan has arised in this year. It is said that TouTu:b:e itself is boosting it. T-show, it’s really scary. It’s an android that closely resembles a human but each limb is controlled by a different computer. It’s as if multiple minds lived in a single body. Its power is almost equal to the current strongest TouTu:b:er. Once it graduates it will surely be stronger and destroy him. We should just give up on graduating for this year. We will take this year to get closer to the top 10 and graduate next year. That’s our best chance.”

“Nonsense. We are graduating this year. One thing is not clear to me, how do you plan on graduating if you just said only one can graduate?”

“Uh, I guess I forgot to mention, but you are allowed to make groups. A good tactic for graduating is to use quantity over quality, but the drawback of that is that if one person fails the theoretical exam everyone fails. And once you see the power of T-Show yourself you’ll understand it’s hopeless as well. For now let’s make a group. Does anyone have an idea for the name of our group?”

Terin already knew what they should name it. - “Skrub12.” - “Uh I was thinking of something cooler than that.” - Terin grabbed his shoulder. The pressure he applied forced Kazuki to give in. - “Sorry, sorry, Skrub12 is cool. Just please stop it.”

Kazuki pulled out his Student ID and started doing something on it. Terin just now realised how much they resemble phones. After a while Kazuki told them to accept the request he sent. The group page looked bland. Only the name, rank, their names and points were presented. Currently they were ranked last with 0 points amongst the hundreds of thousands of competitors.

“How do we earn these points? Defeating other people?”

“Yes, it’s one of the main ways of obtaining points, another one is performing in school activities. Defeating a group gives you 1 plus half of their points. But in order to advance you don’t need points, if you defeat another competitor you will replace your place with theirs. Points are mainly used for purchases. We will need them to move inside the dormitory. And before you say it, no we can’t fight the Top 10 instantly. I mean, we can but we will get expelled. Only fights where you previously issued a duel are allowed. And the top 10 can only be challenged by top 100.”

“This all seems complicated to me. We are in a hurry, you are the group leader, you find people to fight so we can reach Top 10 and we’ll do the fighting. I’ll leave it to you. Copy and I will go explore the school building now.”

Kazuki wanted to protest but they weren’t listening to him as they left. He wasn’t feeling too excited about his group. One was a Dab user and the other didn’t show any abilities. They weren’t weak since they managed to pass the entrance exam but he didn’t believe they would be his road to graduation. He had no other choice so he accepted it and gave it his all.

Terin was also worried. Copy was acting strange. He believed she was just depressed about losing but it wasn’t it. Her constant smile was now a constant frown, she was disinterested in everything and looked like all this was a giant bother. It didn’t look anything like her. She wasn’t a person so it was quite possible her mind was hacked and replaced but he didn’t want to accuse her of that. First of all he wanted to be alone with her and talk it out.

“Copy, is everything fine?”

“Yes, why do you ask?”

Everything obviously wasn’t fine. But just like with everything else that wasn’t a current problem Terin decided to ignore it. He will deal with it once it becomes an actual problem.
