《Stuck in a zombie world with an OP shop》Chapter 15

At the closing of the day, Ryan climbs to the top of the ladder and lays on the ground beneath the van. He's exhausted after a long afternoon of killing zombies.
'They're so much stronger,' He thinks, and reflects on the credits he earned. While he still maintains the advantage by being able to stab the heads of the zombies from above, he only gained 2560 credits, more than a thousand less than he'd expected.
At night, while he tries to sleep, Ryan is kept awake by the sound of gunshots and roaring beasts. He suspects it's coming from the settlement on 4th street. Closer, there are gunshots coming from the car dealership.
'Should I go help out Jacob?' Ryan asks himself, but stops from leaving his hidden position when he sees a new creature.
It stands approximately five feet tall, but it's body is three times as wide as a regular zombie. On it's hands, it has claws extending several inches. Every step is audible as the beast passes the van, taking a brief look at Ryan and then continuing on towards the settlement.
'In a few minutes,' He resolves, and waits until he determines it to be safe to move out.
To prepare, Ryan buys two magazines for a total of 800 credits, then fills them with twelve bullets each and adds two bullets to his existing magazine. This enables Ryan to kill thirty-six zombies before he needs to load a magazine. That is, however, assuming he only needs one shot to kill them.
Also, he buys Sneaking and ranks it to level five for 1500 credits, and Night Vision for 500 credits. The effect from Night Vision 1 is immediately noticeable, so Ryan purchases it a second time for another 500 credits.
With his sword in his right hand and his pistol in his left, Ryan rolls out from under the van and carefully sneaks towards the direction of the car dealership. He leaves the car, since he doesn't want to damage it against the harsher new zombies.

There are very few zombies immediately nearby, but Ryan dispatches them easily with the sword. With Sneaking, he doesn't make a single sound as the blade removes the heads from the bodies.
Running makes a slight amount of noise, but Ryan progresses almost silently. Certainly, he travels silently enough to bypass the majority of the zombies. Almost a half hour later, Ryan reaches the car dealership and witnesses the zombies clawing at the iron bars protecting Jacob and the cars.
Ryan begins the assault. He shoots his pistol at the small crowd and they turn to face him. The zombies shuffle toward him at differing speeds, allowing him to attack them with the sword without being caught in the group.
Six bullets into his second clip, Ryan has killed all the nearby zombies. Fearing the arrival of more zombies, attracted by the sound, Ryan rushes to the iron gate.
"Jacob, you in there?" He shouts, ignoring how much sound it might make.
"Ryan? Get in here!" Jacob shouts and runs to the iron gate. He quickly unlocks the padlock and slides it open for Ryan to enter, then closes and locks it again. "The zombies are outrageous tonight."
"Yeah, I thought you might need some help," Ryan says and walks with Jacob to the back of the lot. "Have you fought any of the giant ones?"
"Yeah," Jacob says and motions towards the second iron gate entrance to the parking lot. One of the giant zombies is laying against the iron bars.
"Shit," Ryan says, and buys ammo to reload his magazines. "At least they die like the rest."

REND
In an alternate reality Earth, where a mysterious organization of superhumans fights eldritch horrors taking over people's minds, Erind Hartwell, a first-year law student with psychopathic tendencies and obsessive compulsion to follow an inexplicably arbitrary set of Rules, seemed normal in comparison. And that is what she is going for. Society frowned on different—especially her kind of different. Rule #4, "I wouldn’t bother the world as long as it didn't bother me." Unfortunately, the world bothered Erind's normal life. On the brink of death, an entity came offering powers to save her. Left with no other choice, she accepted it, changing into a new form—the first of many that'll help her survive this dangerous world. REND is a twist on the superpowered human genre combined with eldritch horror, but its main emphasis is character development and exploration, as it is mainly a psychological story. REND offers a unique reading experience. If you're looking for something different from the mainstream, then this story just might provide the experience you didn't know you were looking for. Cover is part of a wallpaper art commissioned from CristianAC. Chapter release every multiple of 5 days (5th, 10th, 15th, etc.) of the month. 10 am Central/ 3pm GMT

There may be a month's between releases which are only 1000 ish words in size. So I highly reccomend coming back when there is a decent amount of reading material present. There is also no set plan for this fiction and it'll be used to release some stress, improve my writing, and to list down concept ideas possibly.

Conquest of Avalon
Revenge. The Kingdom of Avalon swept across the Empire of the Fox a generation past, conquering the heartlands and leaving the broken remnants to stew in the island duchy of Guerron. This isn't a story of Good versus Evil, of kindly kings doing their best to lift all subjects, or of unvarnished heroes doing battle against evil. Instead, this story is about power: who has it, who wants it, and what people will do to obtain it. It is about the violence inherent in the imperial project and how even the most well-intentioned rulers and conquerors are, still, engaging in systemic violence against those conquered and defeated. Our three point-of-view characters are a peasant turned fire wizard, an excitable duelist with more enthusiasm than sense, and a scheming mage-priestess bent on reclaiming her family's birthright and waging war on the foreign oppressors who rule her home... no matter the cost in blood or treasure.
