《Stuck in a zombie world with an OP shop》Chapter 29

Ryan paces around driveway while thinking of what to do next. He has all the credits he could possibly need, so nothing is impossible. All that mattered was that he think of the right thing in the shop, not that is was cost effective. To help with this, Ryan adds a hack to the shop.
Placement Preview, 2000 ₵
With this, Ryan adds more abstract objects to the shop, such as a concrete wall and a rolling steel gate. After placing these, the front yard of Ryan’s parents’ house is protected from zombies. Nothing will stop the giant zombie from crushing the house or the wall, but Ryan can’t think of a way to stop it without totally changing the scenery.
Without any unfinished business at his parents’ house, Ryan walks into the middle of the street and buys a motorcycle. It’s an extremely fast and luxurious sports bike that he’d never be able to afford in the pre-system world, but the 360000 credit cost is barely a drop in the bucket for him now. After all, that’s just eighteen zombies.
Ryan takes off down the street, further away from the city, and buys Impact Resistance 1000 and Wind Resistance 10. He’s unsure of the effects of Wind Resistance, so decides that ten levels will help enough with the wind in his eyes.
The effect from the skill doesn’t take away too much from his speed, so Ryan levels the skill to 100, and then to 1000. The result is a barrier around his body where the wind doesn’t pass. It’ll make summer breezes less enjoyable, but riding the motorcycle without a helmet will be much better.
Ryan knows he could fly to wherever he wanted, but riding the motorcycle is for fun. After his first motorcycle got stolen out of a parking garage, Ryan never bought another one. Instead, he kept to watching motovlogs on the internet and wishing he could afford a fast bike.

A few miles past his parents’ home, in a poorer area of the suburbs, Ryan comes across a well-fortified position. It’s not a house, but a fenced off basketball court, where all kinds of materials have been placed against the fence to strengthen it.
“Ay yo! Nigga got a bike!” Ryan slows down enough to hear this from someone inside the court, and he stops completely.
“Hello, citizens! Call me Mr. Money Bags!” Ryan cheers and walks over to the opening of the court.
Not even a bullet bouncing off his head if enough to stop him.
‘Scary,’ Ryan thinks as he continues walking forward. The bullet hit his chest, but the jacket protected him.
“What the hell you want?” A man behind the fortifications yells.
“I…” Ryan begins to speak but needs a few more seconds to think of what to say. “I want to make a deal.”

The Draw Of The Unknown
Mia Campbell is your average introverted loner. Not exactly satisfied with her life doing pretty much nothing of import, she's also not that willing to break out and make a change. Until, without any preamble or warning, she is bestowed with a cryptic system that both grants her magical powers, and also operates on the logic of a card game. Things begin to escalate from there. **This project is a bit of an experiment! For any given chapter, Mia's 'decklist' will be built by the community, over on our Discord server. If you find this amusing, and want to participate in the discussion, as well as find the complete list of cards, you will be able to find the link to the Discord server at the end of each chapter. Discussion in the comments is also encouraged and included as well. Each chapter and/or scenario will be intentional, but the cards used will be chosen by you guys. And the draws made will be done via actual drawing of cards during the writing process, for bonus author street cred.**

A Comprehensive Guide for Alchemy
A guidebook designed for alchemists of every tier to help refine their craft and provide direction. Formed of countless recipes and techniques, developed over the ages by the collective knowledge of our study, this is a definite supplement material for any aspiring alchemist. This discusses not only the recipe itself, giving you instructions for each one, but directs you to things not to do in the recipe. It isn’t uncommon for starting alchemists to unknowingly make a small change, and before they know it… BOOM! For a relatively minor price you too purchase this guidebook and start working towards building up a proper base of knowledge in alchemy. Even those with considerable ability may learn a thing or two from this! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is purely a guidebook for alchemy in a magical world, and as such contains no story elements. The cultivation (and alchemical) tiers are not at all necessary to understand the book, but exist because in the context of the book it would be important. I'm more than happy to write up any alchemical ideas you've ever had, totally not using this as an excuse to reduce my creative thinking hours... Just PM the idea or post it as a comment in any chapter, with a bit of balancing there's pretty much no idea that can't be done! Hiatus while I focus on shorter stories for competitions

Shadow under Plato
King’s College has a reputation. To Leo, the sharp but cynical rebel, it is a place where the people he cares about are sentenced to a fate worse than death—to live the rest of their days on the surface of a dying Earth. To Morgan, the bright and strict overachiever, it is a vault in which she may find her dreams. And for the brightest six students of King’s College, even greater opportunities reside in the legendary Class Euripides; a class which she will fight for a seat at with all her wits and will. And to Lumia, the newly Ascended girl whose smile never fades, King’s College is a terrifying puzzle just like everything else in the floating city of Plato, the last bastion of humanity. As the class of 311 commences a grueling year of study and elaborately devious tests, none of the bright-eyed students could have anticipated the weight of expectation laid upon their shoulders. After all, a student’s hopes and dreams mean little in the fight against an ever-collapsing climate. For the Educators of King’s College offer only one lesson to their future students, to the future of a dying world: Burn bright.
