《Star Siezing Monarch》[CH.12] Rules of the Hunt! Shen Yi Taunts!
The Inner Court Martial Library was absolutely packed, with Inner Disciples everywhere. It was the exact same as a week ago, except for each Inner Disciples new weapons and mounts.
Everyone had a fierce appearance and had even begun to group themselves into hunting parties. Everyone was fervid with excitement, talking amongst themselves, and some of the newer disciples even felt their emotions bubble over.
Wang Li and Yan Zhou were within this crowd, in the middle, in the same spot as they had before.
"You! Prepare yourself for this hunt, I'll make sure there aren't any 'rules' to save you then!" Shen Yi, still riding his tiger mount, came forward and immediately taunted to Wang Li. The anger from a week before seemed to have only grown, and his nasty expression only spoke of killing intent.
"This is the boy that was causing you trouble earlier, Shen Yi? Pathetic." Around Shen Yi was his other friends, who all looked down at Wang Li equally. It was a small group of around four to five, and they seemed to have decided to team up for the hunt.
"Shen Yi, if you decide to trouble me or my brother during the hunt - prepare for death." Wang Li fiercely grinned and spat out, his fighting spirit emerging. Just from the pure aggression in his voice, Shen Yi and his friends flew into a fury.
Of course, it was still the Martial Library, and they couldn't act even if they wished.
But Wang Li didn't mind. Earlier during the week, he had found out that Inner Disciples can take certain low-level martial skills from the Outer Court Martial Library for free.
He had snuck away a few days earlier and picked up a bunch of low-class martial skills meant for Body Transformation artists. Each skill was easy to learn and master, and in just a week, he had diversified his fighting portfolio even further.

This gave him extra confidence for the hunt ahead. But just as Shen Yi and his group were contemplating striking, the entire crowd shushed as Thirteenth Elder descended at the stage.
"You all have gathered for the hunt, good! This Hunt to Demonside Forest will be extremely dangerous, and you all must be careful! Individuals and groups are allowed. While fighting amongst disciples is frowned upon - it is not entirely forbidden. But remember, we are all a sect, and killing a member of the sect will always be punishable!" Thirteenth Elder quickly went over the rules of the hunt, and then began to describe the hunt itself.
"The main objective of the hunt is to kill as many as Qi Foundation Demonic Beasts as possible. Each Demonic Beast will have a core which will identify the level of the beast and the specific type of beast, to which we have a ranking system. The higher the cultivation of the beast - the more points that will be rewarded. Each individual's points will be tallied up and put on a leaderboard, and the top three will be winners. The hunt shall last a month." Thirteenth Elder, hands placed behind his back, went into detail about the inner workings of the hunt. Each and every disciple listened attentively!
"The top three rewards will be as such: a Golden Proxy Pill, Magic Mist Tempering Powder, and a Meridian Cleansing Pill! Each and every one of these are extremely precious, as all of you know!" Thirteenth Elder proudly announced; the sect wasn't holding back much on this hunt. Each and every reward was worth a considerable amount of points and were treasures to Inner Disciples.
Magic Mist Tempering Powder was a strange powder that would turn into a hazy mist when mixed with water and increased a martial artist's affinity for cultivation. It also had an additional effect of tempering one's body even further.

Meridian Cleansing Pills were just like their name and cleansed a martial artist's meridians. This made combat much smoother and the flow of Qi easier. Of course, by tempering the meridians, it also made the body stronger.
Strangely, all of the rewards had at least a minor effect of body transformation. Many didn't think much of it and only erupted in excitement to get the hunt on.
They had gone out and bought new weapons, trained their martial skills to new extents, and taken all kinds of precious pills just for this moment! The rewards were simply too sweet!
"Follow me, Demonside Forest isn't too far. The Hunt will soon begin!"

Shift (Ben 10+DCU Fanfiction)
Omnitrix+ DCU, what's not to like? The main character will not be Ben Tennyson, rather someone from our world who gains the Omnitrix Hello! This fanfiction Shift is what I wanted to do for an homage to what I thought were underrated pieces of media, Ben 10 and some DCU characters. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t add context to two of the major works that inspired Shift, Dial, and A Practical Guide to Evil. Dial is another ben 10 fanfiction, however that story takes place in the MCU, and with an adult that is already a grown-up at the beginning of the story. Dial, by my own accounts, is more superficially Like shift, even though the Omnitrix is a central device in both. My protagonist starts out around 18 years old, so is less serious and can build relationships with some of the junior justice league members, and then later on in the story meet the Justice League officially. The tone will be more light-hearted at the beginning of the story as teenagers are known to use sarcasm and jokes at each other’s expense. Furthermore, in Dial, the protagonist has a well-developed knowledge of the MCU which he uses to have knowledge on events and characters, that the character in Shift will not have. While the MC will have some knowledge of people's abilities, lesser-known characters and people's real identities will be not included as much, but the MC of Shift will have some knowledge. APGTE's influence is deeper than Dials'. The epigraphs at the beginning of every chapter are an example of that, a place for light-hearted jokes and worldbuilding that's not pure exposition, but I also want to incorporate narrative stories to Shift (heroes win more than lose, providence, etc) on a lighthearted scale. While the heroes of Shift will have to work to win against villains, the MC of Shift will be allowed limited precognition, through narratives tropes and archetypes as a trade-off of less knowledge of the DCU. For example, a villain a hero faces might monologue, but the MC will not instinctively know how to counter every villain they encounter. I also wanted to bring in more realism than usual superhero stories, ie: the MC cannot just walk and have a meeting with Batman or Superman, he would have to “work his way up” in terms of credibility and whatnot. The Aliens that show up in Shift I tried to make different than the ones in Dial, just to share the love for lesser-known characters. And to make it fairer for the villains of the DCU, the main character will not wantonly use if gain at all an Alien X or a ben 10 form of Kryptonians, just so the characters have to work a little bit for victory. I urge anyone reading to consider checking out both APGTE and Dial as they are both amazing works, and I hope you enjoy them. The beginning of how the MC enters the DCU will not be as important as him actually existing in that universe, so that is why a ton of time is not spent on that part of the story. Chapters will be around 2.5 thousand words and come out around every weekday.

MY FAKE DUNGEON
Giant doors suddenly appeared all over the world. Alex knowing the truth, now has to wander beyond the doors to save his world. But he realized he alone wasn't enough so he sought help from the others, of which he called them... Players.. _______ A heads up, I'm sure you'd be able to infer from the synopsis, this is something like a dungeon owner mc but I just like to say that there is no heavy litrpg to this even thought the mc calls them players. No system (except for mc?) and no level up like that. Just mc trying to use people for his own good. If I had to describe this novel in three words it be, guns, despair, and monsters. WARNING: I'm a complete amateur at writing and my English sucks so.. yahh.. I will post these on other sites such as webnovel and scribblehub as well.
