《My Little Husky Assistant》Chapter 8: His Final Battle

Tsukiyama stood on one knee, using his katana as a support. He spat out blood then wept his mouth with his hand. The vampires grinned at him, watching him slowly raise up. He laughed at the vampires then attacked them with a great speed that even the vampires couldn't see him wielding his katana and the rusted pole. He impaled both of the vampire's hearts then recited some spell which made his weapons cursed even without contracting any demons. They immediately turned to gold dust.
Nobara ran on the first floor of the palace whilst shooting bullets to the huge vampire which ran in the opposite direction on the platform of the opposite side. She hid behind a pillar and rested for a while. She inserted more bullets into the empty shell of the pistol.
The huge vampire cut the pillar right above her head then she ducked and turned to the vampire. Aiming for its chest, she pulled the trigger of her pistols, penetrating its heart with two sharp bullets. The vampire dropped its four katanas then vomited blood then immediately burst to gold dust. She went to the staircase and called Tsukiyama to climb the staircase. They managed to kill three nobles for which two more noble vampires left to slay.
They went through the long hallway back to back of each other; Tsukiyama looked ahead and Nobara looked at the back. They were both cautious, quietly, Nobara burped. Tsukiyama quickly turned back.
"Forgive me," Nobara apologised.
They continued their jaunt further to the vampire's lair, the garden. Vampires resided there, wandering and building their hamlet. Nobara and Tsukiyama hid behind the baroque marble fence. They looked down through the gap of the thick fence. Tsukiyama stared at Nobara's huge and voluminous brown leather bag which she carried everywhere.
"Nobara, did you bring it in your bag?" Tsukiyama whispered softly.
Nobara nodded, then continued examining the crowds of vampires, searching for the lord. She opened her bag then took out a long M134 machine gun slowly without making any sound. Tsukiyama opened his eyes widely. He blinked his big round eyes with tiny irises as he watched Nobara take out not just the M134 but other assault rifles and bombs. He couldn't believe with his own eyes that she had a bag like Doraemon's pocket which fit everything.
He ordered her to take the M134 be and some hand grenades with her and wait for his signal. She nodded, then left Tsukiyama alone.
Tsukiyama set up an AX-308 lime coloured sniper and used it single binocular to see further in search of noble vampires. He leant back with great shock. The VSO informed him only the first five vampires when they were actually more of them. He saw five noble vampires in white with golden lace robes bossing the lower class vampires to do their work. He learnt that the vampires were building a workshop or an enormous machine and a place to keep living livestock. He saw living humans in ragged and filthy clothes, taken as hostages. Each hand was cuffed with long silver chains connecting each of them. The vampires whipped them as one of them tripped.

Tsukiyama raised one hand, pointing his index finger to the crowd of vampires carrying piles of metal pipe which were tied together with cable. Nobara, who was standing behind a pillar, saw the hand gesture from a hundred metres away. She nodded then quickly threw three smoke bombs onto the ground floor from the balcony on the second floor. She bit the ring of the hand grenade then immediately threw it into the white fog below creating a huge explosion. She picked up the M134 then started shooting whatever was down there. The ground fog was rained with bullets.
Like in a military battlefield, the garden was loud, the loud sound of the machine gun and the clackity metallic ringing sound of its used bullet fell on the tiled floor. Tsukiyama held his katana and another katana he took from the vampire and charged into the smoky fog, avoiding the rain of bullets from the second floor. He escaped to the sidewalk of the garden where the view was clear and immediately slashed any vampires in his view then they perished into dust.
Three noble vampires were waiting for his arrival ahead. He immediately wielded both of his katanas to the vampire but they were able to dodge his invasion. His katanas induced sparks as they rubbed harshly with the vampire's sharp sword with golden and antique handles. He jumped back then breathed heavily. He charged to the vampire again and wielded and swung his katanas like a dojo master.
As the fog cleared, Nobara stopped firing and started searching for Tsukiyama. She watched Tsukiyama fighting two noble vampires alone. She took a hand grenade from under her feet, pulled off its ring with her teeth then threw it in Tsukiyama's direction.
"Tsukiyama!" Warned Nobara a few seconds before the hand grenade reached the ground.
Tsukiyama retreated from his fight and sprinted away from the vampires. The hand grenade exploded before the vampire could start running. Their bodies exploded into smaller pieces then turned to golden dust. Tsukiyama chased a female noble vampire which escaped from the rain of bullets and the explosion.
Nobara ran to the first floor where Tsukiyama set up the sniper then used it to shoot the vampires who were in charge of whipping the living humans. She shot them to death then rescued the humans. She ordered them to follow the route she told them then ordered them to stay outside of the palace. Ten men and seven women left the palace immediately as there were no threats from the vampire as they all were dead.

Nobara ran back to the first floor and packed her bag then searched for Tsukiyama with M134 in her arms. She went to a hallway on the first floor of the palace. She walked slowly on the broken tiles with its pieces still scattered nearby it. Crack walls and the flickering lamp still hanging on the crack ceiling. The friezes at the top of the walls were broken and some had fallen and broken into pieces on the floor. She dashed straight ahead as she heard Tsukiyama's screaming voice.
His screaming voice led her to a huge music room. She watched Tsukiyama's bleeding face raised to the air with one arm by the vampire. The vampire strangled him whilst his legs kicking and swinging in every direction to catch air. Nobara shot the vampire's elbow with her machine gun, sending her arm flying in the air. Tsukiyama fell on the floor and coughed. The female vampire looked at Nobara then grinned.
Four pairs of tentacles with the head of eyeless dragon grew from her back. The tentacles expanded in length and attacked Nobara in every direction. Nobara kept rolling and hopping flexibly like a gymnast as the tentacles kept attacking her.
Tsukiyama took the opportunity to stab the vampire's heart with his katana as she was busy attacking Nobara. The vampire numbed then vomited blood. Tsukiyama fell weakly then Nobara came to fetch him. The vampire took out the katana then smiled. Tsukiyama was surprised and ordered Nobara to retreat as he was heavily bleeding. The vampire lethally stabbed his chest multiple times with her tentacles.
"Tsukiyama!" Nobara screamed then embraced him.
"Save yourself and the refugees, this vampire is no mere vampire," he vomited more blood.
Nobara threw a smoke bomb from her bag then dragged Tsukiyama out of the room as quickly as she could. Tsukiyama was too weak to even move on his own. Nobara stopped with lacrimation then continued dragging Tsukiyama, leaving traces of blood.
"We will live together, it's your promise for us to live together. We will get married once everything is settled, right?" Nobara sobbed slowly.
She stopped and fell. She was too weak and Tsukiyama was too heavy for her to lift. Tsukiyama slowly wept her tears with his thumb. He stared sleazily at her eyes then smiled. He stared at the ceilings then put Nobara's hand on his chest full of holes.
"Lord Satan, God of Hell, the greatest demon. I now grant thee my soul as I shall live forever as a demon. My devotion should not come to waste, use me as a weapon to save life, not to waste it on innocent people," Tsukiyama devoted himself to the demon.
"No, no no, Tsukiyama, what have you done!" She cried.
"Nobara, forgive me, I sold my soul and body to the demon a long time ago and we will be together, always. I've fulfilled my vow," he smiled then closed his eyes slowly and he stopped inhaling air.
Nobara embraced his dead body and cried. Black shadow exuded from the core of his heart and his body rotted; his flesh burnt to ashes leaving a skeleton on her arms. The dust and the skeleton combined into a circle then turned into a black shadow with glowing red eyes. A long sharp blade-like tongue stuck out of its huge mouth with pointed lips and licked her blood. Tsukiyama had become a demon and chose Nobara as his master. He transformed into Tsukiyama back but he was wearing butler outfits and his light brown eyes glowed red. He stood on one knee and took Nobara's hand.
"Command me, my master," Tsukiyama asked.
Nobara wept away her tears, "be my bullet!"
Tsukiyama transformed into a black smoke which then formed a black shadowy katana. The vampire of before approached from the ceiling above her. Without hesitation, Nobara struck the katana at its heart deeper and deeper. The vampire fell back then screamed and wailed out loud. She froze and petrified into a stone then broke into pieces then turned to dust.
"That's the story and luckily, Tsukiyama has totally forgotten his former self," Nobara ended her story.
Yuu clapped his paws together then wept his tears. Tsukiyama clapped his hands with a perplexity drawn on his face.
"It was a very sad story, indeed," Yuu complimented.

The answer to that question is a resounding no. To one side, humanity is boxed in by an ancient empire whose light has burned up long ago. To the other, is a federation of alien races known as the Senate. Mankind rejoiced the knowledge that they were not the only life in a cold dark galaxy. But as first contact was made, ET's who transited into the Warp seemed to disappear without a trace, technologies traded with the other races malfunctioned or refused to work entirely, and simple translation errors led to grave misunderstandings. Before long, humanity was outcasted by the Senate and relationships soured, but even still the sons and daughters of Terra worked hard to earn the respect and trust of the Xeno's.

Gamer
I am making this story as a revamp, edit, and transformation of the legendary gamer into something that can be better related to. I have done some work on writing, and also put more work into preparing the introductory thoughts. I will have a bare minimum of weekly updates, but there may be more depending on how much time I have. This story will follow Gregory Jeffrey Drake, a young man whose life is partially micromanaged by his parents, and in time will come to be a powerful character in his own story. For now though, the main focus for Gregory is to grow and find his place in this new world he has been dropped into. Gregory gained a new type of class, and must use it if he hopes to stay alive and make the world a better place.
