Ame: damn, that hurt.

Hiro: You ok?

Ame: Yah i'm good.

???: But not for long.

A red beam fires toward them. Ame barely dodges it and they look up at this average, plain looking man holding a gun like weapon. He places the gun in his holster.

Ame: And you are?

???: The names Cubi.

Ame: Well you're not a very good shot Cubi.

Cubi: That's because it was a warning shot. Not very gentleman like to attack when your opponent isn't ready.

Ame: How chivalrous.

Cubi: Indeed.

He brings his right hand up, and a see through cube starts to form above his hand.

Cubi: Watch out.

He throws this floating cube at them. They look at each other and jump away. The cube hits the ground and enlarges, enveloping the ground in itself. The cube shrinks, leaving a corner of the cube shaped crater. They look at each other in shock.

Cubi: My arcana, Cubix allows me to make these cubes, and I can completely control what's inside. From changing the material on a subatomic level, to completely erasing what's inside.

Ame: That's… Powerful.

Cubi: Indeed

Hiro summons his katana and dashes in as fast he can. Cubi shifts his gaze, crosses arms and whips them to his sides, creating a large cube. Hiro stops before running into it. Cubi puts his arm out with his finger facing down, flicks his hand up, and thrusts his wrist forward. Causing it to become a rectangle that grows toward Hiro. Hiro quickly runs to the right, but his pinky finger tip gets caught in the rectangle, severing itself like butter. He grabs his finger and cries out in pain. Cubi motions his hands. Hiros floating fingertips skin peels off like butter leaving only the bone. The flesh forms a small ball and condenses. Suddenly it creates an explosion, sending the bone rocketing into Hiros carotid artery. He swiftly rises his hands to his neck as he coughs intensely, the coughs having a gurgling sound.

Ame: How the fuck do we beat this guy?!

Hiro looks over, He begins running in again.

Ame: Hiro! What are you doing?!

Cubi creates the square like last time. Instead Hiro leaps into the air. Cubi looks up in shock, not expecting such a simple move. He lands behind him. Cubi turns around but is met by a deep slash to the stomach. Cubi stumbles back a bit, and lifts his hand to trap hiro in a cube. Swiftly Ame tackles Hiro out of the way. They both get up and look at him. He crosses his arms, as a large cube goes around himself. The dirt below him rises, and places itself in the wound, before changing to flesh and blood. Effectively healing.

Cubi: You surprised me there, didn't know you could leap so high. However, you will need much more than that.

He creates a large cube that envelopes the ground. He lifts it out, and as it's floating the dirt begins swirling. It begins condensing into a small crystal. A diamond. The diamond begins falling, the point facing Ame and Hiro. He swiftly pulls out his lazer gun, and fires at the diamond. As the lazer hits it, it begins to heat up, before shattering. As it shatters the lazer he had shot releases multiple beams in shotgun fashion. The many beams fired at them, with their speed made them practically undodgeable. The beams pierced through them many times over. As they fall over backward, they are both severely injured.

Ame: Hiro, can you stand.

Hiro nods hesitantly, as he cannot speak.

Ame: Good. Just attack him head on.

Hiro looks over concerned.

Ame: Do you trust me?

He looks at her for a moment, and nods. He gets up, bleeding from everywhere. Left hand stopping the blood from his neck. He raises his sword.

Cubi: So you can still fight. Impressive. Now die!

Hiro runs in and as he does cubi makes a large square to cover for jumping.

Cubi: Begone, return to nothingness! OBLITERATE.

Ame jumps from behind him, he looks back and sees her coming in for a kick. It's too late for him to react, and he gets kicked into his square, and bumps Hiro out of it. His eyes widen as he falls. His body starts to grow before bursting. Coating the walls of the cube in red. The cube disappears, and the blood falls to the ground. Ame runs over with her med kit and tries to help Hiro.
