Chapter 24. Heart Hot. My body was getting hotter, a heat was slowly building up. The air got hotter as the wind picked up, even though there should be none. I became the eye of the storm as the mana raged around me, drilling into me. It felt as if I had just gained a whole new set of veins, it hurt but felt complete. The mana reached my heart but it appears that bloodthirster and the white thingy also needed some. The suction doubled and it kept increasing, starting to take a toll on my body. My weapon got satisfied after a minute or two but the other one was just endless. And if it did not stop my body would break, unable to handle all the pressure. I did not know how to stop it so I just talked. "I... will give you more later, just stop for now." And to my surprise, I did hear a sound as it slowed down, slowly coming to a stop. The pace at which mana entered my body returned to normal. The mana was still entering my heart but it was being absorbed by the heart itself, not anything else. The mana and blood mixed, accepting each other as they were sides of the coin. Nor fusing but neither rejecting. The blood in the first veins and the mana in the second was now being replaced by this mixture simultaneously. Again my body adapting to as if it was waiting for it, knowing that it was about to happen. This was big. The same amount you get for leveling up six times after rising above fifteen and leveling was hard after getting here. I had nearly spent a decade worth of time in this tower to earn thirty levels, though most of time was spent completing task. If not I could have leveled up faster. And from how I interpreted it, the amount was just going to increase from this point onward. Skills will probably be available after leveling up once and that was honestly fine for now. Most of my skills were close to maxing out, which I was going to concentrate on until they did, and then focus on the new ones. I did have thirty stats left so distributed how they were back when I was level fifteen in the first class. Intelligence and Wisdom were brought up to twenty, spending ten points. Endurance and Vitality get another five because they are important and Perception gets the last ten just because I like that stat. My bloodline did not awaken fully, once again, but it was getting closer. It was just that the notification before me was quite troubling. [Select one item that you wish to take out from the Tower.] Like I had nothing on me that I could out. My axe was inside me, that just sounds weird but you know what I mean, and so the white thing. "Now why does it keep asking this, what can I take- oh wait the old man, the ring he gave me!" I had completely forgotten about this ring because I never got to use it, "You said I would get it old man but I still don't, how do I use this?" Still, I thought about choosing the ring and the message changed. [Do you wish to select the Storage Ring?] I thought yes and a timer appeared this time.
