PHASE 14 - HE IS A LEWD GODDESS!

Rikkun said that all he saw in his was a funeral with Kristoff’s name and picture on the coffin. There are no other details about his incoming death. I guess Rikkun’s Guardian Ability is just good in giving hints on some future events.

But still, we have to ready ourselves in the tournament. We have to train hard in order to win the God Core and also prevent Kristoff’s death (provided that he will not die due to uncool ways such as road accidents and diseases.)

The Aether Crusade is divided into two teams: The Tournament Team, which is led by Kristoff, and the Investigation Team which is led by Rikkun.

It is only logical for us to pick Mister Kristoff as a leader because he has more experience in battling than any of us. I may have been a Gate Guardian longer than he is, but I’ve been shut from the outside world until I turned sixteen. Kristoff already fought Eidolons when he was at his early teens, and he’s really strong and smart!

That is why he is taking up the role of our Field Commander in the upcoming Gate Guardians Tournament.

Right now, we are showcasing our skills in this vast red desert of the parallel dimension Yami. Hunting a Level 3 Eidolon would be the best way to demonstrate our battle prowess.

GROOOOOOHHHH!!!

That is the growl of the seven-meter tall griffon we are facing. Its feathers are gold that gives bizarre reflections of the blood moon. It has wide yellow wings like those of an eagle. Its talons are scimitars capable of slicing bones like butter. Its vicious eyes glared at us as if it is a falcon ready to swipe away its prey.

The griffon flew above our heads and circled. It’s waiting for us to make the first move.

“Heushac, Benedict, Drex, frontline!” Kristoff shouted. At his command, the three made a centered stance with their swords and maces respectively.

Kristoff arced his body and raised his bow, making a disciplined aiming stance. As soon as he exhaled, he muttered these words: “”

When he released the arrow, it was suddenly flamed and turned into a glowing green rocket! It chased the Eidolon in the vast skies and hit its left wing!

The griffon cried as it slowly lost its altitude and landed in front of us. Angered, the monster opened its beaks and charged a crimson ball of flames!

“Tiara!” Kristoff turned to me.

“Right! All of you, get behind me!” I tapped the tip of my staff to the floor as I shouted: “!!!”

A gigantic turtle shell made up of pure prana materialized in front of us that shielded everyone from the incoming sphere of fire! Smoke filled the area, and it made hard for everyone to see.

“Emily, clear it up! Frontlines, attack!” Kristoff commanded.

“!!!” Emily used her drill-tail to cast a tornado drill above us which cleared the dust and smoke in the air.

GROOOOOOH!!! The griffon revealed itself!

“Haaaaaaaah!!!” Heushac, Benedict, and Drex immediately took their opportunity to attack! Heushac and Benedict stabbed their swords to the paws of the Eidolon so that it will stay pinned to the ground, and Drex made a gigantic leap and mauled the chicken head with his large mace!

Pang!

Now that the enemy is utterly stunned, it’s time for the finishing attack of Kristoff! He charged another set of prana on his bow and released the energy all in one go!

“!!!”

Swoosh! A hundred arrows were fired consecutively like a machine gun. With the help of Kristoff’s Guardian Ability , he was able to hit the griffon’s forehead, in the very same spot, over and over, never missing any single shot!

The Eidolon cannot take any more hits, so it just exploded!

The next thing we saw is a single Quintessence, floating above the ground where the griffon should be.

“We did it!” Heushac cried.

“Hooray!” Everybody cheered.

“Not so fast!”

“Huh?”

When we turned around, we saw the blonde beauty… I mean handsome… I don’t know, I don’t want to offend him. Anyway, it was Eliseo who grabbed our attention and is casually walking like a beauty queen and currently cross-dressed with a short skirt. She moves sassier than us girls.

“You guys are fighting Gate Guardians in the tournament, and not Eidolons. You should find somebody to spar with you… somebody… like me~”

Eliseo made an evil smirk, and then he shouted: “!!!”

Giant pillar of light spawned upon him, and when the dazzling tower faded, he was a new divine entity.

She is the literal goddess of beauty. ‘She’, because he transformed into a real woman. She has these gigantic watermelon breasts that bounced every time she breathes. She’s even technically naked, as she only had her blonde Rapunzel-long hair wrap her body to cover her sensitive parts. The thickness of her own hair makes it possible to form a revealing gown that covers her body.

Maybe the only clothing she’s wearing is the bladed Athenian boots which serve as her Weapon Gem.

“This may just be sparring, but don’t go easy on me, guys~” Lord Venus winked with her pink eyes as she bent over, showcasing her butt. “Give me all you got~”

“Get ready, this is a tough one!” Kristoff shouted. Everybody readied their weapons. “Frontlines, surround her!”

Heushac, Benedict, and Drex made a triangle formation around the Roman Goddess of Beauty with their guards up. Lord Venus may not be a battle-type, but she’s still a goddess. We don’t know what powers she got on her arsenal.

“Oh, you want a foursome? I’ll give you some~” Lord Venus’ seductive voice echoed. “~”

Lord Venus danced gracefully as a swan, and as soon as she spun, her hair bent out, revealing her whole naked body! Dazzling holy light flashed upon their faces! It was just for an instant, but that Eliseo is certainly bold and lewd!

Boom! All three boys gushed out blood from their nose like a water pump! Heushac, Benedict, and Drex fell down on the floor without getting hit by anything!

“I-Impossible... “ Kristoff muttered. He may be several meters away, but Lord Venus managed to seduce him. He’s holding his bleeding nose.

“That’s unfair, Lord Venus!” I cried.

“Everything is fair in love and war~” Lord Venus made a flying kiss.

“I… I yield!” Kristoff dematerialized his bow and raised his hands up. “There’s no way I can fight a fine lady like you.”

“Kristoff!” , “Mister Kristoff!” Emily and I cried. Our jaws hanged.

“Oh, good~” Lord Venus chuckled like a shy princess. “Now it’s just the girls~”

Emily bent over as she aimed her drill-tail, and I made a boxing stance as I shift to my gauntlets. Now, this battle can only be decided by the two of us females since we can’t be affected by her charms!

“!!!” , “!!!”

Suddenly, Lord Venus skated with her bladed heels, sliding left and right to evade our fire tornado and swirling energy dragon!

“You girls forgot that my Guardian Ability is , which makes me able to read all your thoughts! I can easily evade all your attacks with ease!”

Lord Venus managed to close the distance and breakdanced as she spun with her helicopter legs!

“!!!”

“Uwah!”

“Kyah!”

The two of us girls was launched to the air and rolled to the ground. We’re utterly defeated!

No. I’m wrong.

There is a lone survivor.

With a will of iron and irrevocable non-attractiveness to the opposite sex, he stands. He is the baby brother of the deceased sword princess and the man who always stinks. He has the unshakeable guts and the power of the blazing heart.

He is Heushac Efilion.

He withstood the pain of having a nosebleed. With little red blood cells left on his veins, he managed to stand and raise his sword.

“L-Lord Venus, huh…” Heushac muttered. “My Guardian Ability is , which makes me immune to psychological attacks. Even if you’re a goddess, I can bring you down!”

“Ohoho~” Lord Venus bent over and winked to the lone survivor. “Let’s see how long you can last against me~”

This is the best battle of the century! A goddess against a warrior! Who will win? Can Heushac endure Lord Venus’ neverending charm? Or will he lose all his blood before he can give a single blow?
