PHASE 27 - I DON’T WANT TO GET HURT SO I GOT AN ARMOR WITH MAX DEFENSE
Chronos and Poseidon are the ones leading the four other cursed gods and goddesses on their army, and I’ll take my leisure time to describe each and every one of them.
The first one is Dike, the Greek Goddess of Justice. She is a tall woman, with curly black hair, and green eyes. She looks like a young adult beauty covered with long white robes and she’s equipped with a staff that has a golden scale on its tip. She would be a perfect paragon among everyone, but she’s a Cursed Guardian too.
The second one is the Norse God of Thunder, Thor. Contrary to the depictions in the comics and movies, Thor is a large fat man with ginger hair and beard, horned Vikings helmet, and large biceps. He smells like a rotten burger and wine, which immediately destroys my childhood dream of becoming him as my favorite superhero.
The third one is the Goddess of Spring, Eirene. This goddess has golden blonde hair, golden blonde wings, and she has this bouquet of gold-and-red flowers as her weapon. I don’t know how she can fight with that, but I can’t just underestimate her. She’s a goddess too, so I don’t know how a goddess of spring can do.
The fourth one is the Goddess of Youth, Hebe. This goddess has long black hair with a maroon headband. She’s wearing a brownish-red long robe that looks like a gown, and she has this golden grail as her weapon. The golden cup contains a black bubbly substance like cola, but it’s much gooey than most of the carbonated drinks in the market.
There are six Cursed Gods in front of me, and they are having my future teacher as their hostage. I don’t know how can I save Macho Steel from Chronos, but I still have to fight them. There’s no going back.
“Oh, we have a new prey.” Hebe looked at me with her crimson eyes with a seductive glare. Then she sipped the yucky cola on her golden grail.
“Good! More cockroaches to smash!” Thor laughed like a vomiting dog.
As the six gods gazed at me, I gripped my fists. I locked my eyes on Chronos who is still dragging the defeated Macho Steel by the neck.

“You… You are wearing the Aether Armor.” Chronos muttered. “I don’t know who you are, or how you managed to use the Weapon Gem, but I somehow know that you are not on our side.”
“Leave Macho Steel alone,” I muttered as I clenched my fist.
I won’t wait for his answer. With a single tap of my mechanical boot, everything became dark. A silver streak was created in the middle of the darkness, and then when the darkness faded, I was already at the back of that dark bald god Chronos.
“What the hell was that!?” Chronos muttered as soon as he realized that Macho Steel is no longer on his grasps.
I have rescued my future teacher from that cursed divine being. I gently laid down the unconscious Khal to the ground when suddenly, a dark gate opened.
“Don’t worry, Not-Aeternus.” Yohan has made his appearance with that irritating smirk on his face. “I’ll take care of Mister Kent.”
“Please heal him. He has severe injuries. If possible, I want you to use your Heavenly Blade to revert him back to being a normal human so that he can retire from this chaotic job.” I said.
“Will do,” Yohan said. “But how about the six gods in front of you?”
“I’ll take care of them myself,” I said as I clenched my fists. The electric sound of my mechanical armor imitated a charging motor noise.
“Bold of you to tell us that thing, mister nobody.” Poseidon laughed as he stabbed the edge of his fork on the ground. “Let’s see how well you do with six Cursed Gods as your enemies.”
“Bring it on,” I said as I turned to them. “I’ll give you thirty seconds to attack. Once the time is over, you wretched gods and goddesses should run for your lives.”
“Stop mocking us, mortal!” Goddess Eirene burst first as she waved her bouquet of flowers towards me. The petals that flew like bullets immediately turned to wooden spikes as she shouted her spell. “!!!”
“” Goddess Hebe poured down the contents of her golden cup on the floor, and the floor became dark lava that rushed towards me like a tsunami.

“!!!” Thor leaped forward, with his humongous hammer striking my head. Lightning surged all around my armor which is supposed to paralyzed anything or anyone it touches.
“!!!” Poseidon waved his trident, and chainsaw-shaped water waved was formed and blasted towards the chest part of my armor. Droplets of clear water rained in the area.
Several sets of explosions echoed the area as a result of directly catching the attack of gods. However, even with their combined efforts, my Aether Armor is yet to be grazed.
“Why isn’t it working!?” Hebe asked in a frustrated tone.
“My hammer won’t even budge him!” Thor cried.
“It’s no use!” Chronos explained. “The Aether Armor is created to freeze the state of the user and the armor itself. No matter how many times we attack, we cannot injure him!”
“How can you be so sure!?” Dike asked.
“I have used my a moment ago to see all the possible outcomes of this battle,” Chronos said. I can see him sweating as he explains it to his allies. “I have seen over a million timelines of the cause and effects of these battles, and I know all their results.”
“So you’ve seen through the future,” Eirene said. “How many times did we win in the other timelines?”
“None.” Chronos trembled.
“Three seconds left,” I said my final warning.
“!!!” Chronos stretched out his hand, aiming at me. In an instant, I was locked in a dark bubble with rotating rings in it. Everything inside the bubble ceased its motion as if time is frozen.
“Run!” Thor cried like a bitch as he signaled the retreat. On his shout, the six gods scattered in every direction like rats. They jumped off from the rooftop of the building, leaving me alone on this battlefield.
“Zero,” I muttered.
I managed to move my feet even if I’m inside the spell. It seems like the time-stopping magic of Chronos does not impair me at all. I can still act freely as if there’s no time freeze.
With the powers of the Aether Armor’s sensor, I can sense the location of the six gods. They may have scattered, but their fleeing direction is the same. They are all trying to regroup to the north.
I jumped from the ten-story building and made a superhero landing to the ground, making a large crater due to the force of the impact. I bent my knees and charged prana on my foot. I closed my eyes and focused my senses on the location of the fleeing gods.
“”
In an instant, everything became dark. The battles of the Gate Guardians and the Cursed Guardians temporarily halted as they can no longer see what is going on. All that’s visible to them is a dashing silver streak that leaves a white-colored rainbow on its trail.
In just a matter of a split-second, I managed to close the distance to the nearest enemy god, Thor. When the darkness faded, he was surprised to see me on his front.
“What the hell! How did you-”
“Call the Avengers,” I muttered.
I immediately tackled him in a Lucha Libre style, dunking his head down to the floor. With the Aether Armor’s power to utilize the God Core of my enemy, I added lightning effects to our smackdown, making the wrestling move look so epic.
Kaboom! A large crater was formed, then an electrifying shockwave pulsed in the area.
“Graaaaack!!!”
That was all the God of Thunder cried before passing out. Without any willpower left to fight, he reverted back to his original Cursed Guardian form, but now absolutely unconscious.
The God Core of Thor immediately floated out from the Cursed Guardian’s heart. With my cybernetic hands, I caught the God Core. Surprisingly, the God Core shattered, and its fragments were immediately absorbed by my mechanized gloves. Lightning energy surged around the veins of my Aether Armor. Various information was injected into my brain that indicates how I can use the powers of the God Core using as a vessel.
“” I muttered.
In an instant, a gigantic war hammer filled with lightning energy materialized on my hand.

Home of Laplace
I opened my eyes to an unfamiliar mountain peak standing tall above me like seeing a skyscraper from the street. Soon the chilling burn of the snow that covered me began to invade my senses and I flung my torso upward, sitting up straight. I grabbed my head in confusion as my eyes surveyed the area around me: The corner of a mountain wall stood menacingly in front of me accompanied by thin, dangerous looking paths on either side. The likes of which only adrenaline-seeking psychopaths would use. I turned my head backwards and felt my heart drop as what looked like an infinitely long freefall met my gaze. I was sitting on the ledge of a snow-covered mountain. "CRKKKK" A heart-shaking croaking sounded from above me further up the mountain and I jolted backwards at the impossibly loud sound. 'Shit, wasn't there nothing behind me?' The sound of cracking stone accompanied the heart dropping sensation of descension. As I plunged down backwards, the last thing I saw was the deep-set brown eyes of that blue-skinned monstrosity further up the mountain. ----------------------------------------------------- Levi Laplace is a former genius biochemistry student that died a simple and laughable death on earth.
