PHASE 57 - THIS LASER CROCODILE SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE JURASSIC PERIOD!

We have successfully transitioned to the other dimension called Yami. We found ourselves in the center of a wide grassland that reflects the light of the crimson moon. There are also floating islands all around us as if this is some kind of a jumping Mario stage.

“I’m finally here again. So this is Yami, huh?”

The blonde prince started to walk forward with his hands touching the grass. He’s definitely surprised that such a breathtaking field is the mirror counterpart of our school which is filled with tall establishments.

“Rikkun, stay with me!” I said as I spread my arm to block him from further wandering. It’s not safe for him to go on his own especially that he has not been baptized as a Gate Guardian yet.

“R-Right! Protect me, oh Tiara-sama!” Rikkun nodded as he tried to hide on my back.

Both of us can hear fast and heavy footsteps from the eastern side of the grasslands. The grasses are tall which makes it hard to locate the enemy, and the Eidolon we’re looking for must be crawling to conceal its movements.

However, it’s nothing for us Gate Guardians. We can pinpoint the enemy’s location using our sixth sense, or seventh sense? I don’t know how many senses we have, but I can definitely find the enemy! It’s just lurking three meters away from us, preparing to attack!

“!!!” I pointed both of my hands to the tall grass, and a bluish energy ball materialized. The orb emitted a straight laser that burned the grasses, the ground, and the Eidolon involved!

“Graaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaach!!!” The Eidolon, who appears to be a seven-meter-long crocodile was sent to the air.

“There you are!” I leaped forward with my quick and nimble feet, trying to make a follow-up attack and make a combo! “!!!”

While the Eidolon was in midair, I drifted on top of it and prepared a huge amount of prana in my right hand. I made a full pinwheel spin as I charged my fist into a dragon claw and then mercilessly smashed it to the enemy’s backbone!

“Graaaagh!” It was a short cry for the enemy, for the rest of its screams are covered by the sound of exploding rocks on the ground. I have successfully created a crater as soon as the crocodile crashed.

I know that the enemy is not finished yet, so I charged my other fist with prana once again. “” I whispered to myself as I buffed my hands with dragon head-shaped aura. “Haaaaah!”

Boom! A louder earthquake shook the ground, and earth chunks flew away. Because of the powerful rocket landing, I made with my fist, the smoke-filled up the area.

However…

The enemy is not there.

“Cough! Cough!” I coughed out loud. The dust went to my lungs and it’s really my fault. I’m doing so many powerful attacks that I’m no longer considering my wellbeing or even Rikkun’s.

“Tiara, on the west! Fifty meters!” Rikkun shouted out loud. He must be spectating the fight and saw the enemy.

When the smoke cleared, I finally got a perfect look at the Eidolon. This time, the crocodile is now standing on two feet. The crocodile evolved into a dinosaur!

“Graaaaaaach!!!” The two-legged crocodile cried out loud. I sensed a lot of evil energy gathering around it as if this Yami dimension is his power source. It’s like vacuuming all the corrupted prana in the air.

“Wha… What was that!?” I cried. I’ve never seen any Eidolon like that before. At first look, I could sense that its power is just at Level 2 but now it’s readying to go off the charts and transform beyond Level 3!

My eyes were opened round and wide as I noticed a familiar sight. At the crocodile’s forehead, a third eye opened. This third eye is much more terrifying than those in paranormal shows as this eye has layers, and each layer represents a color of a rainbow.

It’s the very same third eye that Necross Hades has!

“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACH!!!” The Eidolon cried as it grasped for more power.

The short arms of the crocodile started to elongate itself and mold it into a humanoid. The same happened on its feet. Spikes spawned on its spine and even shoulders. Two horns started to grow from its head, and there are also dragon-like wings that spawned from its back. Now the dinosaur has evolved into a dragon!

The enemy is continuing its transformation, and I’m not going to wait for it to power up any longer. I ran like a ninja to close in the distance and then charged my fist with prana!

“!!!” I launched a golden dragon when I already reached an effective range of twenty meters. The golden dragon surged forward, ready to swallow the enemy whole!

“GRAAAAAAACH!!!” The Eidolon opened its mouth and charged a white orb on its mouth. After half of a second, it launched the orb that completely blasted my !

“!!!” I buffed my body with electricity as I surged with the speed of a racing car. I made a crescent turn and then decided to attack the enemy’s left side with a straight hook! “Haaaaaaa!”

Boom! A shockwave echoed. My fist definitely hit, however, the enemy blocked my attack with its palm. It didn’t have any slightest effect of causing an injury!

“Haaaa! Hyaaaah!” I followed up with one, two, three consecutive punches, but all of it was blocked by the agile hand of the dragon. I can’t believe that even with the enhanced speed of , this Eidolon can still easily block my attack!

“GRACH!” The Eidolon spun for one turn and smashed its spiky tail to my left. In the nick of time, I blocked it with my arms but the force was so powerful that it made me lose my ground!

“Kyah!” I cried shortly as I found myself rolling on the grassy soil, bending the tall grass around in the process. The spikes have wounded my arms and now blood is oozing out. Seriously, what’s wrong with this Eidolon! It’s ridiculously overpowered!

“Tiara!” Rikkun cried as he ran and tried to come for my rescue.

“Rikkun, stay back!” I shouted out loud. Rikkun is at his weakest as of this moment, and I can’t afford him to go near.

Since it has come to this, I don’t need to hold back anymore, do I? The enemy’s power level is over 9000 already, and its level is beyond 3. It’s just a matter of time before it turns to Level 4 and by then it will be too late.

I have to use all I have in this fight!

“With determination, I will never give up!” I made a warcry as I pumped my fist. I channeled prana from the atmosphere and engulfed myself into divine energy. With this, I will use my to obliterate the enemy!

However…

I did not become a demigoddess. I succeeded in gathering prana in the surroundings, but I failed to convert it to divine energy. There’s not the slightest sign of divinity on me.

“E-Eh?” I was shocked. I looked at my hand and then at my body and tried to figure out what’s wrong.

And then I finally realized one grave mistake I made. Since the timeline has been reset, I can no longer use anymore. The only thing I recovered from the past timeline is my memories, and not physical or magical characteristics. That just means I’m back to being a weakling. Gosh, I’m such an idiot!

“GRAAAAACH!!!” The crocodile-dinosaur-dragon flapped its wings until it reached ten meters above. It charged another white orb on its mouth, preparing for an attack.

That attack is not pointed at me. It’s directed to Rikkun!

“Oh shit!” Rikkun finally saw the enemy’s plans and started to run sideward. His speed as of this moment is quite problematic, so he will still be hit by that dragon’s blaster!

“Rikkun!” I cried out loud as I sprinted with full force. Activating once again, I blasted towards Rikkun with full agility and strength.

Please let me reach him on time! I can’t afford to see him die once again!

Everything happened so fast that I failed to recognize what I did in the last milliseconds.

The blaster that the Eidolon unleashed is much wider and more powerful than before. It split up the land, making a fissure straight to the planet core of this dimension.

“Hah… hah… hah...” I desperately grabbed for air. I felt that energy was quickly leaving my body. I can feel that some of my body parts are numb, but most of my skin felt burnt. However, I can still make a smile.

I made it in time. I saved the person I love.

Dipped on my bountiful chest is the face of the man I adored the most. He blushed when he realized that he was deeply dipped in my breast, but his expression changed when he saw my whole body.

I sat on my knees as my energy was completely depleted. I’m in bad shape. I can feel warm blood oozing from my forehead. I can also feel the broken rib I got inside. I got second-degree burns on my back that I can no longer command my body to move anymore.

“T-Tiara… Tiara!” Rikkun cried. “W-Why… Why did you go so far to save me!?”

“Ahaha…” I weakly made a fake laugh. “I will do everything… to save you… my love… Toujours et à Jamais...”

Before I could fall down and pass out, I pressed my face forward to the man I loved for seven million timelines and gave him a kiss to the lip.
