PHASE 93 - CHIVALRY OF THE BIG SIS KNIGHT

“Helena-senpai…” I muttered the name of the person who was a dear big sister to me for the past years. For an obvious reason, I feel like not worthy enough to call the swordswoman in her first name, as her little brother died because of my fault.

Helena, who is power buffed with four God Cores, glanced to me who is still clinging on Rikkun’s neck. She pointed her sword at me and tilted it to point the ground.

“You there, get off Alaric,” Helena said. “I want him to fight me with full power.”

“No,” Rikkun said with his cybernetic voice.

“I SAID GET OFF!!!” Helena roared, and lightning sparks blasted away that made a weak shockwave in the area. She’s certainly furious that Rikkun is not obedient.

It seems to me that Helena is not after my head but after my lover’s life. She wants revenge on what Rikkun did to Heushac. And knowing how honorful and just Helena is, she wanted to avenge with the enemy having no handicaps. Even though Rikkun is capable of defeating enemies in just one hand, Helena would’ve wanted to fight him in full force otherwise.

“Rikkun… Please do what Helena says.” I whispered.

It took mere three seconds before Rikkun made a decision. He must have used his to see any mischievous intent on Helena. When he realized that Helena will not lay a hand on me, he gently put me down on my own feet.

The broken handcuffs are still on my wrists, which means I can’t use any of my Gate Guardian powers. It would be bad if other Gate Guardians assault me.

Suddenly, Helena raised her hand, pointing at me. “!!!” She shouted.

In an instant, I was engulfed inside a transparent spherical barrier. After using the spell, Helena then shouted towards her allies.

“All of you, do not interfere! Do not hurt Tiara as long as I’m not done with Alaric!”

The Gate Guardians, including Rainbow Freya, was astounded. Helena’s chivalry is to be praised even in this chaotic situation where they are all trying hard to capture me and Rikkun.

There they are, the two knights ready to fight to the death. Alaric Eisenhower versus Helena Efilion. Rikkun knows Helena’s full potential as he was killed by her power in the previous book. He can’t take Helena lightly as this point as multiple God Cores tend to square up the power of the beholder.

“!!!” Helena made her first move as she blasted forward with lightning speed. Her giant sword intended to thrust through Rikkun’s chest, and to power it up, she buffed it with lightning energy! “!!!”

“” Rikkun raised his hand to create an astral shield that blocked the lightning sword!

“That’s not enough!” Helena cried. “!!!”

A blue thunder blasted from the heavens and coated Helena’s sword with pure divinity. With such power-up, she managed to shatter Rikkun’s astral shield in a split second, and intended to connect another set of sword slash!

“Hyaaaah! Horeyah!” Helena cried as she made swift hacks, thrusts, and smashes.

However, Rikkun could completely read her moves with the help of . Rikkun just evaded all of it by sliding to the left and right. When Helena’s attack was about to smash his head, Rikkun caught the lightning blade with his fingers, completely unhurt with the attack.

“Tsk!” Helena clicked her tongue as she withdraws and jumps backward. She’s eternally pissed that Rikkun is taking lightly of her. “Let’s see if your arrogance is as high as your armor! !!!”

Mixing the power of Zeus, Odin, Vishnu, and Mars, Helena pointed her sword towards Rikkun. Her weapon turned into a long magical spear which was buffed with destructive lightning, protective barrier, and flying swords of warfare. In an instant, she launched this spear towards Rikkun who didn’t move an inch.

A white light flashed on all eyes watching this fight. The divine blaster that Helena unleashed splashed through Rikkun’s Aether Armor like a spoon catching a stream of faucet water. All Rikkun did is to block the attack with his hand.

“Don’t take lightly of me!!!” Helena furiously roared as she unleashed another godly spear. !!!”

The blaster hit Rikkun again, but it did not do any damage.

“!!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!!”

Helena spamming her ultimate attack is terrifying. All things evaporate on its wake when that blaster comes in. One of those attacks could destroy an entire city, but Rikkun is just casually blocking the beams with minimal effort. Since the power of Helena’s God Cores is squared, she is able to unleash sixteen times so she can just thoughtlessly go on a rampage with that.

(Four times four equal sixteen, right? I’m quite bad at math, ahahaha...)

“Gah… Damn it.” Helena unleashed smoke from her mouth as she released her fifteenth blaster. She stuck her sword to the ground, indicating that she’s quite a lot weaker to support herself. “Just how durable is that freaking thing…”

Rikkun slowly walked forward with his crystal-clear sword on hand. When he is already at about ten meters distance, he positioned his sword to unleash a blaster attack, as if it is time for his payback!

“My turn. !!!” A bluish light beam was unleashed from Rikkun’s icicle sword.

Helena raised her sword which unleashed an invisible barrier that protected her from the ! With Vishnu’s protective powers, all attacks are also deemed useless to her!

“You’re not the only one who’s invincible, Alaric!” Helena laughed.

However, Helena’s celebration is short-sighted. Rikkun already knows how to defeat Helena long before this fight has started. He knew her weakness during the fight in the last season, and he can utilize it well in this situation.

“” Rikkun’s left arm spread out his fingers, and his fingers unleashed golden astral chains that immediately struck Helena’s heart.

“Grah!” Helena cried as she felt her divinity levels getting lower.

The God Chains render the enemy’s God Core unusable, which means Helena would turn back into her base form in an instant. Her armor just dissolved and all was left on her is her skinny blue battle suit.

Mercilessly, Rikkun pulled the chains stuck on his hand to drag Helena. Not disturbed of this harsh punishment, Helena raised her sword ready to bash Rikkun’s head in the right moment when she gets close enough.

“Hyaaaaaaaaaah!!!”

Helena’s shout echoed as she brings down her sword. It was a clean hit on Rikkun’s head. However, such an attack is rendered ineffective on Rikkun’s demonic liger-shaped helmet. All it did was to make a powerful clang.

Rikkun dematerialized his sword on his right hand and proceeded to grab Helena by her neck. With the strength on his fingers, he slowly crushed Helena’s windpipes making her squirm.

“Kuh...ack! Aaahck!” Helena is losing oxygen on her lungs.

“Rikkun, stop!” I cried out loud.

I was so happy when my voice reached out to him to bring back his consciousness. The crimson glow on his eyes flickered.

Rikkun immediately threw Helena’s near-dead body to the ground. His face is covered with his helmet, but I know Rikkun is relieved that I stopped him from killing Helena.

We failed a small detail in this fight. Since Helena has been defeated, her divine powers are now nullified. Her barrier that has been covering me has dissolved completely, and now I’m susceptible to any threats.

The first one to realize is our ally who was now the worst enemy; Rainbow Freya. She managed to sneak in behind my back, readying her twin longswords to slash my neck. It was all too late when I noticed it.

“Tiara!” Rikkun cried.

“E-Eh?”
