《Angel's Song: Requiem of the Dreams》89. Back to the dungon! Huzzah... (II)

The day quickly progressed as Snow communicated back and forth with the Guildmasters and rushed to help heal the people who were injured. She was tired because it had been a hectic day. Even still, she held on, knowing that her ability would save many that needed her help. The only worrying thing was the number of people who came up to her and called her Saintess.
But she ignored it like any other day. Her mind was frazzled, but Mr Rogers had finally sent the reinforcement that she wanted. In total, he had sent three of the strongest.
The first vampire who walked in was a young man clad in all blue with blueish hair with white streaks running down the side of his face. The most prominent feature of the vampire was its long sword that was double his size. One would wonder how he was able to use such a long thin sword. His name was Bluvera.
A second vampire stepped out from the dark, he was vastly different from the three. His chirpy demeanor completely contrasted the typical vampire stereotype. He had the same blue hair, but the clothes that he wore tightly fitted his body and showed off his muscular physique. The only loose clothing was his new black pants.
Black gauntlets twice the size of his hand wrapped around his fingers. Every time he swung his hand, a bark-like cackle could be heard. Twin hellhound faces were opening and closing its mouth, breathing fire from his gauntlets.
One would have thought that they were alive if it wasn’t for the vampire to move his hand back and forth a few times to show that it was not. His name was Ego as he brilliantly laughed when he entered the camp.
The third vampire was a white-haired man. His pointy ears peeked out of his long messy hair. Out of the two, he was the most beautiful vampire. The girls couldn't stop looking towards him in interest as they chattered amongst themselves. A gold and white long coat with a simple black whip was on his belt. His name was Rye.
“Hello, Snow.” Rye was the first to introduce himself as he bowed gracefully. When he got up, he tucked his hair behind his ears.
Snow couldn't help but stare as Rye was walking eye candy. "Hello, I am guessing you guys were sent by Mr Rogers?" For a moment there, she thought drool was coming down her lips, which she quickly wiped away.
“Yes.” Rye spoke, “This here is Bluvera and Ego. We shall be helping you in conquering the dungeon.”

"Thank you for your assistance," Snow replied, relieved that help was here. As much as she wasn't a big fan of asking vampires help, she knew how strong they were. From the power that they exuded, she could tell that they were all at the higher end of the A-class Hunters.
“It’s nothing.” Rye waved his hand, not really caring if he was here or away doing something else. “Though, your affinity for the light…is a bit uncomfortable.”
“Is it?” Snow didn’t realize anything different about herself. Mostly because it felt all the same.
“Yes, any undead creatures would hate to be around you, especially my kind.” Rye wrinkled his nose, not liking the pungent air of light energy that only he could see. “It shouldn’t bother us, too much. I believe.”
Snow was glad that it didn’t hinder their power. Mostly because she didn’t expect the sudden difference. The whole time, she thought she was giving out the same usual energy. Reeling back the power inside of her, she made the vampires a little bit more comfortable to be around her.
Rye noticed the stark difference as he nodded his head gratefully at her withdrawal of power.
“Which dungeon would we be going in first?” Rye said.
“That…” Snow knew that the other Guild leaders hadn’t quite decided on the dungeon that they were going to dive in. Mostly because they were arguing over small little things that it wasn’t figured out. Hopefully, by now, they had something down.
"Follow me." Snow motioned to the group of three.
They headed straight towards a large group of Players and Hunters, congregating around an area where Rodney was standing. He had just finished giving his speech. Quickly, the people split up, heading towards their respective groups.
Rodney jumped off the wooden crate and noticed that Snow brought over an influential guest.
“Are we ready to depart?” Snow asked when she came over.
"Yes," Rodney replied, he was amazed at the number of powerful Vampires that followed behind her. It wasn't common to see vampires roaming around in the city, even though they went around the different vampire clubs.
The Players knew that even getting a quest from them was like pulling teeth from a monster. They weren’t easy to talk to or meet, especially the higher class nobles, and the three vampires were noble class.
There was a vast difference between the noble class and the typical class vampires. The orders of the vampires are Ex-Human vampire, common Vampire, Noble vampire, and at the very top are Purebloods. The Ex-human vampires were humans who were turned into vampires, either willingly or not. The Common vampires were a lot stronger than

Ex-human vampires, making them a force to be reckoned with. These types of vampires proliferate the city as they take up the majority of the vampire society.
Next is the Noble class as they rule over different clans and lands, watching over the common class and the ex-human vampires. The three vampires that came to assist fell in the noble class as bringing in a lot of common vampires would have been no use for their control of thirst for blood wasn’t as controlled as the Noble class. Especially when fighting, it was crucial to be able to watch over their bloodlust.
Finally, the purebloods are a force to be reckoned with as there aren't many purebloods left. Mr Rogers fell into that category as he was one of the twelve prominent vampire families that governed the whole country.
To run into a pure-blooded like Mr Rogers was considered difficult, especially the amount of power that he could rival an S class monster.
Rodney’s Heavenly guild split ways from RedVelvet guild and Black River. They took half of the Players along with them, and Bluevera and Ego followed along, leaving Rye with Snow’s group. Snow had a feeling that they would clear the dungeon a lot quicker than her group with the help of their new assistant.
Either way, the group split as Snow’s group took the closest gate, which was supposed to be a lot weaker than the one that the second group was going. For theirs was on top of one of the tallest skyscrapers. While Snow’s group headed straight to the largest cemetery.
It was an uncomfortable night as the wind blew, bringing with it heavy air. So far, there were no monsters nearby as they had spread further out away from the dungeon itself.
Snow glanced around as the group of two thousand people trailed behind her as Mike, Dairen, Red, Tamaki, and Tommy went together. She was glad for the familiar faces and the support. Mostly because she felt a lot more comfortable fighting alongside them compared to the thousands of other Players she didn't have a niche with. Their constant gaze and worship made it that much uncomfortable.
Rye just silently walked next to Snow like a shadow, appearing and disappearing like smoke.
What surprised Snow was that Falcon tagged along as she thought that he would have stayed behind, but his boisterous laughter drowned out her worry. Instead, he followed along in the hopes of treasure.
Rodney was leading with Sarah in front of them, holding a map as they talked amongst each other. They stopped in front of a sizable, creaky gate that said Oakfield Cemetery. High, old stone walls towered over them as the fog rolled out the very gates.
The wind blew out, causing the gate to creak open as if it was welcoming them in. So far, no new monsters spilt out from the gate. Instead, the reek of death wafted through the air, making Snow's stomach turn.
She wasn’t a fan of the cemetery. Mostly because of the smell of death that reeked heavily in the air. There were times when she stepped into a cemetery, where she was welcomed with banshees and ghosts. Luckily, the first dungeon didn’t have such annoying pests that followed her as they were easily scared away.
“Let’s go.” Snow spoke up first. She knew her powers would be significant in the realm of the dead, pushing past the leaders as she took the first step in.
The world around her started to warp and change. A large deserted amusement park welcomed her. Broken rides that were crashed against the wall as the roller coasters were broken. Swings creaked in welcome at their arrival. A large amount of bones scattered around the ground as she noticed that they were human, she wearily stared around her, wondering what had happened. An eerie wind brushed past her ears, causing her to shiver as darkness settled around them.
Off in the distance, she noticed a massive tent that loomed over the amusement park. Her eyes could not tear away.
"I get the feeling that something is living there," Dairen said, he was having a hard time looking away.
"Same." Snow mouthed.
A soft, dark voice mumbled in her ears, numbing her mind. Her eyes started to glaze over, while her feet began to move in the direction of the voice. Instantly, holy magic, that she was controlling, blazed out from her body, washing away the voices that tingle her mind.
Confused, she looked around, wondering what was going on. Snow noticed that the others were in some kind of trace. Many of them were heading straight towards the open green pool as if they were a zombie. A few fell into the water as they splashed around in panic.
“Guys, wake up!” Snow yelled, trying to get everyone’s attention. Her voice did nothing, making her realize that something was wrong.
Snow drew up energy from her core, and it snapped to her fingers as a bright light. Raising up her hand, she shouted. "Purification!"
