Ms. Buffet stood at her bedroom window looking out at the house across the street from her own.
"Eugene, there's a man going into the Thornhill house. "
"That's nice dear." Her husband said not moving from his spot on the bed beside the heater.
"First she crashes a perfectly fine car...probably drunk."
"The ice on the road caused three accidents...."
"Don't correct me."
"Yes dear."
------------
"This can't be happening. " Wil Thatcher said as he found himself been pulled along, he was now a weightless ghost just connect to the woman sho was carrying his lifeless body on her shoulder like a limp carpet for miles.
Wil didn't understand why people didn't react to his body being held over the shoulder of a pretty young woman but every time someone got close or happened to spot them they were soon covered in a fine drizzling rain coming from a clear, forboding night sky, then with a dazed look on their face they just walked away.
"What is going on? Where are you taking me?" Wil kept shouting and waiting for a response, he'd been completely ignored and almost gave up hope but then to his shock he got one.
《To your benefactor, he was in your most recent memory but it will take me a while to take it all in.》
"My memories? Why do you have my memories? Look lady this is all one big mistake, just stop what you're doing and let me go." Panic had long past set in and rounded the corner to a mental breakdown the way the road was tilting, his body seemed to be slowly fading, a finger here an eyebrow there, his mind had reached its breaking point.
《I ate you, only your body is left, I couldn't leave it at my ward's den to fester and rot. I was going to deal with your superior but first I have to make a little detour to deal with your remains." She said changing her direction to a nearby park.

"Ate me? I'm not dead! I'm right here...no I mean there, no I mean I'm..."
《You are indigestion. 》
------------------------
Jamal was cold even after years of living in England, with its peculiar weather it was still hard for him who grew up in a warm climate to adjust to the temperature of the winter months of England's changing weather patterns, going from windy to rain to hail in a short time, Jamal never could get his body accustomed to the weather.
On the other hand while he was cold his body was growing used to the warmth his surroundings had gifted him, namely his three very female but not very clothed companions that were using his body as their personal pillow.
Jamal didn't want to wake them for many reasons, including the spell he had enacted to save them all but the most important reason he didn't want to wake them was that he was happy to have them near.
《If you have finished mating, deal with this matter.》
A dead body dropped with a heavy thud in front of Jamal but this didn't bother him, after all dealing with curses and blessings had already carved a dark path through his life.
What bothered Jamal was tgat the three women on top of him stirred at the presence of the ancient thing inside Alice.
Which meant they'd be awake in a while.
That also meant a long conversation was incoming about the acknowledgement of what happened and how tied together they now were.
《This one found his way into my wards den. He was sent by another manthing so to save time I will leave him with you to deal with. 》
Before Jamal could reply Katherine, Sarah and Ashley bound at the man stripping him of both his clothing and his flesh.

They were methodical in their consumption until they started to transform, at that point they became ravenous, the changes weren't just an increase in size which was already bigger than an average wolf but for a moment in the transformation it seemed as if they paused midway thus taking a third form, in between human and wolf.
He could also feel them now more than before, their thoughts struck him with the intensity of a hammer to the head.
Soon they were only blood stains left on the ground.
The ancient in Alice's body nodded her head as the three wolves in turn bowed to her.
《I shall take my leave to finish my business but congratulations on your growth in strength, I do not understand how you did it but I should warn you that stealing from that one is not a wise idea.》
"I'm not sure what you mean but if you're talking about the spell I just used, it was a life line." Jamal said watching the woman walk away.
《The one in the moon has been awakened. In his weakness he let you among others to steal a portion of himself. What you have drawn into yourselves is old and powerful but is still only a small part of that power. My word to you is to make it yours before someone else takes it from you.》
With that she was gone into the night as the moonlight beat down on the four of them a bit more heavily than before.

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!
