It's been a hell of the week. I finally convince The Hokage to give me a mission and when there was an A-rank mission, which was relatively easy for Anbu, I was assigned to a team with experts. Which only indicates Hokage just fill the team with S rank and S+ Rank Anbu Ninjas with this easy mission so I wouldn't be a burden. Even its hurtful, still it is actually wise call. Of course, he could also shut me down, to begin with. But first, I'm "genius", the second getting bloody experience might take away my enthusiasm so I wouldn't ask it again. At least that was what the Hokage would think so.

So, as I was learning the Flying Thunder God Technique and waiting for the mission date to come, some masked man picked me up from dormitory I was staying at. These were my teammates for following mission. There were 3 of them, one was a little taller than me. There were 3 different kinds of an animal face on the mask they wear. One of them, with leader aura, had an eagle mask gave me my mask shaped like a wolf. Which hurt me little and bring those bad memories. I adapted quickly and pushed them back to my mind and 3 of my teammates also removed their masks, to let me see their faces. There was even someone I knew among them. It was Itachi.

As they introduce themselves I started the use observation to learn their expertise.

Can create genjutsu and get genjutsu resistance. Can see in the dark. Further power may be gained with the evolving of the eyes. Has 6 stages. (Itachi is currently at the first stage. First tomoe.)

After the introduction, the leader spoke to me. "This is an easy mission for us, but still a hard one for you. We got orders from Hokage to let you fight as long as it's in our control. If you can finish the mission on your own, we will let you." said with a deep voice and continued ."But this is not Anbu Style! Anbu is precise and fast. There is a shortest way to finish the mission and a wrong way. There is no middle. Don't get me wrong. I don't look down on you. You are both geniuses. Still, you are inexperienced and will make mistakes. As soon as you make mistakes, I will take over the mission and will finish it the 'right way'. This is my first reminder." said, looking right into my eyes. Yes, he included Itachi as well, but the whole speech was for me.

"The other is, this is not a game or drill. You will die if you screw up. This is the real battlefield. In the battlefield, an order is a must, and my orders are your religion. You will worship them without a slight difference. If I say run, you will run without turning back, if I say die you will die. Are we clear?" said to me with an intimidating look.

"Yes, sir!" I said with pretended intimidated. I watched tons of military movie, hell I watched Lord of the Rings, this kind of speech wouldn't even affect me. Not that I will go out of order, I will follow them because this will prevent somebody from getting hurt, including me. Thus completing mission more easily.

The leader liked my attitude and started to explain the mission. It was an assassination mission. We had to infiltrate branch of the Sound Village and take one of the main executives of the human experiment department of Orochijosei. He was more of a scientist to ninja. The real problem was his bodyguards. If everything went okay, we would go in and out without fighting with those. As we were about to depart I started to mark my teammates with my new seal helps me to use the Flying Thunder God Technique.

After a few hours of run, we started to approach our destination. Leader slowed down and hold his right hand as fist meant us to stop. As 3 of us stopped, he went for a few minutes and return later with a dead body. Throw him to Imari as Imari takes out a scroll, I thought it was sealing scroll and I was right, a few minutes later the dead body was nowhere to be seen. The leader points me and points the direction of the back of the house. I went that way right away and followed by Inari. Itachi went another way and followed by the leader. When I was 30 meters away from the house, looking around the house and counting guards, I heard Crow Brother.

"New mission Brother. Not a bad one."

Enigma: Kill the main target of the Anbu Mission, don't let see anyone on your team how you did it and be an enigma. (Don't kill anyone else.)

Reward: 2 Random A Rank Jutsu within your elemental affinity, +3 Luck.

"Now that is a good reward. But how should I do that." I was pondering how should I complete the mission, Inari looked at me and said: "Do your magic, I will not follow you inside, I will come as soon as possible if anything goes wrong."

With that, he started to watch me. I was still pondering how should I finish my quest. Then I got a good idea. It was time to use my new super space-time jutsu. I start to work on details and count the guards around the house. There were 5 on this side of the house. 5 looking different directions. Their level was above mine, with my means I could still beat them, but I wasn't planning to do so, so I took out paper and brush started to draw my special seal on the paper before I fold the paper nice and clean with the shape of a paper plane. I left the tree branch and crawled in the bushes and got close to the one of the window side. When the guard turns around the other direction to check I threw a paper plane through to window to my new mark in the house. At the same time, I used Mind Transfer Jutsu. When I landed on my target's body, the paper plane was about the hit me. I caught it right away and started to walk inside the house.

The house was a 150-meter square room with lots of lab equipment. There were 2 people in the room. No, there were 2 free people in the room, one was a scientist and one was the guard, I just took over. There were some glass jars filled with yellow liquid and there were animals in them. Some humans were tied to beds with no life in them. I was getting nauseous. I had to act quick. I start to approach the scientists. He was cutting bat-like creature. It had an eagle head, bat wings, 3 sharp claws one was growing from its belly. When I was behind target I throw paper plane back of my head, cancel the Mind Transfer Jutsu, used the Flying Thunder God Technique instantly.

I arrived behind the guard, punch him back of his head with all my might. Take my kunai, pierced through the back of the scientist. Grabbed his body and teleport where I was before I jumped in. Then carry the body to brunch where Inari was waiting for me to act. As I come to him, he was shocked beyond belief. He looked at me and body few times before grabbed the body and sealed him in the scroll before taking out another scroll and put his chakra into it. The leader and Itachi came a few minutes later and looking with a questioning look. Inari points away and everybody followed.

We jumped on tree branches 15 minutes after everybody stopped and Inari took out a scroll and said "Hitomi here completed the mission. Killed the scientist and brought his body back."

Itachi and Leader looked at me with disbelief at first, later question me how I did it. I just smiled and said nothing. I only heard all 3 of them said simultaneously "Monster." Then I heard Crow Brother.

"Mission accomplished. Luck stat is now 12 points. You learned 2 A Rank Jutsu."

Wind Style: Blade of Wind: A pinpoint slashing strike, where the user emits a wind-based chakra from their fingertips and materializes, it into a nearly invisible blade that assaults the enemy in a gust of wind, leaving their body mutilated.

Fire Style: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique: User expels several dragon-headed fireballs from their mouth to cover the front, left and right side of the opponent. As the dragonheads move in an erratic manner, it makes the technique much more difficult to avoid.
