《Wandering The Multiverse! Saving The God?》Chapter-77 The Floor Master!

The Floor Master I challenged was named Tempo. There were lots of videos about his fights. Still, I had no idea what the hell was his Nen ability. It gave me the feeling of effecting his opponent's perception. Because as far as I could understand from videos, his opponents were looking at him for one second, then they can't follow him in the next second. He was just walking behind them and just beat them. His opponents were looking at the spot he was a second ago.
I wanted to fight with him after a few months and train my secondary Nen ability because I didn't want to risk it with the Gloves again, but he insisted on a week later, so I had to accept it reluctantly. All I could do was trust in my luck and finish him off with the 777 Gloves. Still, I had a week for training and I did all I can to improve my ability to use Shadow. Fortunately, I had the Adapt System allowing my body to adapt new techniques with the adjusting my muscle memories.
After a week, I was at my peak state once again. I walked to the ring with confidence. I thought about activating my Zetsu earlier in the morning and at least have a chance to change in the fight by stalling for 15 or 30 minutes if I don't get the good one. But in the case I land one of the best colors and fight stalls by itself, I would lose my chance. It was luck doesn't matter which way I decide, so I choose to use it in the fight.
After Tempo walked to the ring, I activated my 777 Gloves immediately, before even looked at him. I hit the Yellow color, and yellow wasn't that bad. Different from the others, Yellow color didn't have restrictions of 7 punch, as long as I hit sevenfold. After I hit 7, I could count all the way to the 14.
The Yellow color was doubling with each punch as Blue, but it had its own power scale, unlike the Blue color. First Punch was only enough to hurt a child, and the power would double with each hit. The downside was hitting sevenfold within sevenfold seconds. If I hit 15th punch by accident, I had to punch all the way to the 21st punch in 21 seconds. Otherwise, I would get the hit.

Yellow was effective against multiple enemies, making my every punch stronger and easier to deal with all of them, by punching my way to the end. Also with no restriction that 'punch the same enemy' with other colors had was making it a better option. I could dive in between an army and could punch them all to death.
I was lucky this time, and I looked at the Tempo for the first time. He was looking me back with a smile. He had long white hairs over his shoulders, with emerald eyes and drawn features he was a handsome young man. Combining with his popularity here at the arena, he was the fair boy. The Referee gave the signal, and I waited for him to attack first.
I still no idea what his Nen was. Wait and see tactic was my best option at the moment. He appeared in front of me with a strong dash and punched me in the face with a hook. I dodged his attack by moving my head to the back, but I felt danger from my back all of a sudden. Like on the videos, Tempo was behind me, but he was standing right before my eyes until I sensed the danger from my back with Observation Haki.
I dashed forward by kicking the ground to escape from him, but I felt danger again, and this time I couldn't escape from his attack, and he hit me on the neck, send me flying.
"Critical Hit. Knock." The Referee gave him three points. I still had no idea how could he do that. If he were to use illusions, my Adapt System would warn me. In this match, I would use Gamer Mind instead of Adapt System because I didn't have time to adapt. But this wasn't the case. 'Is he so fast?'
"Yes, I mean, if you ask if he is faster than light," said Crow with mocking voice. I wanted to scold him, but sudden illumination choked my words to my throat.
'You mean he is traveling in time?' Is there such a notion? Can ability make a person travel in time? Do you want me to believe that?

"He is stopping time. I am guessing 1 second is his limit," said Crow with same mocking voice. "I thought you have a brain, how can you not see it?"
'Shut up. I was focusing on the fight, you bastard!' I dumbfounded by the sudden change of events. If he could stop time for a second, then my Observation Haki, even in its limits would be useless against it. What should I do?
"There is not much you can do, except finishing him off." Suggested Crow. But how should I finish him off? He will see my attacks and will dodge them after stopping the time.
I was getting beaten while I was thinking counter attack. I used Genjutsu, but when time stopped, it broke by itself. I thought all my means; creating a clone, all my jutsus, letting Jon out... But doesn't matter what, after he stopped the time itself, all would be ineffective against him.
After some time, I lost with a technical knockout. His clear record hasn't even changed by me. He won all his fights without getting injured once. If I had time, I could have figured a way to deal with him, but now it was too late for it. At least I didn't die while fighting against him, it is better than most tried to challenge him.
"You can win against him with that thing. I don't know why you are insisting not to use it?" Said Crow.
'I told you, didn't I. I haven't seen enough to use that item efficiently. I see a new thing every time when I visit a new World. The things I couldn't even imagine before. Giving that I only traveled five worlds, using the Pendant would be insulting like creating a Kitty Cat with it.
"Hey, I heard that you bastard. Who do you call an insult?" came the boy's voice.
'I didn't mean that Jon. You are strong and mighty. Just, the item's might beat you there.' The Pendant can create anything, anything one can imagine. Using it to create a Kitty Cat is an insult to that item.
"What did you said- Ah, you are right. Even my might comes from Pendant itself." The Jon said in a sad voice. I could see his wet sad eyes.
'Don't beat yourself up. Even if someone created me with it, I would think it was a waste too. You are one of the best options.' I couldn't stand to see Jon like this and comforted him. He saved my life more than once after all.
I was thinking if I should challenge another Floor Master, giving I still had few months, but Crow's next word stopped my steps.
"There are three quests from three factions of Upper Realm, brother. And you can only choose one of them because doesn't matter which one you chose, the others will be your enemies."
Not this shit again. I hate playing with those Gods. Can't they handle it themselves? I mean, why do they want my help anyway?
"Well, first of all, you are already here, and you have strong supporters. Secondly, do you think there is only one version of this World? They send their champions and lackeys to other worlds. And finally, because they think they can use you.
Well, screw them, I don't take a quest from now on, I will do whatever I want!
"All three give a random Divine Item."
What are the quest, I have to choose carefully!
"Idiot."

Bitter
The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
