"The Ada-- The Adamant System!" I said, making up a lie in a mere millisecond. I was almost going to say 'The Adapt System, and it would be signing my death wish. God, I am stupid!
"The Adamant System?" the God I offended spoke, his voice sounded like he was pondering. I imagined the God was rubbing his chin in the darkness I was facing.
"I did hear of that System." the one beside him spoke for the first time. "Thousand years ago, one of the Champions had the System and cultivated solely on strength, and with the Adamant System, he was invincible. He became second and lost the Leader of The Aristocracy Champion only at that time. To think that it reappeared..."
"Yes, now I remember it too. He was killed in the alley by an unknown force. The system vanished from then on. I never thought it would land on the Deaf God's hand." the Female spoke, after a second she said, "I am sorry, I meant %&+!+%+." She clearly apologized me, but I didn't understand why.
"You are the Champion of the Deaf God! Its name and honor is your life. You should always defend its name, even the other party is another God." Crow said.
'But I don't give a shit about the Deaf God.' I said.
"Neither do I, but as Champion, this is your honor, your life. Even if you don't care, you should act as if you do." Crow said again.
'Fine!' I said and act as if I was offended by female God.
"The Adamant System is strong and can explain your arrogance. Probably before the Gold Coin, you never ever got hurt." The male god in front of me spoke. "But it does not explain how you can traverse the World without coming to the Upper Realm," he said.

"Lord must be joking with the lowly one. How could I, mere Champion wander the worlds without the help of my Master?" I said, still denying.
A frown came from the other parties, but at this moment a knock sounded on the door. "This lowly one apologized of his actions, but my master wanted us to meet with him in few minutes. I wouldn't want to disturb you but I have to oblige my master's commands." Fatty's voice came from outside.
"You can leave, but hear this story first. There was a Champion once. He had one of the strongest systems ever created. He was strong and arrogant and didn't bow to anyone. One day, when he walking in the streets he was murdered and the system vanished from the face of Upper Realm. To keep your treasures, you have to have the power to protect it." the female said, she was telling me a story, and it appeared to be a warning, but it was a naked threat. She was threatening me. After that, they disappeared from my perception again once again, as my eyes opened once more. After that, I simply left the door and walked up to the Fatty grinning ear to ear.
"Do your master want to see me?" I asked Fatty when we left the hotel.
"Of course not. Why would my Master want to see you?" Fatty snorted, "But his name was enough to take you out of trouble." he said grinning again.
"So, did they asked you to hand it over or did they say they will take it away from you?" asked Fatty.
"They permit me to hand it over," I said honestly but didn't know why it was matter.
"If they permit you to hand it over, it only meant the other system can take your system away from you isn't in the hand of the Contrarians. Otherwise, they would use the word 'take' instead of 'handing over'." Fatty saw through my thoughts and explained. He was quite intelligent, to be honest. "You did know, that systems can be given by the wielder right?" Fatty said after some time, looking straight into my eyes.

"Is that so? I didn't know." I said looking into his eyes. Where was he getting at?
"Okay. Interesting." he murmured as we continued. After some time, we reached the platform where we first came to the Third Floor. There were still Myriads of people walking to the platform, and every second a flash was appearing as hundreds of people vanishing. Sometimes some would appear as the people vanished. We were waiting in the line, but some noticed Fatty and opened the way for him. Obviously, they all knew him.
"You are quite famous it seems," I said.
"Actually you are the famous one. They just recognized me do to you. They were all thinking, 'who would walk beside that loser', then inspected me closer, and recognized me." Fatty explained.
'Bastard, you had to say it out loud right!' I thought, but this time didn't mask my thoughts and let it heard by Fatty, as he grinned again.
When we reached the platform, he said Seventh Floor, and we appeared at the brand new floor. This Floor was filled with millions of people. I could see countless races filling the streets, and yet all of them seem calm unlike the people on the Third Floor. They all had easy going expressions and happy faces. It kinda made me happy too, as I forget the troubles I may encounter.
"These are the races we saved from countless planets. They were once slaves or war prisoners. Poor souls waiting to die, but my Master and the rest of the faction didn't let them die, or suffer, but saved them. The ones can still live on their planets stayed, the one taken away or lost their homes are residing in here." Fatty introduced the streets and the events to me. I always had a good impression of the Community, yet with the sight in front of me, I now had respect.
After some time we reached the humble two stories house. Fatty knocked on the door and a grand voice called us inside. Fatty opened the door and gestured me to walk in. The hall was simply designed. The wooden house had neatly designed interior. There was a towering clock at the hall, and stairs going to the up on the left. A door on the right was opening to the living room. Fatty walked in as I followed. There was an old man with a long grey beard, reading a book. As he saw Fatty the smile on his face gave me the feeling of hot chocolate. As I melt with the smile, I couldn't help but said,
"Santa?"

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
