《MHA: The Wolf of the End》Chapter 6

Man this is boring…
As Present Mic booms out the information we will need to know for the “practical” exam, I’m just staring into space itching for the fight that’s about to happen. My body and soul where made for one thing and one thing only…
Destruction and Chaos!
Well.. That may have been what it WAS made for in my past life, but in this one it shall be used for saving and defending the weak! At least, that’s what I wish for it to be..
Though, the exam may be a bit tougher than it should be for me. My Mother, who I love even if she placed this ridiculous rule on me, made me a set of armor that will bind my movements and prevent me from transforming… Why you ask?.. Because she says that I lose control!..
I beat one guy into a bloody pulp once…ONCE!.. and now I have to be in chains once more…
The irony isn’t lost on me…
Anyway, I have only half my power to rely on in the exam, and if by chance I take my armor off and use my full power in this test at any point….
My Mother will expel me herself..
MY OWN MOTHER BETRAYS ME!!…Well, I can understand their concern… I do go a bit.. how you say… Wild when I let loose.
And this exam is pretty easy by my mothers standards, so I should be fine with just this much of a handy cap…
Besides, my Chaos energy is pretty potent!
It has 3 uses I, with my Mothers help, have discovered over the years..
One, It can suppress quirks! Which in a world filled to the brim with the strange powers is a gods send.. Even if I do hate those bastards!
It can’t fully suppress them like my mothers can, but at this stage, it can still do some serious damage! As long as the energy makes contact with a person, it will slow down their ability and make it harder to activate it.
So if someone has, let’s say, a regeneration ability that could heal their injury’s in under a minute, then if they are injected with my Chaos energy, it will slow down and take double the time!
The second one is simple, I can increase my strength, speed, agility, and senses with my power! The more power that I unleash, the stronger I become!…
Though this drains my energy faster the more I bump it up. If I also over -saturate my own body for too long… It can cause some… complications…
Like bleeding from all my orifices or shredding my muscle and ligaments into hamburger… It not AS painful as you think, but its still a bitch..

Three, Last but not least! Is my Chaos sense!! It allows me to sense when Chaos is afoot!… or it does some of the time…
This one is more fickle..or should I say…CHAOTIC!…
Sorry…
I can’t really control this one, its more like a sixth sense that will alert me if a chaotic situation is happening somewhere in a 50 meter radius of me. Which helps me, because it is the perfect bad guy radar!.. At least I hope so..
As I am thinking of the past, I hear a teen yell in front of me. He had neatly combed head fur or hair as the mortals call it, with framed glass lenses laid over his eyes, that if I remember correctly are called glasses…
He was saying something about how there are 4 Villains on the paper, but Mic only talked about 3… But what really pissed me off was when he turned to Izuku and told him to basically shut his gob..
He is now on my shit list!
Mic stepped in before I could say something, and told him the fourth one was worth no points and was basically a obstacle to be avoided.
The kid, seeming satisfied with the answer, sat back down and let the teacher continue.
I know we are not allowed to mess with other students during the exam… But by Loki, I want to mess with that shit head! He seems like the type that the gods would like, but that I hate the most..
A no good rule follower!
After what felt like years! We FINALLY get to go to our respective exam zones.
I unfortunately, did not get the same one as that kid with the glasses, but this still should be a blast!
As I equip these Gods damn chains, a weird girl with pink skin and antennae walked towards me, her yellow pupils and black sclera smiled at me. She stoped three steps away as she puts out her hand and says..
“Hello big Guy! The names Mina Ashido! What’s yours?!”
Her bombastic nature stuns me for a bit before I’m able to answer, not used to being approached since I look like a big bad wolf Momo loved to read about as a kid. She always told me never to eat her if I was hungry, she would instead make me some sweets! But unfortunately for her…
I don’t like sweets.
Anyways, I shake my head a bit clearing the memory to then shake this strange girls hand.
“I’m Felir Wulfric. Its a pleasure to meet you as well Mina.” I say as I try my best at a smile. I’m still not that good at making expressions like the mortals do… having lips is weird…

“Nice to meet you too Felir! Man, that armor looks tight! What’s it for!?”
Man… she likes to ask questions huh. I look down at my chains, arms and legs covered in metal braces to slow my movement, chest and shoulders incased in a heavy metal while my head and hips matched. My “Helmet” looked like a wolf’s head and my “Armor” was covered in runes to match. Small chains connected my upper arms to my chest plate so I could not over extend my arms too much, while my legs upper and lower braces were connected to make running and movement harder as well. All while weighing my total body weight to add extra insult to injury… I know I weigh a lot.. but not THIS MUCH!
I look back at pinky and retort, “Its not armor per se… It’s more like chains to restrain me.”
She gives me a questioning look.
“Why would you wear armor that RESTRAINS movement?! Isn’t the point of this exam to show off your full powers to the teachers?!” She questions, me agreeing with her more and more…I’m starting to like this girl!
“Well…. It’s not by choice mind you. My mother thinks I'm a little.. “Overwhelming” when I let loose, so they decided I needed to wear this “precaution” so I don’t hurt others..”
I look down with a little mirth, still mad at this whole situation.
“So that’s why I have to wear this stupid restraint… This “GLEIPNIR” if you will…” I say as I shake the chains, Mina staring at them with a smirk.
“GLEIPNIR? That’s a strange name!” She then looks up into my eyes.
“Are you from another country! Your Japanese is very good!”
“Well..” I start. “My mother is a natural born Japanese woman and my father is Full blood Norwegian. So you can say I’ve had a helping dose of Japanese throughout my life!” I smile back, trying to be friendly to the new friend in-front of me.
“Really?! That’s cool as heck! Are your parents Hero’s or somethin?!”
“Well yes they are!” I say proudly.
“My mother actually graduated from this very school herself!”
“That’s so cool Felir!!”
“Hello everyone! Its a pleasure to meet you all.” A soft familiar voice rings through the entrance. My hair rises on my neck as I know this voice… I slowly turn my head to the top of a tower near where all the examinees are gathered.. to my horror, I see who it was that would be refereeing our test…
“M-MOTHER!!” I scream out in shock.
‘What the hell is my MOTHER doing here!’
Mina looks up at me, also in shock.. “Your MOTHER?!”
There at the top, my mother was standing in her old hero uniform. A black latex tight suit hugged her curves as her long purple over coat covered the rest. Metal belt hung from her waist as pockets filled with tools and gadgets gripped onto it. Gloved hands reached up to take off her skull -shaped helmet to reveal my mothers face smiling down at us.
My fear realized.
“Oh no…” I whisper just audible enough for Mina to barely hear.
She looks at me in confusion, my fear prevalent on my face.
“What’s wrong Felir!? Its just your mom?! How bad can that really be?!” Her naïve question graved me from my spiraling fear. I look down at her as seriously as I could to convey the seriousness of the situation we find our selves in… The Gods are very cruel indeed.
“Do you wonder why I obeyed the stupid rules my mother placed on me for this exam?” I ask her, hoping she can get my meaning.
“Uh?.. Because you love and respect her?!” She squeaks out, now understanding, but hoping, that what I’m implying was just a figment of her imagination…
Its not..
“No… Its because I fear the consequences of defying..” I point back towards my mother, Her serene smile looking like Hel has broken the barrier of Yggdrasil and is now flowing into Midgard to start Ragnarok…
“HER!” I yell out startling everyone that did not hear my previous conversation with Mina.
Mina started to shake and ask, “But she is only the ref! What can she do really?!” She foolishly looks for hope..
There is none.
“Knowing her… A lot.”
My mother then grabs our attention, smiling like she never heard what I just said.
“Well, everyone! Are you all ready for the exam? It’s going to be…” She pauses, her nice smile turns demonic as her eyes finally open. Two balls of orange fire, looking like the gates of my sister’s domain, pierce our very souls. Everyone can feel the change of atmosphere as the sky started to darken, thunder rolls across the area, shaking the concrete under our very feet…
My mothers not going to hold back… is she.
“HELL!” She yells out, as her power leaks from her. The air and light around her bending from the shear power of her quirk.
Her real personality finally shows its ugly head once more.
“WHAT ARE YOU MAGGOTS WAITING FOR!!”
Her voice quakes the very ground as she smirks…
“THE EXAM HAS ALREADY STARTED! MOVE YOUR ASSES!”
We all bolted towards the gates like our lives depended on it..
Because they did…

Return of Chaos
For the longest time, it was thought that the citizens of Earth were the only denizens of the galaxy incapable of developing superhuman abilities — but recent events have flipped that assumption on its head. Between Austin Travis, Mote Emerson, Pierce Bradley, and their friends, Earth is now host to 12 Chaotics… as well as a myriad of mysteries surrounding them. From a new nemesis in the form of a clone, to connections to ancient technology from a long-lost civilization, to the ability to summon powerful legendary weapons, these 12 Chaotics have unknowingly become entangled in something larger than any of them have ever imagined. As if in response to these discoveries, the sinister machinations of galactic evil are churning. The metallic infection, a calamitous nanotechnology “disease” thought to have been vanquished 20 years ago, is slowly returning — and alongside it, a number of conflicts thought to be long past. While they only seek to better grasp their own abilities, Earth’s Chaotics will soon find themselves in the crossfire of returning threats and old heroes. These superpowered Earthians may not have chosen this path through life, but it will still be up to them to determine if history remembers them — to determine if history remembers the saga of the Keys. Return of Chaos is a direct sequel to Chosen Chaos, which begins the Key Saga novel series. Be sure to read Chosen Chaos first, to understand the plot and the characters thus far! Additionally, the Key Saga as a whole takes place 20 years after Rise. You will not need to read Rise to understand the events of Return of Chaos, however the latter will spoil many of the events that occurred in Rise, due to the simple chronology of taking place later in the timeline.
