“A mixed pill? Impossible!” Zheng Luo and everyone else aside from Zhao Fan knew the value of a mixed pill.

An aura of fire coated the elder’s palm which struck Zheng Luo’s chest before the latter could react. The force caused him to shoot out of the room and slam into a sturdy marble pillar. Everyone in the main hall of the Alchemist Guild turned towards the commotion.

It was clearly not a very strong palm attack, since the elder could easily vaporize Zheng Luo if he really wanted to, but everyone’s eyes still contained fear.

“AHHHHH!” Zheng Luo stood up and found that his skin was coated in small tendrils of flame which persistently drilled into his skin, like thousands of red ants biting him every second. He could only scream miserably before running out of the building.

The elder seemed satisfied and turned towards the youth in the crowd who had spoken out multiple times.

“Kid, do you want to become my disciple?”
