《She, the one (old)》Chapter thirteen: Some enjoyment and the depart

Since I have no better ideas the only thing left is to leave this shithole. Putting everything I might need in a backpack I found laying in a room, I decide to start my journey. The book of demons said we don’t like to stay in one place for too long. I believe it’s not false, but humas are the same if they have the power to do so.
Well, the same book said succubuses are long extinct creatures who like raping a torturing. Evil beings deceiving and killing mindless. The reasoning states that they live of life energy that doesn’t regenerate in their bodies, unless they steal it. This also makes them intimidating as they have no limit to their strength, but the fact they constantly losing it all the time compensates. So I believe.
If I have to imagine it’s probably like an infinite tank with a hole at the bottom. Not in my case though. As I’m somehow capable of using magic, I’m both demon and magical creature. Magical creatures are rare animals with high level of intelligence, if I remember correctly. Why do I have to compare myself to an animal? No, I’m starting to adapt. There is nothing that can’t happen anymore.
As I was stating, magic power is ‘regenerating’, is what the common people believe. We basically gather the ‘mana’ from around us. Saying in a different tone, we steal it from the nature.
My magic is enough to seal the hole, but since I have to do this, I can’t manipulate it outside of my body. I should be able to use it on myself a little to make my body stronger and faster. I don’t know enough things of magic power yet, so this is all I can do.
In case you are wondering why don’t I just remove the seal when I’m using magic, is because I can’t. It’s part of my body and I have no idea how it works. Probably by instincts. Understanding this many things about magic power even though I know almost nothing of it, is pretty good I think.

I’m not sure how I should leave, but thinking too much will make my head hurt.
I simply jump out from the window and open my wings. Yes, these robes are awesome. It opens two small holes to let me spread my wings. They are weak, but after feeding it with some raw magic power they began to expand. Oh, you thought I’ll travel by foot? Hell no, it would take a year.
As I fly not giving a fuck to anyone, I realise I’m still inside the city. Opsie. Many humas stopped their work to look at my majestic appearance. Some of them are so bewitched they start running… away. No shit even I would be scared. I giggle a little ate them.
I land in front of the place I left the girl, Carrot. I mean Charlot. Well, her. I slowly walk inside after folding my cute wings. I like them. It seems the drunkards are staring at me again, but they don’t seem to fear me. They are happy? Don’t make me blush.
I actually blushed a little. Unexpected. I hear a loud cheer, which I gracefully ignore. I walk in front of the old man and he is looking at me like I’m crazy. Maybe I’m. Oh, I forgot to cover my face with the hood. It’s late anyways.
He does not say anything, only stares at me. It seems I have to start.
“I would like to apologize for causing you trouble. Also, I’m saying goodbye. I’m heading towards Astreal Academy for now.” A small smile accompanies my words.
(Old man) “You don’t have to apologize to me, but I think she wants to speak with you.”
Nope. I don’t care. I already decided this. I have things to do and everything else will cause my head to hurt. I’m still in no shape to fight and just learned how to use my wings. They also use a lot of life force, I can’t produce enough from my little magic.

“She’s alive, that’s the only thing that concerns me. I don’t care about her in any other way, besides I don’t have time to wait until she wakes up.”
I already confirmed that she’s alive. I hear a small heart beating in the old man’s room. Accidentally it has the same feel as her’s. She’s alive, but it pulsates slowly meaning she’s still unconscious.
My senses are a little sharper this way, but I feel myself weakening constantly. I have to ‘turn off’ these senses or I won’t be able to fly.
The old man smiles at me weakly.
(Old man) “Would you like to drink something? It’s on the house.”
“Give me your strongest” I give him a gentle smile as I sit down in front of him.
He turns his back to me, taking a small bottle from the desks behind him. His other hand grabs a lovely glass, yes real glass, under the table. No noble around here drinks like this probably. Slowly pouring the drink in it, he pushes it in front of me.
The old man has a proud smile on his face. Creepy.
I raise it in front of my eyes and gaze at the strange brown liquid, for the mood. I gently let it flow down my throat.
I don’t know why actually. I don’t usually drink, but I guess the mood made me follow his lead.
I put the now empty glass down and savour the taste. Whiskey, probably. I know of it because my human self drank that often. She wasn’t a drunkard like her father but a gourmet. Strange things happen.
I thank him with a smile, and stand up. I thought it would kick in with this body of mine, but I only feel a gentle warmth.
As I walk outside step by step, I smoothly wave my hands without looking back. Awesome exit check. Thinking how amusing this little play was, I inaudibly giggle.
When I step outside I notice that the guards are already surrounding the entrance in a 10 meter radius. I somehow manage to bring myself to not eat these stupid humas.
They are shouting at me that they’ll kill me in the name of justice. Why do they even bother? To gather courage to murder. If you don’t have the resolve just stay away ants!
Keeping my thoughts inside, I let out a faint laugh. I open my wings and jump upwards, flying far-far away.
This will be a long trip

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job.
