Everyone who saw the gigantic pattern felt as if their body will explode. They all immediately circulated their energy to keep their body intact and avoid death. Only Ming Li was unaffected with everything happening outside. The pattern then rumbled and moved towards Chao Shi. Chao Shi felt the danger of this attack; He gathered all his energy and released hundreds of magical items and a full knight armor, where he channeled his natural energy on the armor bringing it to life. The armor slowly moved as pulsing light came from inside the armor, the pulse seems to match Chao Shi's heart beat as it slowly moved. The armor controlled the magical items and flew at an extremely fast speed towards the pattern. Then the armor made all the magical items explode when it was hundred of meters away from the pattern. With a terrifying explosion, all the black robed men stepped back. When the explosion was at its peak, it was suddenly sucked inward like the time was being reversed. The explosion which was sucked inward, formed a red glowing orb emitting terrifying destructive force! The armor directed the energy to the pattern along with its body. When it was a step near the pattern, the armor self detonated along with the ball of energy creating a void absorbing the pattern into nothingness! The eyes of the black robe men went wide when they saw the void, and immediately, they created energy barriers to escape the void. After the attack, obvious signs of exhaustion can be seen on Caho Shi's face. Again, he produced a set of magical items and bit his fingers. Then he wrote a magical symbol in the air causing the magical items to churn and melt to form into a single wooden dragon. Even though the dragon was made of wood, it gave off an ancient aura that made everyone want to prostrate before it. The dragon swirled around Chao Shi causing the air around him to rotate rapidly. Roots spread out of the ground as it rotated covering the whole area. The masked man also prepared for a stronger attack. They decided to end the fight with their strongest attack. He stepped forward and the four other men sat crossed legged around him creating a magical formation. Then, he started waving his hands. Slowly, his hands became illusory and hundreds of after images can be seen. A small black orb materialized in front of his chest at the center of his hand movement. He then pointed his hands at Chao Shi, making the black orb expand rapidly, creating a rift in space itself. Smoke forming a giant black wolf appeared in the rift, and the roar of it made the lands tremble. When it was fully formed, It sped through the air attempting to attack Chao Shi. Chao Shi also waved his hands, then the wooden dragon attacked the wolf. The two were extremely fast, causing the spectators unable to see its movements. With a thunderous clap upon collison, everyone watching was sent flying backwards with the force it emitted. The sky seem to split apart into two portion, and the lands below the attack was caved in deeper. When the Villagers regained composure they saw the wolf already started dissipating but the dragon was still intact. Parts of the dragon was disintegrating, but it still engraved fear into everyone's heart. Chao Shi directed his palm at it making the dragon regenerate at an astonishing speed. After the regeneration, Chao Shi was sweating greatly, his energy was almost drained, but determination still flashed in his eyes. The Villagers started to rejoice because Chao Shi was gaining the upper hand even though they can see him breathing heavily with blood oozing from his mouth, and his clothes were torn apart. However, when everyone was rejoicing, another wolf came out of the rift! And then another one, until four wolves came out! The Villagers faces fell, as fear struck their body. The man with mask said with a smile "Why are you shocked? Wolves always attack in packs." The enormous wolves then pounced at the dragon which caused Chao Shi's face to fall and Ming Li to feel extremely worried. Chao Shi waved his hands several times making the dragon fight the wolves. Slashes of claws rained on the dragon. The dragon wailed unable to fight back. It gathered all its strength to coil at one of the wolves and bit its head. However, three other wolves did not stop its attack as Chao Shi was continuously being pushed back by the pressure, until the dragon completely became lifeless and disintegrated. The wolves attacks were now directed at Chao Shi as he tapped his Cube and pulled out multiple orbs. These orbs formed a multi layered shield which forcefully withstood the attack of the wolves. Ming Li started panicking and tried to open the window to help his master, but the entire palace was being shut by protective energy from the roots. As he stared at Chao Shi's shield being destroyed one after another, tears started to flow from his eyes. He punched the window with all his strength but it did not even move. He also tried attacking it several times with his skill but nothing happened. Chao Shi was now kneeling with one knee. He was totally devoid of energy as he stared at Ming Li on a distance and smiled gently then he said "Live my disciple and never allow revenge to ruin you" With his last layer of shield remaining, he pressed his dantian with his thumb. A small flame passed through his skin and came out of his dantian! The black robed men's pupils constricted. They sliced a wound on their palms and slapped the ground as an extremely thick shield covered them. Ming Li did not understand what Chao Shi was doing, but he felt unexplained sadness and he started crying while shouting asking Chao Shi to stop. Chao Shi smiled for the last time, and grabbed the flame squeezing it until it emitted a blinding glow, which caused everything around him to melt. Then a deadly explosion occurred at a concentrated area engulfing all the black robed men. It was like an eruption of a volcano but the energy was extremely dense. The Shield of the black robed men started to crack. They produced pills and consumed it then channeled more energy to the shield. However, the shield started to crumble as more tiny cracks appeared. Beside the man with five swords, a crack suddenly widened and a small portion of the energy seeped in. The man with five swords panicked as he was engulfed by the wild energy from the explosion. His scream was heard by everyone while his body was slowly being destryoed by the wild energy, but not long after that, another crack opened, and the man with scar tried to block the energy, but he was also powerless against it. The energy didn't stop and also consumed the bald man. Horrific screams of pain echoed at the place as the explosion of energy slowly dissipated. Inside the barrier, only the man with mask and devilish face could be seen. Chao Shi on the other side was kneeling lifeless staring at the direction of Ming Li. The flame from his dantian slowly flickered until it was completely gone. Ming Li raged inside the mansion trying to break any window he can see. His fist was bleeding and his face was filled with tears. He could not believe that his master just died in front of him. His whole body trembled as he cried nonstop, all his thoughts became a mess as if his world just crumbled right in front of him. The two remaining black robed men sighed in relief and sneered at Chao Shi. They turned their gaze at Ming Li and sent out magical skills to destroy the mansion. When their skill hit the mansion, it didn't even gaze the roots surrounding the mansion. Their gaze became more fierce as they employed more powerful skills. A ball of black energy appeared above the masked man, It was composed of smoke the same as the wolves. He sent it to the mansion and enveloped the place. The smoke swirled trying to destroy the mansion which caused the mansion to tremble, but still, it did not budge. Outside, the spinning of the smoke continued for ten breaths until it dissipated into thin air. The masked man then said "That dead bastard probably used an extremely rare treasure and poured every last bit of his energy to complete that skill." He then turned his gaze to the nearby villagers and made a sinister smile
