The war continued to unfold as all sides revealed some of their trump cards. On the side of the Crystal Leaf Sect, the sect elder was still calm in his position ever since the war started. He slowly knocked his fist backward in the direction of the crystal leaf, and cracks appeared in the air directly creating a nick at the giant crystal leaf behind him. The nick quickly grew into numerous cracks causing the third giant crystal leaf to shatter, which formed into clouds that covered the sky. Rain quickly poured down from the clouds creating a scene where fire and rain existed at the same moment. The rain increased the speed of every member of the Crystal Leaf Sect while slowing down the movement of their opponents at a small degree. Even though the decrease in movement was not much, it still affected the flow of the fight tremendously. Those who were fighting on almost equal terms quickly showed immense difference and many perished along with their decrease in speed. "This battle is nearing its end." The Crystal Leaf Sect leader softly said as he started to observe the fight once more. While all of this was happening, the Patriarch of Golden Phoenix Order frowned as he said with a bit of hesitation "Activate the third attribute!" The totem moved, as the wooden wings of the totem slowly opened wide as if the phoenix was actually alive, then it issued a piercing scream that made everyone tremble subconsciously. Fire erupted everywhere as many died, by far, this was the most destructive attack out of the attacks the three opposing group have made. However, the attack did not differentiate enemies from allies, it randomly burnt anyone who was engulfed by randomly occurring flame pillars. Even some weakened Golden Phoenix Order Disciples were burnt to ash. However, even though the flames burns anyone, most of the Golden Phoenix Disciples were still able to fend of the pillars of flames. Due to their strong resistance to heat and flames, only a few of them died and most of them simply ignored the flame pillars. Random screams could be heard everywhere as some flames shot up through the sky piercing as high as the clouds above. It was as if these flames were made not to assist the Golden Phoenix Order, instead it was made to destroy anyone. Being the only group not using their third trump card, the Black Spider Guild was slowly being pushed back again as many seekers were able to get near their shields and deal constant damage. With not much options, the Gao group leader gritted his teeth and raised his spear up high splitting the clouds as thousands of members inside the shield simultaneously shouted while raising their spear above their heads "Thousand Spear Array!" All of those disciples who shouted those words suddenly became lifeless as they blankly stood inside the shield unmoving. Up in the sky where the split in the sky appeared, thousands of illusory skeleton army wielding a spear descended on the land. The sky dimmed, and a rotten stench covered the land. It was as if the land of the dead actually opened up to join the war. Each one of them have different level, and it seemed like they match the level of those thousand members of the guild inside the shield! However, even though some of them have low levels, the different thing about them was that they were extremely hard to kill. Even though their body were sliced in half they can still fight and recover. The only way to kill them was to completely crush their head, which when done actually wakes up the counterpart seeker inside the shield to from his lifeless state. These almost undying soldiers swept over the battlefield enabling the Black Spider Guild to maintain the remaining shield and avoid further losses. .... Inside the chamber, Ming Li was panting heavily, he now slaughtered ten of the seekers in the array. However, the remaining seekers seem to be much stronger than those ten who perished. Actually, Ming Li could kill anyone of those seekers individually, but being ganged up caused his stamina to quickly dwindle, making him worry about his situation. Four more men walked out of the array, causing the the array to weaken. They did not hesitate to attack Ming Li with various skills which caused the chamber to tremble as strong gust of wind erupted from the collision of the attacks. Luckily, Ming Li have created tons of crystal leaf which allowed him to last in a fight longer than anyone. Along with his unusual Art of Suffering, he can fight with any opponent stronger than him. Also his abnormally good control of natural energy because of the Blue Orb inside of his core made it possible for him to create devastatingly strong attacks. Those seekers attacking him showed no expression, but it was clear that they were shaken about Ming Li's strength. For them, it was clearly abnormal for anyone at the first level of fusion realm to fight four of them at the same time. By grabbing the neck of one of them, Ming Li simply said "Despair" which disabled the man's ability to fight. Another one jumped towards him wielding a giant sword that was covered in explosive natural energy. When he saw the man, he quickly threw the seeker affected by despair towards the man with giant sword. The man with giant sword didn't hesitate to slash his own comrade and have the explosive energy continue towards Ming Li. Ming Li pushed his hands forward, creating a heat wave pushing towards the explosive energy causing a huge explosion. Furthermore, the attack made the man with giant swords tumble backwards and caused him to lose his footing. Then Ming Li appeared in front of him decapitating his head without mercy. The two remaining seeker also wildly attacked Ming Li without reserve as they both wielded a sword which created hundreds of illusory sword flash towards Ming Li. In response, Ming Li crushed six crystal leaf simultaneously using both hands. Without hesitation, he used it to counter all of the swords flash towards him. Booom! The illusory swords simply vanished. However, the attack from the crystal leaves continued towards the two as it hit them head on causing them to tumble backwards violently. Ming Li's hands were now filled with wounds. All of these wounds were from using several crystal leaves at once. Since wild energy came from the crystal leaves, it was impossible for Ming Li to control so many at once. So he was simply throwing these wild energy without being able to control them causing injuries to be inflicted on himself. He did not mind these injuries and continued his aggressive offence killing both of the two who were thrown away by his previous attack. With fourteen dead only ten remained, he didn't feel much relived. However, for some unknown reason, these remaining ten seems to be hesitant to move out of the array. It was as if, if they move out, the whole array would go weaker and would delay whatever they were doing to a great extent. When Ming Li saw this, a smile appeared on his face as he rushed forward trying to grab the altar and snatch it away. .... Lightning, rain, fire balls, fire pillars, poison spirits, undying skeletons, rifts and the red atmosphere filled the battlefield. Even the seekers who reached Soul Ascension were feeling confused of various attacks appearing everywhere. Only a few elders have fallen so far, but a death of an elder on one side caused a severely injured elder on the other, which made everyone unable to gain the upper hand. With everything in total chaos, the Crystal Leaf Sect leader again lifted up his hands and knocked backwards towards the giant crystal leaf behind him, causing the fourth crytal leaf to Shatter into pieces. The shattered crystal leaf created a violent wind to sprung up sending thousand of wind blades at the battlefield. It was so wild that everyone was shocked by this fourth Crystal Leaf. The destructive power was almost the same as the fire pillars! The opposing group elders frowned as they watch thousands of wind blade dance around the battlefield causing numerous death. While thinking deeply, the Patriarch of the Golden Phoenix Order said "Since that old man from Crystal Leaf Sect want to end this. We shall end it with the Golden Phoenix Order standing on top!" He then shouted "Activate the fourth attribute!" Creaking sound was suddenly heard by everyone as the wings of the phoenix totem flapped three times! After flapping it three times, the the nearby enemies were instantly turned to ash. As the flame pillars erupted more violently and frequently, it caused flames to be thrown away creating a rain of flame which was harder to dodge compared to the fireballs from the sky. Everyone was tired, and they all believe that the war is at its critical point where anyone who gets pushed back would lose. So this final struggle would decide their fate.
