Huh so brain cells that are nurture are called Mana Vessel huh. Well I guess it makes sense. Explains everything about need to nurture and expand its capacity. Without big enough vessel you can’t store anything right.
Now that I managed to get myself a mana lets cast a spell. Since only Matrix I got is fireball, fireball it is.
So how do I connect to my second door to use the Spell Matrix that is in there. Oh, just willing it makes it appear in my head automatically. That’s convenient. Okay next is visualizing the fireball. Then infusing the Spell Matrix with mana. Ooh I can feel it mana goes into the Spell Matrix and gets converted to elemental mana first then Matrix directs the mana to heat itself to change its base form and manifest itself in the outside world.
Et viola. There it is my first fireball. Fist sized small orange colored ball made out of fire. Feels easy to sustain it since I don’t need to concentrate hard to keep the Matrix drawn in my head. But my brain feels empty now that I used every bit of mana in it to cast the spell. But I can feel it being filled back already. This cooling and refreshing feeling of my mana vessel getting full is something that I can get used to. I guess this is the perk of having high ranked Soul Root I suppose.
Since I got more mana before the first spell ran out of mana let’s try injecting more mana into the Spell Matrix. Injecting more mana makes almost no difference. Expect tiny bit of increase in temperature of the fireball. So that means if get more mana reservoir and inject enough mana into the Spell Matrix I can make this simple fireball spell into something devastatingly powerful right.

So, this is the advantage that my second door gives me. Since I don’t need to concentrate on both the visualization of the effect and Spell Matrix in my head that gives me more room to maneuver with my spells.
I so want to throw the fireball somewhere to see it explode. But that would be pretty stupid considering I’m in a forest.
So, all I can do is cast the spell to squeeze my mana vessel empty the convert more mana to nurture it again. Let’s hope nurturing my brain cells will give me useful trait sooner.
Still feels awesome to cast my first spell. It may be a simple and insignificant spell but this marks my start on the path to strength. Can’t figure out why but I have been having this feeling that if I want to survive in this forest I need power. Not just power to protect myself but power to stand on the very top.
The power to be the predator not the prey.
No matter what, power is all that matters. Doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, loved or hated, sick or healthy, evil or good everything eventually comes down to who is the strongest. Strongest gets to do whatever he wants.
So, no matter what, power to be the strongest not just ordinary person but someone who can do whatever he wants. Not to be preached by good and do something they want me to do for good of the world or bullshit like that or to be threatened by the evil to do things against my own will. I want to be the third party, neutral party that will do whatever the hell I want to do.
So, in order to do that I need to be stronger than both the evil and the good combined. Overwhelming power, that is the only way to be the neutral party. So, no matter the means I will achieve that power.

And this first fireball I casted is the beginning of my path to achieve that power.
And I can’t do that by being cooped down here doing nothing but cast fireball and hoping to gain useful trait that might not even show up. I need to go out see what this forest is made out of and then the world.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
