After getting the devil down, I got my mission and quest along with my reward. I hope those two got sufficient space inside.

So, the devil possessed the boy. That means their souls are entangled. So, all I have to do is to separate their souls and kill the devil and leave the boy. Only question is can I do it.

I can only try. So, I decided to bring their soul into my Soul Palace. To do that, I need to follow what I did with my egg.

I put my hand on his chest and close my eyes. And will part of my soul to enter his body and find their souls. I find them. Like I suspected entangled, no more like black ooze cover up a small light blob.

I guess black ooze would be the devil and the little light would be Turin. After finding their souls, I will my soul to cover them up and pull them along back into my Soul Palace.

They try to resist, but because of my very through beating they fail to resist me completely and gets pulled back into my Soul Palace.

After getting them inside my Soul Palace, I jam them inside my third door. Well, because in there I’m omnipotent.

And I enter after them. And see them take their shape. Look just like how the devil looked outside. There isn’t a smidge of Turin’s presence I can feel. But I’m absolutely sure that he is in there.

All I got to do is to separate their souls and kill the devil. And I’m sure that will end him permanently.

“What is this place?”

Devil looks to me and asks.

“So, you can talk?”

“Of course, I can. Now what is this place?”

“This is my soul.”

“And you let me just enter it without hesitation. That was extremely foolish.”

Devil smirks at me.

“And why is that?”

“When devils are summoned, they need to possess someone to continue existing on this plane. So, most important thing for the devil to have is powerful soul. Of not we can’t possess others. And you just let my inside your soul. That means I can wreak havoc inside your soul and possess you.

Your body is extremely stronger than this boy’s. With your body I can do whatever I want. I can even get out of that delusional prince’s control.”

“Well, if what you said is true you may have a point about me being foolish. But I’m pretty sure that you never tried to possess someone like me before.”

“They all believe that.”

Devil’s smirk gets even bigger.

“So, shall we start the second round then?”

He lunges at me with his growing smirk, mistaking where he is.

Thump.

Just as he gets into range, I make a metal wall materialize right in front of me and he crashes into that wall. I think I will torment him for a while and extract some information from him first.

But first I need to extract youngest prince’s soul from inside him. So, I lift him up and brings out an operating table beneath him and ties him to it. All the while I’m doing the he’s got a surprised and confused look in his eyes.

Now, to extract Turin’s soul from inside him I need to open him up. For that I need big knife. Hehe. No problem.

“AAHH!!!”

He starts to scream painfully as I start to slice him up into two pieces right in the middle with a giant scalpel. And I see Turin’s little white light from inside the devil.

As I see the vague outline of Turin’s soul, I start to slice the devil up around his soul and simply extracts him out of devil’s entanglement. After I separated them, Turin turns into his physical form inside my third door.

I think that confirms that I managed to separate their souls. After extracting Turin’s soul from the devil, I send his soul back into his body.

“Now I can concentrate on you. Hehe.”

Devil looks at me with unadulterated fear and confusion in his eyes.

“This is impossible. How are you doing all this to me.”

“Well, let me educate you. You are not in my soul and at the same time not. You are simply in one of the extensions of my soul. One where I’m omnipotent. I guess you let yourself get pulled into my soul believing the you can possess me after getting in.

But that was your biggest mistake. Now here is the deal. You tell me everything you know about what Albatras is trying to do with all this. You do that, and I will kill you without much pain. Or else.”

Ptooey!

He spits in my face. As I wipe it off, grin crawls up my face.

“That is exactly what I was hoping for.”

“AAAAAAAAAHHH!!!”

As I start devil starts to scream painfully.

This dude is tenacious. It’s been almost thirty minute and he is still resisting. But I think he’s nearing his limit here.

“Did you have enough yet?”

Apparently, I was wrong. It seems he is far from nearing his limit. And I don’t have all day. So, I guess I will just get rid of him.

And I have a method that will get rid of him permanently and benefit me at the same time. I drag him along to my first door and enter world of my world tree.

As I look at my world tree, I couldn’t help but getting emotional. It is getting bigger and bigger by day. Now, I think it is, always calling my world tree it does not feel good. So, think I will name it.

After all, when it comes to world tree Yggdrasil is the best name for me. And when I think about it, I lack creativity.

Anyway, Yggdrasil is a good name, so, I will call my world tree that. As I name it, as if it likes the name, Yggdrasil shakes its branches.

“It’s good that you like your name, my boy.”

Don’t know why I called him my boy. But it feels natural. Anyway, to the main goal here. I bring the devil in front of Yggdrasil.

“Absorb him.”

As I give my command, Ygg’s roots come up from beneath the ground and entangles the devil’s soul and start to drag him beneath the ground.

After few seconds, devil is gone, and ground is back to way it was just a few seconds ago. If you told me what you knew, I would have just killed you.

But since you decided to keep your mouth shut, you can go ahead and become fertilizer. And since his soul is as stronger that others, I’m sure it will be beneficial to Ygg.

And again, as if to agree with me Ygg starts to shake his branches. Now that this is taken care of, let’s check out what is going on outside.
