“Mhmm… Haahhhnnn…”

The morning sun shines through the window. Birds singing in the trees, and the wonderful melody of the leaves dancing in the breeze… Is not what I encountered when I woke up. Instead, what greeted me was, a horrifying scene.

Droves of wounded adventurers on the streets, healers frantically running around healing the wounded, cries of sorrow, and the rage of battle.

“…What the heck is happening?”

I quickly got up from my bed and woke Furry up.

“…Puu~?”

Furry, who was still half-asleep, looked at me with half-closed eyes. So cute…

“Pupuu~?...!? Pupuu~!?”

Looks like it noticed the abnormality. Actually, I have been referring to Furry as it for a while now, but when I took another look at her status, it made me realize how dumb it was of me to refet to her as “it”.

[Queen of Cuteness]

Furry is a she!! So I revised my way of calling her. Anyway back on topic.

She climbed on my head when I picked her up and grabbed my hair tightly as I quickly run downstairs. What greeted me was a scene of some adventurers wounded here and there and Maya, the inkeeper healing them.

“Kouta-kun is that you!?”

Maya who was ragged from healing wounded adventurers continously noticed me at the stairway and called out.

“Kouta-kun! Can you please help me with the injured?”

“Leave it to me!”

I quickly changed my [Dota 2 Skill Set] skill to a healer type.

Hero skill set changed from [Keeper of the Light] to [Omniknight]

[Omniknight]

[Purification] - Instantly heals a friendly unit and damages all nearby enemy units. [Repel] - Creates a divine barrier around an ally which grants them Spell Immunity and 100% resistance to Magic Damage. [Degen Aura] - Greatly degenerates the movement and attack capabilities of enemy units that stray too near. [Guardian Angel] - Omniknight summons a Guardian Angel that grants immunity from physical damage for a set period of time to allies.

Now that I had changed my skill set to [Omniknight], I can now heal those injured. Since I had designated all of the adventurers here as allies, they won’t be harmed by the damage ability of [Purification]. To start with, I casted the spell on the heavily wounded ones first.

White rays of light poured on the adventurer’s body like it was from the heavens. The surrounding adventurers who witnessed this, had their dams broken.

“Ahh… Saint-sama!”

“Saint-sama!”

I ain’t no saint! I didn’t think it would be this effective. The wounds of the affected adventurers were instantly closing as soon as the light descended on them. I think that I may get a new title after this.

“As expected of Nii-san!”

Alexis who was busy bringing beverages to the worn-out adventurers appeared while I was busy healing the injured.

“But… Doesn’t that magic take a lot of your mana?”

Hmm? Speaking logically, in the terms of this world, mana should have a direct relationship when using magic-based skills. So, how am I fine when using [Purification] multiple times on the wounded.

Just as I was saying that, intense pain assaulted my head.

“G- Gaahh!”

I fell on my knees and Furry, who was sitting on my head fell over.

“Nii-san!?”

Alexis quickly came running over to support me who had fallen on one knee.

“Nii-san, stop using your magic for now. If you do, you might get [Mana Deficiency] too like my mother.”

Alexis was worried about me, who seemed to have overused my magic.

“Y- yeah… I’ll rest for a while, since the left are those with minor injuries. I can leave this to your mother, right?”

“Un!”

Somehow, please don’t make that face. That innocent look, coupled with your cuteness will make any man fall for you. Though, he may regret it later.

I went back to my room while staggering with Furry clinging on my shoulder. It seems like she noticed that I had a severe headache and clinged to my shoulder instead of my head. I arrived back in my room, and plopped on the bed.

“Clang… Clang… Shwing…”

The sounds of metal clashing against metal awoke me from my sleep. I took a peek outside the window to see the situation and it was dead quiet. Corpses from monsters and adventurers littered the streets in an unsightly way.

I took up my sword and Furry, who was guarding me while I was asleep, hopped back on my head with a bored expression. Humans dying, to you isn’t anything worth worrying huh?

“How long has it been while I was asleep?”

To check the time, I checked if the my skill is still on cooldown, and yep, I still have ten minutes before I can change hero skill sets.

“Furry, can you back me up when I fight?”

“Pupuu~!”

I head downstairs with Furry on my head and sword on my waist. Well actually, it isn’t a sword anymore, but a hammer with the same size of the sword I was wielding. Apparently, the weapon of the hero you copy changes your equipped weapon. This skill just got harder to control. I also didn’t notice that my sword turned into a staff last night because I was too sleepy to even pay attention.

“Clang! Clang!”

The sound keeps getting louder as I descend the staircase. At the bottom, I learned what was the reason why I heard those sounds.

“Gooohh!!!”

“Oryaa!!!”

A male adventurer was fending off a giant humanoid creature with one eye. It was holding a giant war axe coated in deep red blood. The male adventurer is someone I know as he is the father of Alexis. If I wasn’t mistaken, his name was Ryuford.

Ryuford was gallantly repelling the giant creatured with his short sword and buckler. He redirects a downward axe slash with his shield to the ground and counterattacked with his short sword. At first glance, Ryuford wasn’t dealing enough damage to wound the creature, but thanks to the training the knights gave us back in the castle, even if some of them beat me to a pulp and turned me into a vent for the anger, the creature was suffering through loss of blood as seen by the blood puddle below on his feet.

But Ryoford was in a tight spot either. Behind him were Alexis and his wife, Maya. He can’t change locations to use for a better advantaged lest he risk his family being in danger. He had some minor injuries, such as sprains, bruises seen on the surface, but based on his limping leg, he may have a fracture on his lower body. Seeing as he is in a tight spot, I used my skill.

“[Purification]!”

White light descended on Ryuford’s body, healing all kinds of injuries. If you see it clearly, even his limping leg was gone. The creature on the other hand, had it’s skin peeled of and muscles exposed. Blood scattered on the floor and the creature went limp on the ground, never to move again. What a gruesome sight.

“K- Kouta!?”

“Nii-san!?”

“Kouta-kun!?”

The family trio who saw what happened to see me, raised their surprised voices. Alexis, who was hugging his mom like there was no tomorrow, was crying his eyes out with snot dripping from his nose.

“Nii-san!!!”

Alexis dashed from his spot to mine and hugged me with fearsome strength, causing both of us to stumble.

“!?”

I… I didn’t see this coming… He… no… She… has no thing. Alexis is a pure girl. As the result from stumbling with my head on her lower regions, Alexis face turned red like a tomato.

“K-Kyaaa!!! HENTAI!!!”

Alexis quickly got up and ran away from me, while her parents, had lifeless eyes.

“Fufufu… Kouta-kun? What did you do to my daughter?”

“That’s right Kouta. No man has been able to do this kind of thing with her up until now.”

“What you’re saying might quickly seem as a misunderstanding!!!”

I mean, if someone was hearing this conversation right now, they would have thought that I might have assaulted a young girl. I ain’t no pedo!

Both of them quietly crept closer with smiling faces. They felt creepy and scary. I know as a fact, that their eyes aren’t laughing.

“Wait! Father! Mother! That was entirely my fault! And I don’t mind if it was nii-san!”

“Oyaa??”

“Ngh!?”

Maya had a face that looks mischevious, while Ryuford had a stiffened face.

“Alexis… Don’t tell me, you like Kouta-kun?”

“Ha- wawa!?”

Alexis’ face… Actually, her whole body became red like a tomato. You couldn’t tell if her original skin color was red or fair.

“Kouta… We need to talk.”

Using that, Ryuford dragged me, and his family to the shelter, to the adventurer’s guild.
