《The Hunter That Returned From Hell》Ch-74 Clash

‘There is really no point in sneaking behind your enemy if you don’t even have the control over your own Killing intent’ Kang-Ho thought.
While Kang-Ho fought the enemies in front of him his attention was always focused on the enemy hidden in the shadows, he knew the enemies he was fighting at the moment wouldn’t be able to make a single scratch in his body. The only one he should be worried about in this battle was the leader of the Choi guild. Hidden in the shadows he was waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike, so Kang-Ho focused all of his undivided attention towards him as he was unaware of the cards the man was holding in his possession.
Some time passed but the Choi guild leader still didn’t make a move so Kang-Ho decided to do something himself. Kang-Ho moved a little while fighting, now Kang-Ho’s back was facing Choi In-Kyu. After that Kang-Ho just waited for him to bite the bait.
‘Got you B***h’ Choi In-kyu inwardly, as he made his move. He wanted to kill the masked man in one shot, that was the reason why he waited for so long to attack.
Choi In-kyu suddenly jumped out of the shadow and swung his long sword towards the wide open back of Kang-Ho. As Kang-Ho was well aware of the attack that was coming towards him, he jumped and leapt out of the way.
Kang-ho thought of counter attacking after dodging the attack, but he suddenly heard a sneer coming from Choi In-Kyu’s direction. Suddenly, chills started to run down his back, he had a bad feeling. After that Kang-Ho felt something pulling his leg and he was dragged towards Choi In-Kyu.
“You think you can escape me that easily? I don’t care who sent and why they sent you but one thing is sure, you are not leaving this place in one piece. HAHAHAHAHAHA” Said Choi In-Kyu and started laughing maniacally. He retracted his left arm, and now was swinging his sword with just his right arm. It seemed like he had no problem swinging his sword with only one arm.

“Phantom Chain” Mumbled Choi In-Kyu and extended his left arm, out of thin air transparent green coloured chain came out of his hand and extended towards Kang-Ho. The chain spread towards the leg of Kang-Ho and wrapped around his ankle, after the chain attached itself to Kang-Ho Choi In-Kyu tugged the chain towards himself.
Kang-Ho tried to free himself from the chain but no matter how much he pulled it made no difference, the chain had tightly gripped around his ankle. After failing the attempt Kang-Ho swung his dagger towards the chain but no matter how much he hit the chain there were no scratches on the chain.
After dragging Kang-Ho with his chain Kang-Ho was right where Choi In-Kyu wanted him to be. Without wasting any time Choi In-Kyu swung his sword with his right hand, he used all of his power on his strike, he wanted to cut Kang-Ho in half in that one strike. Only then would his anger subdue.
“You forfeited your life right when you decided to show up on my territory. Blame yourself for being too cocky.” Said Choi In-Kyu with smug on his face. it was as if he knew that masked man will be dead with his one strike.
Kang-Ho didn’t like to have chit-chat during battle, so he just kept quiet and focused on the sword that was approaching him. Looking at the speed at which the sword was approaching Kang-Ho knew that he didn’t have the time to dodge the attack. Even though Kang-Ho was at a tough spot, he didn’t panic.
Kang-Ho rolled around with a sudden jerk, now the sword was coming for his body. After he was in position, Kang-Ho used his right hand to block the incoming sword attack. Kang-Ho managed to block the attack but unfortunately the attack was too powerful and the sword slipped over the dagger and landing straight into the shoulder of Kang-Ho.

Fortunately for Kang-Ho, he managed to slow down the sword substantially. The sword did cut Kang-Ho in the shoulder but fortunately the cut wasn’t fatal. Kang-Ho didn’t waste any time and retreated some steps back to face the enemy. Kang-Ho started to think on how he could break the chain it seemed that physical power alone wouldn’t cut the chain. If Kang-Ho didn’t find a way to counter that chain fast he would be in trouble.
“Boss is here, Boss can defeat this masked coward with the flip of his hand, Attack the masked man we can take him down easily with boss present here.” said one of the choi guild member surrounding Kang-Ho.
“ATTACK!!!!” Shouted all the Choi guild members surrounding Kang-Ho. After the battle cry it seemed like the people who were afraid of Kang-Ho until now were no longer afraid of him. They started to see Kang-Ho as a juicy piece of meat, whoever kills it first get reward.
“Pests will only get in the way.” Said Choi In-Kyu and swung his left hand around and cut everyone surrounding Kang-Ho into half. It was true horror, Choi In-Kyu managed to kill that many people with just one swing of his chain. Not all of them were killed 2-3 people were still alive, those alive were begging for mercy.
“Runaway fast if you want to live.” Said Choi In-Kyu, with an angry tone.
“Thank you, Boss Thank you.” Said the survivors and started to run away. They knew if they stayed there any longer, they would die. They all saw how the others died they didn’t even know what hit them, the chain sliced them like slicing hot knife through butter. Not one person was able to scream when they were killed with the chain.
At the moment when Choi In-Kyu swung the chain, Kang-Ho saw something that no one else could with naked eyes. Kang-Ho saw that the chain materialized through mana, and he made an estimate that Choi In-Kyu can’t make the chain longer than 2 meter as those who didn’t die were outside of 2-meter radius from him. Kang-Ho had smile of his face after knowing all the details about the skill.
Once the place was clear Choi In-Kyu walked closer to Kang-Ho, Kang-Ho didn’t walk away as he was confident that he could face any thing that came his way.
“HEAAAAYYYY” yelled Cho In-Kyu and swung his left hand towards Kang-Ho. This time the chain seemed different from when the chain captured him. the chain this time had a sharp edge like when Choi In-Kyu killed his guild members, the chain was approaching his body very fast. It seemed that Kang-Ho was done playing around.
Kang-Ho didn’t move an inch even while the chain approached him, he just stood there waiting for the chain to reach him.
Right when the chain was about to hit Kang-Ho, he swung his right hand, Kang-Ho wanted to intercept the chain on its way.
“HAHAHAHHA, You think you can block my ch…………..” Choi In-Kyu was trying to say something but he couldn’t finish the sentence because of wat he saw.
