The whole afternoon passed by and when noon arrived, Cretus woke up. He saw clothes at the other end of his bed and started to wonder how he ended up in this room
Cretus: "I was tied on a donkey how on earth did I end up here?
*tummy starts grumbling*
"I may have fed myself from rats, however, that was far from enough," Cretus said
The woman who saved him heard his voice, she assumed he was awake and opened the door to welcome him.
Lady: "Greetings traveler, I hope you slept well." she said enthusiastically "I am relieved to see that you are awake, however, this does not mean you are out of danger. You look very skinny, I suggest you get something to eat; I have prepared a meal just for you at the dining table. If you could just follow me..."
Cretus who saw his savior for the first time admired her beauty and smiled
Cretus: "Dear lady, I cannot last another second without knowing the name of the one who saved me,"
Kalista:" Oh... Where are my manners, my name is Kalista, and I am the owner of this farm."
Cretus: "My name is Cretus and I would like to thank you for saving me from a situation that was surely certain death if you did not intervene..."
Kalista: "Well then, enough talking, now, how about you put those clothes on and go get something to eat."
Kalista led Cretus to the dining table where they both took their dinner.
Kalista: "Umm, excuse me sir Cretus Please forgive my curiosity, but you do realize I cannot just stay seated while when I found you on that donkey, you were tied up in a pitiful condition. If it is not too much to ask, I would like to know how you ended up in such a situation..."
Cretus who already anticipated the fact she would ask that question was not uncomfortable with the topic she raised

Cretus: "Of course, I could not expect you to keep silent at one moment, you would always raise the topic. So do not worry, I will explain to you what happened entirely"
Kalista did not miss a word of what she said and at the end of the story, she felt sad for him because going through a series of rough events such as those is hard.
Kalista: "You must be very mature indeed if what you say is true, you still have the strength to smile and not feel any anger towards your mother's murderer."
Cretus: "Unfortunately, If only what you said is true. I maybe am not showing it, but I hate him from the very deep of my heart and I do seek vengeance, however, that is not my top priority. For now, I just want to live my life to the full extent.
Kalista: *smiles*"You are welcome to stay as long as you want. You can use the room you slept in and help me with the chores around the farm."
Cretus: "I accept gladly!"
Meanwhile in Meralin Martris was in his palace on his throne when suddenly a londal came in and seemed quite stressed.
He approached hesitantly and bowed to the deity and said "My lord, we tied the prisoner named Cretus on the donkey and let him go since yesterday as you said, however, reports have it that they have possession of the donkey, but the prisoner is not on it anymore."
Martis: "So you mean you don't know where the prisoner is any more"
After a few seconds of hesitating the londal said "no my lord..."
After he said those few words, the deity sucked his sole away leaving him for dead
Martris: "This shall be your punishment for not fulfilling your duty, Guard!"
*londal walks in*
Martris: I want you to find that prisoner and bring him to me so that I can kill him properly this time. No one shall live after disrespecting me as he did.

The londal then walked out of the room and informed every londal who was available that they should start searching for Cretus.
Days passed, weeks passed, and Cretus was still living on the farm with Kalista. The more Cretus was spending time with Kalista, the more he was starting to have sentimental affections for her. However, he did not know if she felt the same, so he kept it for himself.
One day, Kalista had big bags of vegetable and fruits on a donkey and wore clothing that made her look like a traveler
Kalista: Cretus, I am on my way to the town of Pondara to sell and buy some goods. Unless you want to come with me, you can always stay.
Cretus: I would like to discover the outside world a bit more... let me come with you, I am sure I would be of good help!
Kalista: Very well then, you better get ready quick, we must get back before tomorrow.
Cretus put a pile of clothes on for the trip, he took his donkey and they were off.
While Kalista and Kretus were on their trip to Pondara, the londals found Cretus' trace which led them directly to the farm.
londal 1: Check the house and see if you have any proof he lives here.
The londals started to turn the house upside down and eventually found proof that he lived here.
londal 2: We found the clothes he wore the day he was tied up
Londal 1: *smiles* that's enough proof, so now, let's burn the place down and prepare an ambush on them when they will come back, so stay alert!
The londals burnt the house and each left to a hiding place waiting for Cretus to appear.
Hours passed, and it was already night when Cretus and Kalista came back from their small trip. they were a few miles away from the house when they suddenly started smelling smoke. Both Cretus and Kalista looked at each other and ran to the farm. However, they saw the farm on fire and they could not do anything but watch.
Kalista: The farm! *falls to the ground and starts crying*
Cretus: Who could have done such a thing...
Suddenly, the londals leaped out of nowhere and surrounded Kalista and Cretus.
londal 1: *smirks* do you remember me, you are the one you knocked out in that prison cell. I would gladly kill you, but Martris needs you alive, so don't resist, or we will have to cut a leg or two...
Cretus: *speaks menacingly* So just to capture me you burnt her whole place down.
londal 1: I admit that was overly excessive, but we just couldn't help it
They all started laughing and Cretus took that chance to kick a burnt wood at the londal's face blinding him. He then took Kalista's hand and they ran in the direction of where they came from but this time went out of the road and in the bushes.
Cretus: I doubt they will see us from so many bushes... *takes breath back*
londal 1: We see you! You can't hide anywhere, so don't think the bushes will protect you.
Cretus and Kalista started walking faster without knowing where they were going and at one point, they got out of the bushes and found a dark cave
Cretus: I think it would be safer to stay in the dark until we lose them...
They then went into the cave where they could see nothing but the outside world where they were seeing the londals still looking for them.
Cretus: Why are they not coming into the cave? Are they scared of the dark?
Cretus started to hear a voice coming to the end of the cave
Mysterious voice: Cretus, you are the chosen one, let my voice guide you to glory...
Cretus: who in the blazes is calling me?
Little did he know, something extraordinary was awaiting him.

Philippines in Another World (Because Japan is too OP. Please Nerf)
This is the Philippines, the Pearl of the Orient Seas. It is a country of sunny weather and sweet smiles, where life is relatively simple (unless you are into politics) and where people are friendly and warm. However, it is not without flaws. For instance, Philippines suffer corruption in the government like other developing countries as well as decades of insurrection. The rich only gets richer and the poor gets poorer, while since time immemorial the country's denizens have this habit of hating their presidents and loving foreigners more than their own countrymen. It seems nothing has changed much since the famed EDSA Revolution of 1987.The year is 2042. Philippines has reached economic growth comparable to South Korea in 2022. Still, elite families control the government and social justice remains dismal. The younger population became increasingly materialistic while their parents are becoming more and more irresponsible. The problem has shifted from "how to decrease population" to "how to make spoiled kids' and parents' ass off to work".In terms of military power, the country has acquired considerate amount of firepower but remained one of the weakest in the ASEAN region thanks to politics. Worse, China and the USA has declared war against each other after a diplomatic blunder thanks to the incompetence of their respective new presidents. The world is doomed to a world war 3 while the Philippines was caught unprepared for war. Instead of finding solutions, politicians in the Philippines continued to blame their political enemies while the CBCP called everyone to prayer, hoping that God would make a miracle that make Philippines somewhat immune to nuclear weapons. Ironically, the prayer got answered in a way that is unimaginable....

Dungeon Crawler Katia
The aliens killed everyone on Earth...almost. Every structure, from the Taj Mahal to the lowliest lobster trap, vanished into the earth, killing everyone inside. The survivors were given a choice: Endure on the surface without food or shelter or tools, or descend into a world-spanning nightmare dungeon that is also a reality TV show. Katia, an art professor from Iceland who has given up her humanity to transform into a shapeshifting doppelganger, meets up with Carl and his cat, Donut. Together, the three fight to survive in a dungeon filled with Clarketech goblin murderdozers and pyramid-scheme fairy moonshine-makers. The above is, of course, describing Dungeon Crawler Carl. With DoctorHepa's (the author) permission I'm posting some fanfic to expand on Katia, one of the secondary characters who started off not getting as much exploration as I would have preferred. I started off writing chapters that matched up to canon except from her POV instead of Carl's; that lasted a couple of chapters before going off the rails and spinning off into a completely new story, which suggests I should really go back and renumber all the chapters as soon as I find some tuits.
