*knock* *knock* “open up”. Atli heard a loud knocking door and jumped out of his bed and ran quickly to his door. Atli took a deep breath and opened the door. When he opened the door, he saw two guys in full plate armor without a helmet and swords on their waist after he blinked, he looked at them again and saw that one the first guard had long brown hair made into a ponytail and no beard he also looked like he was in his mid-20s and the guard behind him had black hair and a bowl cut and looked like he was about 16 years old. The older guy started speaking:

“good morning is you Atli Strickland.”

“yes, that’s me. Can I ask you what business you have with me?” Atli replied with a tired voice.

“uh oh yea that’s right you are new here anyways I’m Rajiv Fabre and the young one behind me is Killian Mullen we are guard under the direct command of the king. And we came here because of your special magic type. The king is very interested in you.”

“okay umm so do I have to meet with him now or when? Because I’m waiting for my adventurer card.”

“We already took care of that.”

Rajiv searched under his armor and then handed Atli a small card. Atli wasn’t interested in the card right now so he just put it into his pocket.

“And to answer your question yes the king is expecting you so we will departure in about two hours in that time get ready and eat something.”

Rajiv took 5 gold coins out of his pouch and gave them to Atli. Then Rajiv and Killian walked off. Atli closed his door and turned around and started walking to his bed. Atli sat down and took out the card Rajiv gave him and looked at it. The card had Atli name on it, his magic type and his rank as an adventurer he was a copper rank aka the lowest the ranks went copper-iron-silver-gold-platinum copper being the lowest and platinum being the highest. Atli put the card back into his pocket and stood up. He walked to the chest and put his armor on. Then he walked down the creaky stairs and went to the bar. Atli saw a different bartender then last night behind the bar was a woman who had dark brown hair and a pixie cut and looked to be in her early 20s and had a small freckle under her left eye. But Atli didn’t care and just went up to the bar and said:

“hello, can you give me the menu please.”

The woman got spooked a little and quickly took out one menu out of the bar table and gave it to Atli. Atli opened the menu and again couldn’t read anything he wanted to randomly choose again and then he saw one meal he recognized it was ‘English breakfast’ he was surprised and just ordered it because he wanted to know if it was the same English breakfast. After ordering he stopped the woman and just asked her:

“I’m interested how did you come up with this meal and why did you call it that?”

“oh, we didn’t name not even come up with the meal. About three years ago an adventurer came into our inn and ordered our breakfast after I brought it to him, he was displeased with it and demented to speak to the chef after I let him speak with him the adventurer demented to show the chef how to make a proper breakfast and the chef let him. After the adventurer cooked it, he gave it to the chef to taste it and he loved it so much he put it into the menu. It was kinda funny but that was three years ago, and we haven’t seen the adventurer since I hope he’s okay.”

After Atli sat at one of the tables he thought to himself so there are people from my world here I hope I meet one of them. Atli ate his breakfast and paid for it. Then he walked outside the inn and there were Rajiv and Killian standing next to a carriage. They noticed him and Rajiv walked to him and said:

“ready to go?”

“yea I think I’m ready we can go.”

“great then follow me.”

Rajiv started walking to the carriage and told Killian that they are going. After everyone was inside the carriage Killian took his sheathed sword and knocked on the roof of the carriage after that they started to move. About ten minutes into the ride Atli asked:

“so, where are we going?”

Rajiv answered with a grin on his face:

“to the capital to visit the king don’t you remember.”

Suddenly Atli felt dizzy and collapsed.
